ROAD WORK Excavation for road work in soil with hydraulic Excavator of 0.9 cum bucket capacity including cutting and loading in tippers, trimming bottom and side slopes, in accordance with requirements of lines, grades and cross sections and transporting to the embankment location with all lifts and lead upto 1000m.
Construction of granular sub-base by providing close graded material, mixing in a mechanical mix plant at OMC, carriage of mixed material to work site, spreading in uniform layer with motor grader on prepared surface and compacting with vibratory power roller to achieve the desired density, complete as per clause 401of MoRTH specification, 4th Revision - by plant mix method for grading I material.
Providing , laying , spreading and compacting graded stone aggregate to wet mix macadam specification including premixing the material with water at OMC in mechanical mix plant carriage of mixed material by tipper to site , laying in uniform layer by manual means in sub-base / base course on well prepared surface and compacting with vibratory roller to achieve the desired density - using vibratory roller
Providing and applying primer coat with bitumen emulsion on prepared surface of granular base including clearing of road surface and spraying primer at the rate of 0.60 kg/sqm using mechanical means. (As per MoRTH specification, 4th Revision)
Providing and applying tack coat with bitumen emulsion using emulsion pressure distributor at the rate of 0.20 kg. per sqm. on the prepared bituminous/granular surface cleaned with mechanical broom. (As per MoRTH specification, 4th Revision).
Providing and laying dense graded bituminous macadam with HMP of capacity not less than 40 to 60 TPH using crushed aggregates of specified grading, premixed with bituminouse binder @ 4.0 to 4.5 percent by weight of total mix and filler, transporting the hot mix to work site, laying with a hydrostatic paver finisher with sensor control to the required grade, level and alignment, rolling with smooth wheeled, vibratory and tandem rollers to achive the desired compaction as per clause 507 of MoRTH specification, 4th Revision, complete in all respects - Using grade- II materials
Providing and laying bituminous concrete with HMP of capacity not less than 40 to 60 TPH using crushed aggregates of specified grading, premixed with bituminous binder @ 5.4 to 5.6 percent of mix and filler, transporting the hot mix to work site, laying with a hydrostatic paver finisher with sensor control to the required grade, level and alignment, rolling with smooth wheeled, vibratory and tandem rollers to achieve the desired compaction as per clause 509 of MoRTH specification, 4th Revision, complete in all respects - Using grade-II material.-Bitumen 60/70
Demolishing cement concrete manually / by mechanical means including disposal of material within 50 metres lead – nominal concrete 1:3:6 or richer mix (i/c equivalent design mix).
ROAD SIGNAGES AND ROAD FURNISHINGS Providing and laying of hot applied thermoplastic compound 2.5mm thick including reflectorising glass beads @ 250 gms per sqm area, thickness of 2.5mm is exclusive of surface applied glass beads as per IRC:35. The finished surface to be level, uniform and free from streaks and holes.
Providing and fixing of retro reflectorised cautionary, mandatory & informatory sign as per IRC:67 made of aluminium sheet encapsulated lens with high intensity grade sheeting vide clause 801.3, fixed over aluminium sheeting, 1.5 mm thick supported on a mild steel angle iron post 75 mm X 75 mm X 6 mm (3.6 mtrs height - 6.8kg/mtr = 24.48kg , with board support angle 2.10 mtrs - 3kg/mtr = 6.3 kg and anchor flat 0.50kg)firmly fixed to the ground by means of properly designed foundation with M15 Grade cement concrete 45 cm X 45 cm X 60 cm , 60cm below ground level as per approved drawing. – 60 cm X 45cm rectangular . (including cost of angle iron towards cost of drilling holes , nuts , bolts etc.,)
Supplying and fixing of cantilever type destination sign boards with diamond graded reflective sheeting in rectangular shape of size 1.20 m x 0.9 m of double sided board including the cost and conveyance of reflective sheeting and providing symbols and letterings by high intensity grade reflective white sheeting fixed over the aluminium plates of all sizes not less than 2 mm thick suitably framed and supported by M.S. angles of size 40 mm X 40 mm X 6 mm with required bolt and nuts. The rectangular board is fixed in the post pipe of 100 mm dia M.S. Heavy vertically 4.8 mts height and horizontally 1.2m and both the vertical and horizontal are connected by a 100 mm dia M.S. heavy bend with inner support sleeves welded firmly and a base plate of size 30 cm X 30 cm welded at the bottom with necessary anchoring supports. The board and the post pipe are connected by 32 mm dia M.S. pipe with suitable bolts and clamps of 12 cm length by horizontally 3 places and vertically 2 places and a cross tie flat is provided at the bottom of the board with pipe post to hold the hanging strength. Finally the board frame and the post pipe are painted by Zinc chromate primer and aluminium paint and embedded in ground pit of size 0.8m X 0.8 m X 0.9 m with PCC 1:2:4 complete.
Providing and fixing 3M make reflective road studs of category “A” raised pavements markers made out of poly carbonate /ABS moulded body and reflective panels with retro reflective micro prismatic tough poly carbonate Iens capable of providing total internal reflection of the light entering the lens face with retro reflectivity and chromaticity values conforming to ASTM D4280. The reflective raised pavements markers shall also confirm the length, height and width of the body shall not be less than 100mm, 15mm and 90mm and base of marker shall be flat within 1.3mm (3 M equivalent ). The marker shall withstand a load of 13635Kg tested in accordance with ASTM D4280 lenses shall be moulded of polycarbonate or methyl methacrylate conforming ASTM D788. The area of each retro reflective surface shall not be less than 13.0 sq. cm. The slope or retro reflectivity surface shall be 35+5 degree to base. Each reflector shall have a CII not less than values specified in table 1 of said MoRTH circular and two cylindrical Polymer shanksnot less than 20mm diameter and not less than 30mm length shall be provided for better anchorage with bituminous grout or epoxy mortar all as per the latest MoRTH Circular.
Supply and installation of solar powered LED Amber blinkers 24 hours operation with Ultra bright Amber/ Red Solid State LED's.the operating voltage is 24 V and the battery and the LED's array enclosure is 300 mm dia with protection glass. The system shall blink 30 blinks per minute. Battery shall be of SMF and expected life shall be 2 years and panel life shall be expected 10 years. The visibility shall be 800 mts. The blinker shall be fixed in G.I. pipe class B of 4" dia reduced to 3" dia G.I.pipe class B. the rate shall include fixing below ground level of 1.20mts depth embedded in CC 1:2:4 of size 50 cm X 50 cm, pipe painted with primer and two or more coat enamel paint of required colour all as directed.
Fabrication supply and fixing of road side eflectors of size 5cm x 30cm in the RCC Central Median blocks made of corrosion resistant G.I Metal Sheet of 2mm thick dressing the edges, grinding and providing 6.50mm bolt holes. The reflectors will be provided with diamond grade reflective sheeting having pressure sensitive adhesives of aggressive tack type applied by vaccum applicator, made of single or double colour whichever required. The rate includes all the materials, fixing with 6mm thick anchor bolts 2 nos. using generator etc. complete.
