Consultancy for Soil Investigation for provision of PR equipment storage facility at New Mangalore

PART -I MOBILIZATION & DEMOBILIZATION 1. a) Making necessary arrangement Mobilization & Demobilization for equipment tools & plant, personnel,etc. required for soil investigation and their removal after satisfactory completion of work, in land including slushy areas. b) Shifting of entire arrangement from one bore to another bore hole location and setting for boring/drilling rig as required (06 Nos Bore holes). PART-II FIELD TESTS 2. Boring 150 mm dia bore holes to any type of soil/Rock to a depth of 15M or upto depth where N >50, whicever is earlier below the ground level by using rotary drill method in terms of IS:1892 (06 Nos Bore holes) (Min depth of boring 12 M) 3. Collection of undisturbed soil sample (UDS) at 3.0m intervals or at any change of stratas in 100 mm bore thin walled tube including waxing, sealing, packing, and transporting to the lab (06 Nos Bore holes). 4. Carrying out Standard Penetration Test (SPT) including collection of disturbed soil samples in bore holes at every 1.50 M depth or any change of strata and submit the report with all requisite data (06 Nos Bore holes) 5. Collecting water samples from all Bore holes

PART -III LABORATORY TESTS as per IS : 1892 (For all 06 Nos Bore holes) 6. Conducting necessary (laboratory) tests on all collected samples (for all 06 bore holes) which includes the determination of: (i) Atterberg limits (ii) Natural moisture content (iii) Wet and dry density (Bulk and saturated density). (iv) Soil / particle size using seive hydrometer analysis (v) Tri-axial shear test C&D (vi) Shrinkage limit (vii)Consolidation test (viii) Crushing strength of rock samples,degree of weathering(CR Value) and ROD of rock samples (ix) Permeability test (x) Chemical analysis on soil samples (xi) Chemical analysis on water samples (xii) Standard and Modified Protocor's density test (xiii) Vane shear test (xiv) Salinity test (xv) Grain size analysis,identification & classification of soil (xvi) Liquid limit, plastic limit, shrinkage limit, plasticity index. (xvii) Shear parameters (C-Phi Analysis) (xviii) Depth of water table below ground level

(v) Bore log details share be as per Appx 'D' of IS: 1892. N values depth wise shall also be shown in bore log details. (vi) If hard soil with lesser than N Values as specified in Table- 1 of IS: 1893 (Part-1) 2016 is encountered, then evaluation of liquifection potential shall be assessed and remedial actions to be adopted shall be specified.
