Repair, Servicing and checking of 630 Amp, 250 MVA, 11 KV indoor type VCB of any make and type with blower, cleaning of existing HT panel inside with air blower and removing dust particles, CTC/CRC/Thinner as required and recommended by the manufacturer. outside with tighting of all bus bar, nut & bolt, alignment, adjustment of gaps between phase to phase, Checking and tightening of control wiring circuit as charging motor closing coil and tripping coil circuit, Manually tripping testing of VCB, Cleaning, removal of dust and dirt to male/Female contacts, greasing & lubrication all moving fixed part including replacement of minor parts such as spring, washers etc. for smooth mechanical operation etc. complete with testing commissioning as required. Servicing, Calibration, testing of 2 element IDMT relay ( one earth fault one over current) with secondary injection testing of 11 KV /VCB, Operational testing through relay front pad as well as push button, Testing/ Calibration of safety relays through secondary injection kit, Tripping testing of VCB through over current and earth fault relay, Tripping testing through primary injection. Supply, fixing and testing in repalcement motor of vacuum circuit breaker for spring charging including and after taking out old unserviceable one carefully removing all connections and checking all wiring connection and to ensure functioning of other related parts, repair if any minor faults complete all as specified and directed.

Disconnecting all the electrical connections from H.T. and L.T. side of unserviceable transformer of capacity upto and including 315 KVA i.e. Jumpers/cable from the cable end box or bushings & earthing terminal of the transformers including taking down, loading, unloading of transformer & transportation by vehicle from substation to the repairing workshop & transportation from workshop to same substation or any other substation / including reinstallation, commissioning and testing after repair complete all as specified and directed Note : [Repair to transformer i.e rewinding, repair/replacement of spares shall be measured & paid seperately under relevent items of BOQ]

All as per srl item No 12 here-in-above but cap of transformer above 315KVA upto 630 KVA complete all as specified and directed.

Opening the transformer cover along with the conservator by removing the nuts bolts, removing the internal H.T. & L.T. connections from studs, bushings, taking out the core-winding assembly out of the tank, draining & decanting of transformer oil and cleaning of sludge deposited in the tank with CTC. Checking the serviceability of all HT & LT coils. Replace the coils if requires. Heating of core winding assembly in hot chamber for 48 hours and removing all the moisture present in it, Sealing of tank if any leakage by welding, checking of HT & LT bushings, conservator tank, valve, breather assembly and repair if any leakage, refilling transformer oil tand putting the core-winding assembly into the tank, fixing all bushings, connecting all HT & LT wires, reassembling, bushings, replacing gaskets of top cover, fixing top cover , testing the transformer in the workshop duly filled with oil, topping up of oil if required, dehydration of transformer oil to acheive required insulation level of 60 KV in 2.5 mm gap all as specified and directed. Note : (i) Items required for repairs including copper wire/strip required for rewinding of transformer shall be measured and paid separately under relevant item of this schedule. (ii) Transformer oil with die electric strength not less than 50 KV either new or filtered shall be filled and shall be measured and paid seperately under respective item. (iii) Repair of the transformer will be carried out at auth workshop. GE/ AGE E/M will visit to workshop before repair of transformer and certificate of auth workshop shall be submitted by the contractor.

Taking down carefully aluminium conductor of any size from OH Lines (running on 9/11 poles) after unbinding from insulators for replacement of unserviceable conductors, complete all as specified and directed.

Restringing and restretching the aluminium conductor reterived from item No 57 including necessary binding with insulators using alunimium binding wire, connections of incoming and out going cables complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for ACSR conductor of any size drawn straight horizontal on over head lines on poles including binding with insulators using aluminium binding wire, jointing jumpers etc including connections of incoming and out going cables complete all as specified and directed.

Restretching aluminium conductors or GI wire on existing over head lines running on 11 Mtrs poles in-situation by means of unbinding and rebinding with insulator using fresh aluminium binding wire , including jointing all cable connections , binding with spacers where required, complete all as specified. (Note ;- All ACSR conductors and GI guard wire between two poles will be measured as one span)

Trimming up of tree branches upto 5 mtr all around LT overhead lines, removing cut branches from site complete all as directed. Note :- (i) The overhead lines will be kept clear from all trees by trimming of tree branches with 5 mtr all around the line. Necessary permission will be obtained from department by contractor one day prior to trimming in particular area and shut down of that area will be arranged by department accordingly. The trimming work shall be commenced once it is permitted by AGE.(ii) only effective span length i.e length where threat of tree branches with 5 mtr from LT line or neaby HT line shall only be measured & paid under this item. No claim whatsoever shall be entertained by the deptt at later stage. (iii) Fortnightly inspection of lines will be made jointly by contractor or his authorised rep and rep of Engr-in-Charge and outcome whether lines are free from tree branches or not kept on record for payment. (iv) The OH line will be maintained for whole period of contract and full payment will be made with Final Bill only. The payment for the period for which line not maintained will be deducted proportionately based on fortnightly inspection carried out as detailed above.
