NOTE :- Work shall be executed for buildings of height upto 22 Mtr including all necessary scaffolding.

Dismantling of loose reinforced cement concrete of any description by chieseling, wedging etc., cutting the unserviceable reinforcement as in roofs, floors (including ground floors), beams, staircases, landing, chajjas, slab, similar suspended and column work including removal of all rubbish material where directed complete all as specified and directed.
Chipping the RCC surface, cleaning the rusted reinforcement and exposed surfaces by wire brush, using mechanical device or any other established method and applying the rust removing solution of approved make and quality with cotton swab to reinforcement and allowing to dry the same for 24 hrs, brushing of loose particles and applying 1st coat of rust preventive coating of polymer and cement slurry in (1:1.5) proportion with soft brush without adding water including applying another coat of rust preventing after 4 hrs allowing air curing for 48 hrs etc. including removal of all rubbish material where directed complete all as specified and directed.
Material and labour for dismantling / taking down old existing unserviceable cement plaster, loose / unsound weaken cement concrete of any description and in any position from existing external / internal surfaces of RCC / slab / beam / columns RCC, facias etc average depth 15mm (approx height upto 22 mtr from natural ground level) with power driven pneumatic chisel and removal of debris upto the approved municipal dumping ground outsides MoD land including cutting of all making square / rectangular cavities roughening the smooth surfaces complete all as specified and directed.
NOTE FOR SL ITEM NO. 15.00, 16.00 & 17.00 :- (a) Contractor needs to provide uninterrupted water supply during the complete contract period. Sufficient manpower and material in shift basis needs to be deployed after commencement of work. (b) If at any point during the contract period there is a scenario of no water supply to the area, contractor needs to arrange the water supply immediately without any further extra cost, failing which the department will arrange the same and necessary payments will be recovered from the contractor.
Providing and fixing double scaffolding system (cup or lock) on the external / internal side up to 22 mtr made out of 40mm dia MS tube 1.5m centre to centre horizontal and vertical tubes joining with cup & lock system with MS tube, MS tubes, challies, Ms clamp and MS staircase system in the scaffolding for working platform etc and maintaining it in a serviceable condition for the required duration as approved and removing it there after completion of particular job. The scaffolding system shall be stiffened with bracings runner connection with the building etc wherever required for inspection of work at required locations with essential safety feature for the executives, workmen etc complete as per direction and approval of Engineer-in-Charge. The elevation area of scaffolding shall be measured for payment purpose.
NOTE :- (a) The payment made only once irrespective of duration of scaffolding. (b) The item is required for plastering / painting / inspection of OHT and necessary deduction for scaffolding in the plastering / painting items to be done. (c) Necessary safety belts, helmets, etc. for executives, workmen is needed to be provided. The necessary rate is deemed to be included in the quoted rate of this item. (d) In case any accident / injury / fatal or partial disability happened, the contractor shall be solely responsible for settling all claims/ compensation. Department will have a right to recover any sum indicated / claimed by Labour Commissioner/ Court directive.
Material and labour for Cleaning of RCC water tanks by removing scales from the wall by scraping out and removing fungus including complete removal of sluges accumulated at the bottom of tanks after draining out entire quantity of water from tank, washing the tanks with clear water and bleaching powder including applying of one coat of anti fungal paint including re-writing the date of cleaning, capacity of the tank/sump with synthetic enamel white paint on black base all as specified for OH Reservoirs of following capacity. (a) OH Reservoir of 10000 gallons capacity
(b) OH Reservoir of 20000 gallon capacity
Material and labour Cleaning of RCC water tanks by removing scales and fungus from the wall by scraping out and removing fungus including complete removal of sluges accumulated at the bottom of tanks after draining out entire quantity of water from tank, washing the tanks with clear water after washing with bleaching powder and including applying of one coat of anti fungal paint including re-writing the date of cleaning, capacity of the tank / sump with synthetic enamel white paint on black base complete all as specified of following capacity. (a) UG Sump of 5000 gallons capacity
(b) UG Sump of 10000 gallons capacity.
(c) UG Sump of 15000 gallons capacity.
(d) UG Sump of 1.56 lakh gallons capacity.
Hiring of submersible / centrifugal pumpset of not less than 50 HP (Head - 30 Mtr and Discharge - 20 LPS) and other connected accessories like GI tubing, NRV, gatevalve, cabling, stand for pump, starter, etc. for supplying the potable water from technical area PH to MES area PH including cutting and connecting in the existing water line complete all as specified and as directed. NOTE :- (a) The payment shall be made once in contract period irrespective of duration of operation of pumpset. (b) The contractor needs to execute cutting / disconnecting the main pipe line carefully so that it shall be reconnected properly after the completion of above said work, any defects/damages occurred during this period the contractor needs to rectify that defects without any extra cost. (c) The quoted rate is deemed to be inclusive of the servicing of pumps / valves during the period of working period with responsibility of the contractor.
(d) The quoted rate deemed to be inclusive of necessary electrical cable, starter panel and weather proof MS Sheet Metal Enclosure for motor, NRV etc (e) Electricity for operating the pump will be supplied by the department free of cost. (f) For Measurement purpose, operation of pump is minimum 6 hrs/day for not less than 15 days for the repair of UG Sump as brought out. In case of delay nothing is admissible on this account. (g) The item needs to be executed in conjunction with Sl Item No (15 to 17) above for 1.56 Lakh Gallons Capacity sump at DIBT Technical Area Pump House, also any further requirement of operation shall be fulfilled by the contractor at no further extra cost & the stated item of hiring will be measured once for the 1.56 Lakh Gallons Capacity sump only.
Taking out upto 80 mm dia GI tubing including cutting the existing GI connection from floor wall / trenches for replacement / refixing complete all as specified and as directed.
Refixing only of old serviceable GI tubing upto 80 mm dia obtained from Sl Item No 22.00 above after descaling, cleaning and testing for any leakages complete, making the ends threading and suitable for connections in new or old position (walls, trenches, ceiling and floors etc.) all as specified and directed NOTE :- The quoted rate is deemed to be inclusive of necessary T&P and other consumables like Cutter, Axe, Teflon Tape, Shellac, etc and GI/PVC fitting like flanges, Tees, Elbows, Nipples, etc.
Supply and lay pipe galvanized, “Medium class”,80 mm dia including fittings making the ends threading and suitable for connections in new or old position (walls, trenches, ceiling and floors etc.) all as specified and as directed NOTE :- The quoted rate is deemed to be inclusive of necessary T&P and other consumables like Cutter, Axe, Teflon Tape, Shellac, etc and GI/PVC fitting like flanges, Tees, Elbows, Nipples, etc.
Demolition stone slabs and tiles of any description or thickness in floors, aprons etc laid, bedded and pointed in cement mortar complete all as specified and as directed.
Material and labour for Plain Cement Concrete, (1:4:8), type D2 using 40 mm graded stone aggregate as in cement concrete foundations, filling and mass concrete or sub base as directed finished fair and even complete all as specified and as directed.
Material and labour for Machine pressed precast concrete interlocking paver block of any shape and size conforming to IS-15658-2006 of 60mm thickness, M-35 grade with grey cement and no pigment complete all as specified and directed.
All as per above Sl Item No 27 but except pavers, complete all as specified and directed. NOTE :- Old serviceable interlocking paver block obtained from Demolition/Dismantling of Sl Item No. 25 shall be reused."

Material and labour for preparation of old concrete surfaces of any description over 10cm in width or girth and applying one coat of synthetic enamel paint of approved tint complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for 75mm thick Plain Cement Concrete type C-1 (1:3:6), using 20mm graded crushed stone aggregates as in plinth protection finished fair and even without using extra cement complete all as specified and directed. NOTE :- The plinth protection shall be laid in panels and length of the each panel shall not be more than 2.00 metre all as directed, 6mm joints filled with 85/25 grade bitumen and sand (1:3 ratio) shall be provided.
