SPECIAL REPAIR OF ROAD AT DBS DABATHWA UNDER GE (U) E/M MEERUT CANTT

Repair to pot holes, any depth not exc. 1 sqm each incl sweeping free from dust and mud or water, scoring sunken surfaces in roads etc. cutting around edges to at least 25mm in depth and making good by applying tack coat of paving bitumen Vg10/Vg30 5 kg per 10 sqm surface area , putting in premixed bituminous macadam, well rammed and sealed with binder 9.80 kg per 10 sqm, blinded with 0.09 cum of stone chipping, 6.3mm size and again well rammed (including supply of premixed macadam binder and chippings) complete all as specified & directed.

Preparing old black toped surfaces of road by brushing with wire brush for removing caked mud etc. sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the surfaces by mechanical compressor to remove all loose dirt and applying evenly a priming/tack coat with Cationic Bitumen Emulsion (RS-1) @ 0.2 to 0.3 kg per sqm of road surface and laying bituminous premixed asphaltic semi dense concrete 30mm thick (compacted thickness) using binder (Bitumen VG-30 grade 80/120) contents @ 5.0% (approximate) by weight, mixed in Hot mix Plant and laid by using self propelled mechanical paver, rolled and compacted to required camber and gradient to achieve uniform smooth surface with power roller 8 to 12 tonne capacity, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for 150mm thick (compact thickness) WMM in two layers (each layer of 75mm thick), with broken stone corse aggregate ( lime stone/ sand stone/ flint/ quartzite) of grading 2 (63 to 40mm size for 1st layer) and (50 to 20mm size for 2nd layer) grading 3, spread, rolled and consolidated to require gradient, camber, level and super elevation with 8 to 12 tonne power roller complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for applying evenly a tack coat of Cationic Bitumen Emulsion (RS-1) conforming to IS: 8887 at a rate of application of 0.2-0.3 kg/sqm on bituminous surface as specified in Table 500-5 of MaRTH specification for road and bridge works 2013, using mechanica sprayer after cleaning of existing surface complete all as specified and directed.

Repairs to existing damaged/broken bituminous road surfaces in patches using bituminous macadam including brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc, sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the surfaces by mechanical compressor to remove all loose dirt of road surface and laying premixed bituminous macadam using binder (Bitumen VG-30 ) contents @ 4 % by weight of total mix, mixed in Hot mix Plant and laid by using self propelled mechanical paver, rolled and compacted to required camber & gradient using 8 to 10 tonne power roller/tandem vibrating roller to achieve uniform smooth surface etc, complete all as specified and directed

M&L for preparation biruminous surfaces of road and marking 2.5 mm thick cenrtre lines, stop lines, dashes, arrows etc. and the like n exc 10 cm wide on roads pavements with hot applied thermostatic road marking paint of approved colour confirming to BS 3262-1989 with special applicators machine all as per manufacturers instructions complete all as specified and directed

S & F in repair Solar stud with 3 LEDs of red/yellow colour on each side (total 6 Nos) housed in a tough pressure die casted aluminum alloy of size 125x125mm with built in stem of suitable length with LEDs, solar-cells, battery & light sensor duly covered with tough unbreakable polycarbonate transparent sheet on top. Equiped with solar system workable for 2-3 days (night) after full charge of 8-10 hours, fixed on road surface by cutting hole and grouting with epoxy all as per manufacture's instruction, etc complete all as specified and directed.

S & F in repair MS dual rectangular delineator having dimension of 100x1100x20mm approx weight 2-3 kg ,3M dimamond grade type XI DG3 reflective sheet of high intensity reflector (white/black) . All steel parts powder coated to make all weather resistant, including excavation in any strata and embeded in PCC 1:3:6 type C-2 of size 30cm x 30cm x 20cm, etc complete all as specifeid and directed.

Supply and fixing cat eye solar reflective type of metal body alloy of size 100mm x 100mm x 20mm with PAMA striplens reflector of model No. DA 972.0 fixed with and incl MS stud of suitable size as per manufactures instructions complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for milling of existing asphaltic road surface upto 50mm deep with asphaltic milling machine sensor paver and renovla of loose material from the site complete all as specified and directed.

S & F in repair Solar road delineator with 6 LEDs of red/yellow colour housed in plastic body with LEDs, solar-cells, battery and light sensor well protected in polycarbonate sheet; device protected with powder coated wire mesh cage, equipped with solar system mounted over 47mm dia steel tube powder coated of length 1000mm having sheet foot for firm grip to ground. Delineator to have addational reflective bands. Equiped with solar system workable for 2-3 days (nights) after full charge of 8-10 hours, including excavation in any strata and embeding in PCC 1:3:6 type C-2 of size 30cm x 30cm x 20cm, etc complete all as specifeid and directed.
