Preparation of detailed project report including recommendation of repair methodology/ specification and detailed estimate to ensure further safety life of the building duly vetted by IIT for the following buildings:-

Structure -1: 'E' Block (Basement+G+11 Storied)

Structure -2: 'D' Block (Basement+G+3 Storied)

Structure -3: 'F' Block (Basement+G+3 Storied)

Structure -4: ABC Parking Area (Basement)

The Scope includes the following amongst other:- Visual inspection and photography performing a visual survey of the bldg and recording/maping on drawing to assess extent of spelled concrete, cracked concrete, honey combing, reinforcement corrosion, delaminated concrete etc, taking photographs and videos to collect evidence of damage to structure to recognise the type of structural defect/ settlement if any.

Ultrasonic pulse velocity test for RCC structure in accordance with IS:1311 Part-I 1992 by portable ultrasonic non destructive digital test equipment including chipping out plaster

Rebound hammer test:- Rebound hammer test in accordance with IS: 13311 Part-2 1992 by portable ultrasonic non destructive digital test equipment.

Core test:- Core cutting and compression test for RCC structure in accordance with IS:516 on RCC members, 70mm core cutting in reinforcement concrete, core filling by specialized epoxy material/ micro concrete with bond coat.

Carrying out Pull-out test at site including drilling hole upto 200mm in column/beam at all heights and levels, cleaning the hole with water pressure jet, inserting steel bars of max 750mm length, filling hole by Hilti chemical grout of HIT RE-500 for different bar dia, all complete as directed by Engr-in-Charge. (Test load shall be given at the time of testing depending upon the grouting length and grade of concrete, testing shall be done by the manufacturer of chemicals as per their specifications and as directed by Engr-in-Charge).

Chemical test for RCC structure in accordance with IS 456 2000 using ready made kits and reagents. Sample collected witll be from half cell/ carbonation powder. (i) Determination of PH Value. (ii) Determination of water soluble sulphates. (iii) Determination of water soluble chlorides contents.

Half cell potential test for RCC structure in accordance with ASTM C876 half cell potential to assess the probability of corrosion of reinforcement and corporation test as pre BS-1881-201-1986.
