Regular tower to tower ground patrolling & tower top patrolling (whenever required) of approximate 283.7 Km. of 220KV lines. Patrolling work consist of detection of the defects like missing / theft tower members, hot point, punctured/flashed over insulator disc, dislocation of vibration dampers/damaged conductor/earthwire, checking of foundation/stubs, & position of trees in the corridor of 35 meter of the lines, removing of nests from the tower. . 1. 220KVDC Harduaganj-Mainpuri line----128Kms 2. 220KV DC Harduaganj-Khurja line------43Kms 3. 220KV DC Harduaganj-Jahagirabad line----49Kms 4. 220KV DC Harduaganj-NAPP line LILO@ Atrauli----46Kms 5. 220KV DC Sikandrarao-Akrabad- -------- 17.7 Kms 6. 220KV Harduaganj-Mainpuri Ckt.-I line at 220 KV Sikandrarao-- 1.7 kms
Opening/Cutting of nut bolts of remaining cut pieces of tower members stolen by miscreants to be opened/cut safely with the help of gas cutter/hacksaw blade including all required labour and T&P for proper completion of work satisfactory.
Fabrication & fixing of tower parts/members from scrap galvanished MS angle including cartage of steel, angles from the substation store, punching holes, proper tightening of nut & bolts, punching chamfering of bolts at different location of above transmission line.
Tack welding of new nuts & bolts.
Strengthening/replacement of damaged jumpers at tension towers.
Replacement of damaged/punctured insulators string at different tower locations including cartage of material from store to work site of the above line.
For Suspension string
For tension string
Tightening of jumpers of above mentioned 220 KV lines at tension tower on both side.
Lopping, chopping and cutting of trees branches in the 35 meters corridor of above lines and stacking of above cuttings at proper place away from the line.
Repairing of damaged ACSR Zebra/Deer conductor by using repair sleeves.
Preventive maintenance/breakdown maintenance of damaged/broken Zebra/Deer conductor by binding & fixing Mid span compression joints including lowering down of conductor and Mid span compression joints and restring of the same upto 3 Kms.
Preventive maintenance/breakdown maintenance /tightening of damaged/broken/loose earthwire/OPGW upto 1 km.
Emergency patrolling of above mentioned 220 KV lines in event of tripping/breakdown to find out location of fault.
