Land slide mitigation measures for prevention of land slide disasters over Gali Ghar on Chamba Sahoo Kiri Road Km. 0/0 to 21/0 (Sub Head Providing shot creting and Construction of protection work at Rd 4/970 to 4/995)

Cleaning of the ground including removing vegetation and inequalities on the slope and disposal of rubbish material upto any lead and lift or as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge including carriage of material with in all leads, lifts and other incidental. Any loss to the public/private property during the course of execution shall be the absolute responsibility of the contractor which shall have to be compensated by him in all cases. The rate is including octroi, royality, Malkana, toll tax, GST and any other taxes imposed by the Government.

Providing and installation of self drilling hollow soil/ rock anchors (SDA) made of 40 (Forty) CR material with outer dia of 38 mm(Thirty Eight Millimeter) and inner dia 19 mm (Ninteen Millimeter) having minimum 6.00 (six) metres length & yield load carrying capacity of minimum 400 KN(Four Hundered KN) in soil/over burdon/ rocks suitable for drilling placing including cement grouting & installation with all accessories such as sacrificial drill bit 76 mm(Seventy Six millimetre) dia, couplers, 10 mm(Ten millimetre) thick base plate of size 200mm x200 mm (two hundred millimetre into two hundred millimetre), nut and bolt complete in all respect and as per direction of Engineer-In-Charge Including carriage of materials within all leads, lifts and other incidentals. The rate is including octroi, royality, Malkana, toll tax, GST and any other taxes imposed by the Government.

Providing & fixing 100mmx100 mm x4 mm thick (one hundred into one hundred into four millimetre ) welded iron wire mesh fabric as per IS-4948-2002 and ASTM-A974 inter connected by lacing wire or special binder of metal coated steel wire used to form flexible , permeable monolithic structures for erosion control, fixed to necessary anchor bolts complete as directed by by the Engineer-in-Charge, including carriage of material within all leads, lifts and other incidentals. Any loss to the public/private property during the course of execution shall be the absolute responsibility of the contractor which shall have to be compensated by him in all cases. Providing and applying 100 mm(one hundred millimetre) thick shotcrete in layers with approved design mix concrete M-25 (M-twenty five) 1:1:2 ( one is to cement one isto sand two is coarse aggregate) and cement content not less than 360 kg (three hundred sixty kilogram) per cubic metre with minimum characterstic compressive strength as per approved design mix with ordinary portland cement, coarse sand and graded stone aggregates of 10 mm(ten millimeter) maximum size in proportion as per the design criteria including the cost of centering and shuttering etcetera as directed by Engineer in Charge. Any loss to the public/private property during the course of execution shall be the absolute responsibility of the contractor which shall have to be compensated by him in all cases.The rate is including octroi, royality, Malkhana, toll tax, GST and any other taxes imposed by the Government.

Providing sub surface drainage pipes (horizontal/inclined) in the slope/ weep holes with perforated PVC pipe (lined with non woven geotextiles) of 75 mm(Seventy Millimeter) internal diameter by drilling and inserting the perforated PVC pipe as per the drawings etc complete as per direction of Engineer-In-Charge. Including carriage of materials within all leads, lifts and other incidentals. The rate is including octroi, royality, Malkana, toll tax, GST and any other taxes imposed by the Government.

Excavation in hilly areas in all heights and depths and in all kinds of soil by manual/mechanical means including saturated soil comprising of ordinary soil, ordinary rock ,soft rock ,hard rock chiseling, wedging out rock(where blasting is prohibited) and their intermediate classification of soil complete including setting out true to the lines, grades, width, cutting and trimming of side slopes and levels as shown on the drawings and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge at site, according to the MORD technical specification section 300 and 1600 and sorting out useful materials and stacking the same within in all leads and lifts in acquired road width and transportation of un-useful materials for filling in roadways camber ,embankments for grade improvements and disposal of all surplus materials to approved dumping sites through all modes of transportation including head load or animal transport or mechanical means alongwith its leveling fine dressing and carriage of machineries ,materials, tools, equipments and safety measures and other incidentals necessary to complete the work by mechanical means and/ labour if required.All useful materials such as stones, shingle aggregate and slates etcetera shall be sorted out and stacked in proper stack. Any loss to the public/ private property during the course of execution shall be the absolute responsibility of the contractor which shall have to be compensated by him in all cases.The rate is including the octroi, royality, Malkana, toll tax, GST or any other taxes imposed by the Government.

Earth work in excavation for all type of road structure such as retaining walls, breast walls, culverts, drains and parapets etcetera in all type of classification of soil, comprising of ordinary soil, ordinary rock , hard rock chiseling / wedging out rocks (where blasting is prohibited) as per drawings and MORD technical specification clause 305 and 1603.4 as per the directions of the Engineer-in-Charge including setting out, construction of shoring and bracing, removal of stumps and other deleterious materials and disposal of materials upto any lead and upto any lift including dressing of sides and bottom and back filling in trenches with excavated suitable / approved materials to the original surface in layers not exceeding 150mm (one hundred fifty millimetre) compacted thickness including shoring and strutting and pumping and bailing out water (surface and sub soil water) upto any depth and any quantum of water including cleaning of slush which may arise out during dewatering as per directions of Engineer-in-Charge including carriage of materials within all leads, lifts and other incidentals. The rate is including the octroi, royality, Malkana, toll tax, GST or any other taxes imposed by the Government.

Providing and laying mechanically mixed and vibrated plain cement concrete 1:4:8 ( One cement is to four sand is to eight graded crushed stone aggregate 40mm (forty millimetre) nominal size on ground or under water including pumping or bailing out water( surface and sub soil water), dewatering for all heights /depths and any quantum of water including removal of slush which may arise at the time of laying concrete for all heights/ depths, including the cost of form work and curing for 14 ( fourteen) days complete in Retaining walls and Breast walls etcetera as per drawings and MORD technical specification section 800, 900 and 1200 and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge, including carriage of materials within all leads, lifts and other incidental. The rate is including octroi, royality, Malkana, toll tax, GST or any other taxes imposed by the Government .

Providing and laying100mm ( One Hundred millimetre) diameter poly Vinyl chloride pipe Weep holes in brick masonry/stone masonry, plain/reinforced concrete abutments, wing walls return walls and retaining /breast walls etc., extending through the full width of the structure with slope of 1 (V) : 20 (H) (one vertical is to twenty horizontal ) towards draining face complete as per drawings and MORD technical specifications section 700, 1200 or as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge, including carriage of materials within all leads, lifts and other incidental.
