Excavation over areas, not exceeding 1.5 mtr deep and getting out in soft/loose soil complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Rolling and consolidating formation surfaces in cutting to required level, gradient and camber with 8 to 12 tonne power roller, watering including filling in depressions and hollows, complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for 150 mm thick (spread thickness) soling (or sub base) with broken boulders or quarried stone (Granite, Trap, Basalt), interstices filled, surface formed, rolled and consolidated to required gradient and camber with 8 to 12 tonne power roller, complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for 150 mm thick (compacted thickness) WBM, in two layers (75 mm thick each layer) with coarse aggregates of Granite, trap or basalt of grading 2 (63 to 40 mm size) or of grading 3 (50 to 20 mm size), spread, rolled and consolidated to required gradient and camber with 8 to 12 tonne power roller, complete all as specified and as directed. (Note:- Each layer shall be rolled and compacted separately)

Material and labour for preparing WBM surface by brushing with wire brush for removing caked mud etc. sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with air pressure through air jet using air compressor to remove all the loose dirt etc. including removing the mud etc. to a distance minimum 1.5 mtrs from edge of road and applying evenly a tack coat of bituminous primer using paving bitumen (VG-10) @ 10Kg per X sqm of road surface by sprayer operated hot pressure mechanism including supplying, laying, spreading 40 mm consolidated thickness of semi dense asphaltic concrete grading 2, maximum aggregate size 9.5 mm, with job mix formula using paving bitumen (VG-30) @ 5% binder content by weight of total mix using mechanical paver for levelling within the specified tolerance as specified in SSR Part-I, rolled and consolidated to required camber and gradient with power roller for uniform smooth surface etc. complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note :- (i) The job mix formula shall be approved by GE. (ii) 5% binder content has been specified for quoting purpose of bid. If the quantity of the bitumen exceeds the 5% as mentioned above, no plus price adjustment shall be made. If the quantity of bitumen required as per job mix formula works out less than 5%, the recovery of the supply only bitumen shall be effected @ Rs. 50/- per Kg. The cost of transportation of material and testing charges shall be borne by the contractor. (iii) Contractor shall intimate the planned date of incorporation of mix in advance to GE. Premix will be approved in writing by Rep of Accepting Officer at plant site before incorporation of the same in the work

Continuous brick edging, with width equal to the width of the brick, laid dry, on end verticaly with bricks as specified in particular specifications Section-II clause 5.2, complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for painting lines, dashes, arrows, letters, marking etc of thermoplastic paint applied Min 6 Kgs /Sqm on new surfaces or previously treated road surfaces with hot applied reflective thermoplastic road marking paint (White / Golden yellow) conforming to MORT&H (clause 803.4) all as specified with 8% Type 1 glass beads using special applicator machine with heating arrangement upto 160˚ C including cleaning and drying the existing road surfaces to ensure dust, oil, grease and moisture free surfaces before applying the paint complete all as specified and directed. Make : Automark or equivalent make given in Appx 'B'. Note: Thermoplastic paint should be applied Minimum 6Kg/Sqm

S&F dual direction delineator 600 mm long made of 16 gauge MS rectangular pipe of size 25 x 68mm, pipe stove enamelled and baked to 120˚ C or powder coated, head made of ABS plastic rectangular moulded with flat face provided with high intensity prismatic reflector of colour (white/yellow/red) of size 100 x 125mm with additional 2 reflective strips of 25mm wide, shade as approved by GE and fixing in cement concrete (1:2:4) type B1 using 20mm graded stone aggregate with size of block 300mmx300mmx350mm deep including excavation and earth work in any strata complete all as directed by Engineer-in-charge. Make:- Cat Part No. GPL/UBPH-11-56 of Greenlite or equivalent Make of 3M/ Dark eye. Note:- Quoted rate is deemed to include cost of PCC & earth work. Nothing extra shall be paid on this account.

S&F two way (dual direction) reflective road studs (Cat eye) of polycarbonate moulded body of dimensions 100mm x 110mm x 20 mm with red / yellow /amber reflective panels and fixing the same on road surface by applying approximately 100 gm Epoxy mixture and placing the cat eye without applying excessive pressure and additional fixed with 12 mm dia and 120 mm long zinc plated steel nail at the centre of cat eye complete all as specified and directed.(Model No DA-52 of Dark eye or equivalent model of 3M/Greenlite)

Removing excavated spoil to a distance not exceeding 50 metre and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5 metre above the starting point complete all as specified and as directed.

Repairs to potholes not exceeding 1 Sqm each including sweeping free from dust and mud, or water, scoring sunken surfaces in roads, paths etc. cutting around edges to at least 25 mm in depth and applying tack coat @ 5 kg per 10 Sqm of paving bitumen (VG-10), putting in premixed bituminous macadam, well rammed and sealed with binder 9.8 kg per 10 Sqm of paving bitumen (VG-30), blinded with 0.09 cum of stone chippings, 6.3 mm size and again well rammed, depth of pot holes exceeding 30mm. Note as per MORTH Specification: (i) Loose material and standing water shall be brushed from the area to be repaired. (ii) Potholes shall be cut to vertical sides and deepened to reach sound material . (iii) Fill the patch with the granular mix in layers of about 75mm at a time. Each layer shall be compacted with hand rammers or with small vibratory compactors. The patch shall be compacted to the correct shape. (iv)100% quantity of Pot holes shall be marked and checked by Engineer-in-charge before commencement of work and shall also be entered in MB with reference to permanent objects before starting carpeting work. (v) Rate quoted by contractor shall deemed to be including of supply of premixed macadam binder and chippings

Supplying, laying and spreading upto 75mm thick or less ( consolidated thickness) premix bituminous macadam (BM) filling in depression grade 2 (using 19.2 mm graded stone aggregate) in single layer with using mechanical paver using paving bitumen (VG-30) @ 3.4 % by weight of total mix with job mix formula, laid / rolled and compacted/ consolidated to required camber and gradient with 8 to 10 tonne power roller to a uniform smooth surface etc. complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note :- (i) The job mix formula shall be approved by GE. (ii) 3.4% binder content has been specified for quoting purpose of bid. If the quantity of the bitumen exceeds the 3.4% as mentioned above, no plus price adjustment shall be made. If the quantity of bitumen required as per job mix formula works out less than 3.4%, the recovery of the supply only bitumen shall be effected @ Rs. 50/- per Kg. The cost of transportation of material and testing charges shall be borne by the contractor. (iii) Contractor shall intimate the planned date of incorporation of mix in advance to GE. Premix will be approved in writing by Rep of Accepting Officer at plant site before incorporation of the same in the work

Note:- (i) The contract sum shall be calculated by deducting the amount shown in Credit Schedule attached to this tender from total amount of Schedule 'A'/BOQ (ii) Page No. 129 of tender documents will be uploaded by the bidders duly filled alongwith cost of tender documents and application otherwise the bid will be rejected.
