Excavation in trenches in soft / loose soil not exceeding 1.5 metre wide and not exc 1.5 metre in depth and getting out for taking out / laying of GI / CI/DI pipe line and making bottom surfaces of excavation leveled.

Excavation in trenches in Hard /Dense soil not exceeding 1.5 metre wide and not exc 1.5 metre in depth and getting out for taking out / laying of GI / CI/DI pipe line and making bottom surfaces of excavation leveled.

Returning, filling in trenches with excavated soil including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25 cm complete all as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Removing surplus soil / spoil to a distance not exceeding 50 metre away and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5 metre above the starting point all as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

M & L for detecting water leakage/blockages in underground water pipe lines, turning off/On water and draining the system as required, with necessary excavation at location of leakage/blockage and carrying out repair of GI/CI/DI pipe of any size with tightening of loose connection, removing & cleaning blockage, replacement of u/s fittings & repair/replacement of joints, all as specified and direted by Engineer In Charge Note: 1. Excavation & Earthwork, Additional Pipe, Joint and jointing material shall be paid under respective Items 2. GI fittings such as bends, elbows, tees, reducers, short pieces, connectors, backnuts, diminishing pieces, caps, plugs and unions, etc upto 80mm shall be included in the quoted rates.

Construction of valve pit chamber having internal dimension 120 cm x 120 cm x 100 cm (internal height) using 100 mm thick PCC (1:4:8) type D-2 using 40mm graded stone aggregate for foundation, 20cm thick PCC block masonary in CM (1:6), 75 mm thick PCC (1:2:4) type B-1 coping with 20 mm graded stone aggregate including necessary form work for grouting including 3 mm thick MS top sheet cover with locking arrangements, MS frame made out of 40 x 40 x6 mm angle iron including painting of steel surface with two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of redoxide primer including necessary excavation in anytype of soil, returning filling in and removal of surplus soil to a distance not exceeding 50 mtrs, three coats of white wash on plastered/concrete surfaces including demolition of existing valve chamber complete all as specified and directed by the Engr in charge.
