Kapurpur head gate ( 12 ft x 4 ft) :- Fabrication of Kapurpur head gate on D 10 canal at RD 17468 to regulate irrigation water installed at Kapurpur by way of dismantling of damaged old gate lifting mechanism from the supporting channel and disconnecting the stem rod from the leaf structure. Extracting out the damaged/worn out gate leaf structure with the help of manual labour using tools, tackles and hydra crane after removing accumulated mud/silt around the gate leaf. Carriage of gate structure along with winch machine and stem rod with the help of manual labour using tools and tackles. Loading in mechanical transport and then carriage to workshop. Fabrication of leaf structure of size 12 ft x 4 ft (approx) using the ISMC 100 channel size with vertical & horizontal cross members for support by way of cutting as per required size and then welding using superior quality electrodes. The leaf is to be fabricated with 3 number horizontal supports and 4 number vertical supports at equidistance from each other. The supports should be fabricated out of ISMC 100 channel. Providing and welding the MS sheet of 4/5mm thickness on the frame of fabricated from MS channel . Fabrication of L shaped clamps attaching stem rod attachment during up and downward moment of gate. Fabrication and fitting of 1 no. stem rod from MS bar and then turning, threading, finishing to the original size. Fabrication, providing & fitting of 05 Ton capacity manually operated, worm gear type winch machine along with base plate of 6 mm thickness. Oiling and greasing the gear and bearings mechanism before fitting. Providing and fitting of rain pipe over the winch machine to secure the stem rod and machinery. Loading the gate structure along with winch machine on the mechanical transport for carrying to site of installation. Unloading the gate structure at road side then shifting to the site of installation. Replacement of outer structure of the gate by cutting old and damaged MS channels using gas cutting. Providing, fitting and welding of 2 lengths of 12.5 ft ISMB 100 channels over the canal to support the winch machine. The channel should be welded and grouted over the civil structure. The center of fabricated MS channel structure should be welded with 2.5 ft of ISMB 100 channels on both sides to prevent buckling and to provide standing space while operation of gate. Installation of gate structure by way of lowering the leaf structure into the sliding grooves using skilled manual labour using crane. Drilling requisite no. of holes in hoisting channels at site. Fitting of winch machine on the supporting channel and connecting the stem rod to the leaf structure after ensuring the proper alignment/gravity of the gate structure. Complete painting of gate structure with one coat of red oxide primer and superior quality enamel paint ( Asian paints/ Kansai Nerolac paints/ Berger paints). Complete job includes cost of material, transportation charge, labour charges, crane charges and testing for its smooth operation at site. Kapurpur escape gate I (2.75 ft x 2.25 ft):- Dismantling of damaged winch machine, installed on canal at kapurpur minor gate I from its hoisting. Dismantling of kapurpur minor gate I by removing damaged structure and gate from canal by way of cutting with gas cutter. Fabrication of leaf of gate -32 inches x 27 inches by way of fabrication of inner frame from ISMC 75 channel by way of cutting/ welding using quality welding electrodes at workshop. Providing and welding of 4-5 mm thick MS sheet over the frame of channel structure and finishing the gate structure. Fabrication, Providing and fitting of 2 ton capacity manually operated, worm gear type winch machine with base plate of suitable size and one number stem rod duly treaded along its length for up and down moment of gate. Job includes drilling of holes on top hoisting channels, base plate for fixing winch machine and stem rod. Connecting the stem rod with leaf of gate with quality bolt and nut. Complete painting of gate structure and winch machine with one coat of red oxide primer and two coats of high quality paint (Asian paints/ Kansai Nerolac paints/ Berger paints). Job includes cost of material, tools and tackles, transportation charges, manual labour, painting charges, civil work. Fabrication and replacement of stem rod duly treaded along its length for up and down moment of gate. Fixing winch machine and stem rod. Connecting the stem rod with leaf of gate with quality bolt and nut. Complete painting of gate structure and winch machine with one coat of red oxide primer and two coats of high quality paint (Asian paints/ Kansai Nerolac paints/ Berger paints).
