Excavation in trenches not exc 1.5 m wide and not exc 1.5 m deep for pipe line/cable in soft/loose soil getting out and levelling of bottom surface to required level complete all as specified and as directed.

Returning filling in, including spreading, leveling, watering and well ramming in layers not exc 25Cum thick complete all as specified and as directed.

Removing excavated material from site to a distance not exc 50 mtr away and depositing where directed not exc 1.5mtr from the starting point complete all as specified and as directed.

Taking down any type of old/unserviceable water pipes as actually obtained at site including all fittings with spigot & socket ends and lead/rubber tyton joints including burning out lead joints and recovering lead of the following size of pipe for depositing to MES store yard complete all as specified and as directed. :- Note:- Videography/ Photographic records shall be maintained during execution , retrieval of pipes,proper stacking & measurement .

Supplying, Laying, jointing, testing and commmisioning of DI Pipe as per IS 8329 class K-7 with inside cement mortar lining with spigot and socketed ends laid in trenches complete all as specified and directed at site for the following sizes :-

(c) 200 mm bore

Material and Labour for CI fittings/specials such as Tees of any size and radius,bends, collars, tapers, tail pieces, caps and plugs up to 300 mm bore confirming to IS: 1538 complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and Labour for DI fittings/specials such as Tees of any size and radius,bends, collars, tapers, tail pieces, caps and plugs up to 300 mm bore confirming to IS: 9523 complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for Run lead joint including jointing material for CI/DI pipe of following size/bore complete all as specified and as directed. :-

Supplying and fixing, jointing, testing of CI Sluice Valve of sizes as under , ISI Marked, flanged ends drilled pressure rating PN-1.0, Conforming to IS 14846, having stainless steel spindle with cast iron operation wheel at top including taking out unserviceable sluice valve and deoposited to MES Store yard complete all as specified and as directed. Note:- Flanged joints complete with jointing material shall be deemed to be included in the unit rate of this item.

M & L for construction of valves pit chamber having internal dimension 120cm x 120cm x 120 cm (internal height) using PCC (1:4:8)type D -2 40 mm graded stone aggregate for foundation 15 cms thick, 23 cm thick wall in CM (1:4), 10 mm thick rendering all around the brick work with 1:6 cement mortar PCC (1:2:4) type B1 coping with 20mm graded aggregate for grouting MS frame of size 40x40x6 mm , and comprising of 4 nos hold fast of size (25x3x150 mm )& hinges of size 100mm including 3mm thick MS top sheet cover with locking arrangement including 50 mm pad lock with double key with handle 6mm dia to open sheet,

including painting of steel surface with two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide primers including necessary excavation in any type of soil, returning filling in and removal of surplus soil to a distance not exceeding 50 mtrs all as specified and as directed and as shown on Drg No CWE(U) D-1/86 Sheet 1/1 forming part of tender documents .

M & L for making bore hole under road in hard/dense soil through trenchless technology by HDD (Horizontal direction method) incuding preparing and setting up the plant and equipment, preparing new pipe work like excavation shoring/strutting etc drilling, stringing, reaming and pulling back the new work on the path alignment proper disposal of drilling fluid and the ground penetrating radar survey to protect any existing utilites at the pipe installation location, restoration of site after completion

,all inclusive as per relevant IS and STT code of practice for trenchless technology suiting Indian condition for making horizontal bore of size 400 mm dia suitable for HDPE pipe insertion under road crossing/hard standing including HDPE pipe 300 mm nominal dia, 28.3 mm min wall thickness of grade PE 80 for protection of MS pipe to any depth complete all as specified and directed. Note: MS will be measured and paid separately

Supplying , laying , fabricating, welding & jointing, & testing MS Pipe of size 200 mm bore and 5 mm wall thickness confirming to IS 3589 passing through 300 mm bore HDPE pipe for trenchless / laid in trenches/floor complete all as specified and directed.
