Providing, Laying, jointing and testing in trenches (to level or grade) G.I. pipes of following dia (H/M class) conforming to IS:1239-2004 (Part - I) (latest upto date amendments) of grade and wall thickness as specified below, suitable to withstand required hydraulic test pressure in randum length 4 m-6 m with plain ends and jointed with MS Flanges conforming to IS:6392-1971 (latest upto date amendments) and welding of flanges as per IS: 816-1969 with electrodes as per IS:814-1991 including required number and size of MS nuts and bolts as per IS 1369-1967 and compressed asbestos fibre jointing gaskets sheet not less than 3.00mm in thickness as per IS:2712-1998. & butt welded joints. Providing, laying, jointing and testing in trenches of Galvanized MSERW Flanged/ Butt Welded pipes including cost of flanged bends of all degrees conforming to IS/ISO 3183-2012 Grade L210 or X or A / L290 or X 42 as per dimensions weight and test pressure mentioned below in a random length of 4m - 6m, The M.S. flanges are to be provided 1% of total joints as per table below conforming to IS: 6392-1971 (latest upto date amendments) and in the Booster Stage 35% of the total joints and welding of flanges with pipes as per IS: 816-1965 with a electrode as per IS: 814-1967 including required Nos. and size of M.S. nut and bolts as per IS: 1369-1967 and compressed asbestos fiber jointing gaskets sheet not less than 3mm thick as per IS: 2712-1965 & 99% butt welded joints by considering minimum three layers and in the Booster Stage 65% of butt welded joints. The pipe shall have zinc coating as per IS:4736 in factory latest with upto date ammendements complete in all respect and including DPT test for joints & manual/ mechnical handling of pipes. The laying of pipe shall confirm to BIS-5822 (with latest ammendments uptodate), including all kind of specials such as bends of all degree to be made from parent tube, short pieces, tail pieces all made from parent tube & complete in all respect within all leads and lifts and to the entire satisfaction as per the directions of Engineer-in-Charge. Designing and Construction ,testing and commissioning of waterTreatment plant 1.90 MLD :- The scope of work includes the construction of 1.90 MLD WTP capacity water treatment plant capable to treat the raw water of the quality specified in the basic design data to produce clear water as per the requirements of CPHEEO manual on water supply and treatment and as specified in basic design data. The treatment flow sheet comprises of Inlet chamber, Raw water tank,cascade aerator, flash mixer,PST/Tube Settler, flow measurement device , Calriflocculator , RSF, Clear water tank and back Wash tank. For coagulent addition proper alum, lime solution tank with proper mechanical mixing and dozing arrangement to be provided as per data sheet.Gaseous Chlorinator is provided for disinfection. Plant building having laboratory, chemical house, attendent room, toilets etc,supply of laboratory equipment,piping,valves mechanical/ electrical equipment electric wiring & panel boards,sanitation, inter connecting paths, site development upto a minimum of 3m from edge of battery limit of plant, retaining and breast walls and fencing including SCADA based complete automation of the WTP displaying water quality parameters such as PH, Turbidity ,TDS and alum/lime dosing as per CPHEEO standards. The firm shall submit the detailed hydraulic and structural design and drawings( 6 copies) for each component of treatment plant which shall be approved by the department before the work is started. The design/drawingsof the mechnical/ electrical equipment & wiring etc. along with manufacturers specification/design also be submitted for approval by the department. On the completion of scheme in all respect the contractor shall test run the plant alongwith the scheme for six months before handing over the same to the department at the cost of the contractor.However,electrical charges shall be borne by the department. During this period the contractor shall run the plant at full rated capacity and produce the resuslts specified as per CPHEEO/ relevant I.S. standards in the presence of Engineer-in-Charge or his resentaive. During this period the daily testing of raw water and treated water samples shall be done. Complete record of the test results and the flow measurements shall be kept during this period. If the performance of various units of the treatment plant is as specified in CPHEEO manual, then the plant shall be formally taken over by the department,otherwise the contractor shall make necessary change / repairs to improve the efficiency of the unit/plant.During trial run period of six months after completion of scheme, the firm shall train the department persons in operating, maintaining the plant.The WTP should be fully automated ( SCADA based) from Raw Water Tank/ Intake to Clear Water Tank. Operation of all the units, valves etc. shall be fully automized based on parameters like flow, level, turbidity to be monitored from the plant building,Sub. Divisional office and Divisional office. Dozing of chemicals like Alum etc. and Chlorine shall also be fully automated. The automation should allow operation of valves, pumpps, air compressor for back wash of filters automatically.Provision for on line monitoring of water quality parameters such as ph, Turbitity, Residual Chlorine of Raw Water and Clear Water shall also be included.(Data Sheet-14)

Booster Stage:- Providing & Installing of suitable submersible pumping set of KSB / calama/johnston/crompton/BS/SABAR Oswal / Kirloskar make conforming to latest relevant BIS Code 8034:1976. The pump should be fitted with bronze impeller or suitable alloys suitable for handling clear water having greased packed bearing and shaft with wound stator on motor side and with soft protection sleeve on pump side ensuring better life for shaft coupled to a submersible squirrel cage electric induction motor of 3 star rating (water proof cage electric induction motor of 3 star rating (water proof type of required HP & 2900/1450 rpm of reputed make conforming to BIS 9283-1979 Latest with upto date imendments, totally dust and water proof for sumersible duty isolated from the pump by intermediate casing with double mechanical seal in oil chamber and grease packed lubricated bearing and provided with stainless steel thrust bearing plate to with stand non vertical loads with minimum wear and tear. It Should also be fitted with a devise to take up expansion of water with the heating of motor. with automaton system including.The Power of Electrical motor/ motors should be at least (+) 10% in Excess of maximum power required by pump/pumps in the operation range of (+) 10% and (-) 15% of the duty point head. All Electrical equipments such as starter,ICTP Switches,MCB,Bush bar chamber,MCB,Panel board indicating lamps, Ammeter,Voltmeter, Hour run meter should be of electronic type and fully automated based on SCADA. The pump set should include water level guards,erection clamp,cable clips,depth gauge NRV & Sluice valve (Cast iron PN 1.6 Leader/Kirloskar & flanged GMS/GMSERW for lowering of column pipe. The work should be completed to the entire satisfaction of the Engineer in charge The Rates are for complete job to run the machinery in proper working and should meet with requirements.Energy efficiency level of the motors should be minimum IE2. The pumping machinery shall be fully automated (SCADA based) with VFD panel alongwith motor PLC system on eathernet flow meter, level switchs and pump interface complete in all respect and shall be capable of starting and switching off as per the requirement of water and factors like water levels in the intake/ sump and storage reservoir, time, power availability to be monitored/ operated from pump house/ Plant Building, Sub. Operation and maintenance of Scheme for five years from source to main/sector storage tank/gravity main, distribution mains etc. through SCADA based automation system and to keep all structure/machinery/ facility to proper working O&M includes the regular i.e daily supplying of designed /required quantity of water to the benefiaries of the scheme from above mentioned source to main / sector storage tanks at different location as per plan and repair and maintenance of main lines , gravity lines and entire distribution mains of scheme, regular maintenance of all the facilities i/c cleaning, washing oil and greasing repair, replacement of wornout/ damaged parts of pumping machinery, pipe lines valves and electrical mechanical requirements regular cleaning of all structure like collection tank, storage tank, pump house etc.and disposal of same as per the direction of Engineer- in- Charge. Fixing/ repairing/ leakage in civil structure, pipe line, pumping machinery etc. proper distribution of water. Maintaining log book of running of pumping machinery. and keeping regular and proper record of water demand . Rooting of unwanted grass, shrub, weeds etc.growing near the structure and keeping the area neat and clean to the entire satisfaction of engineer- in -charge. Planting and maintenance plant of flowers/ trees around the pump house storage tank etc. as per the entire satisfaction of Engineer-in Charge i/c the cost of procurement of adequate and proper tools and plants , skilled and unskilled manpower, spare parts, oil/grease/lubricants, and making stand by arrangement all times, instrument,equipments, stationery and any other material etc. required for O&M excluding the cost of energy charges. All the operation shall be carried out as per the JSV specification & JSV norms direction issued by the Engineer-in -Charge from time to time and sound Engineering practice. The O&M part will commence from date of completion of successful trial & test run period of 6 (Six) months after physical completion of all components of the work.
