The initial & final setting time confirming IS 12269 - 1987 ( 2004 ) with maximum temperature of concrete at the time of placing should not exceed 32 0 C. Providing Lift gate for new veeranam regulator in Kattumannar koil of vent size 6.10m x 2.52m including the skin plate of the shutter shall be made up of 12mm thick Steel Plate and 4 nos of horizontal Girders made up of ISMB 300 at the centre to centre distances of 450mm, 480mm and 670mm from bottom to top respectively. The top of the shutter covered with and top channel with ISMC 200 to the total width of the Gate. The bottom most girder is 150mm above the bottom of the shutter where bottom seal flat shall be fitted. All the Vertical Stiffeners in between horizontal girders 10 nos shall be made of 12mm thick and 300mm wide steel plate welded to the webs of the horizontal girder 10 nos and in four columns at required intervals. The vertical stiffeners 10 nos at the bottom of the lowest horizontal girder shall be made of 10mm thick and 300mm wide at beam side and 55mm at Outer Edge for 150mm height at required intervals.The End vertical stiffeners shall be made of 12 mm thick mild steel plate two numbers of size 300mm x 2520mm on each side and shall be fixed with 3 Nos of CS rollers at each end of 300mm dia and 230mm thick at centre and 100 mm thick at end shall be provided with Bronze bush of ID80mm OD 95mm with a wheel pin 80mm dia made up of CR steel IS1570 of 335mm length provided with grease nipple fixed to the end verticals with 16mm thick base plate and support plate made up of 12mm thick mild steel plate firmly welded to the end verticals to the correct alignment for smooth operation. The Bottom seal made up of 75x12mm flat rubber seal covered with 75x12mm mild steel flat and the side seal on upstream side made up of Z seal covered with 65 x 12mm mild steel flat. The bottom and side seals fixed with the gate by means of drilling holes in the skin plate and cover flats in same alignment at 100mm C/C and fastened with M16 Bolt, Nut and Washers in correct alignment and position. The top of the end verticals both side corrected with 25mm thick mild steel plate provided with holes for fixing shutter lifting shaft. The shutter lifting shaft two numbers made up of 50mm dia MS rod for 975mm length with hexagonal nuts 1 no and with check nuts 2nos on both sides . The shutter lifting plates on both sides, welded at the top of the lifting rod made up of 40mm dia thick MS plate of size 110mm x 300mm welded with the top of the lifting shaft firmly with 8mm fillet weld on both sides by using welding equipments and recommended welding electrodes. The welding shall be done as per standard procedures and the burr and slag shall be removed by grinding the top of the welds. A good weld is as strong as the base metal. A Suitable electrode shall be chosen and welded with a good welding equipment and a trained welder. All non-metallic substances shall be removed in the weld joints before commencement of welding. After welding, a thorough visual inspection shall be done for porosity blowholes, unused welds, unfiled craters, under cutting, burning & poor weld appearance, etc. Then all steel surfaces are cleaned of dirt, grease, oil, welding spatter, etc by abrasive blast cleaning and then a coat of anticorrosive zinc rich primer shall be given. After a curing period of 12 hours a coat of coat tar epoxy shall be given over which another coat shall be applied at an interval of 24 hours. Then the shutter shall be loaded and transported to the site, unloaded & erected with cranes and with other hoisting equipments as directed by the departmental officers. The cost includes cost of all materials, cost of consumables like welding rods, grinding wheel, oxygen & acetylene gas, diesel & oil for generator, process charges like gas cutting, welding, loading. lifting. unloading and charges for sand blasting, transport, erection, scaffolding and hire charges for equipments like cranes chainpulley block, welding machine, cutting set, grinding machine, Generator, conveyance of equipments to site and clearing them after completion of work, including cost of trial operation, warranty for 5 years, etc, complete as directed by the departmental officer and as per the drawings.
Design, fabrication, supply and erection of embedded parts consisting of sill beam made up of 200x100mm mild steel joist provided with anchor angle made up of 50x50x6mm mild steel angle of 0.30 m length at required intervals and on the top welded with 75x6mm SS 304 grade flat for the total length .The shutter grooves made up of ISMC 250 two numbers on both sides for a height of 5750mm with connecting angles made up of 65x65x8 mm MS angle 8 nos of 500mm length on both sides. The groove angle and connecting angle fixed with masonry by anchorage angle 8 nos each for a length of 0.30m and the groove channels connected with sill beam with 100x100x10 mm mild steel angle on both side of 250mm length. The groove channels should be fixed to the plumb pop position by using necessary hoisting equipments like crane, chainpulley etc and also with necessary scaffolding arrangements. The cost includes cost of all materials, cost of consumables like welding rods, grinding wheel, oxygen & acetylene gas, diesel & oil for generator, process charges like gas cutting, welding, loading. lifting. unloading and charges for sand blasting, transport, erection, scaffolding and hire charges for equipments like cranes chainpulley block, welding machine, cutting set, grinding machine, Generator, conveyance of equipments to site and clearing them after completion of work, warranty for 5 years, etc, complete as directed by the departmental officers.
Design,Manufacture supplytransfort delivery at site and erection of electrically oprated wire rope drum hoist of 10 MT capacity for the Lift Gate of vent size 6.40m x 2.52m as per IS 6938-2003 and as per the drawings given . Each one rope drum on either side of the hoist is provided and operated by a single electric motor . The hoist consist of hoist rope drums, electric motor, electro-magnetic brake worm reduction unit 3 stages of spur gear reduction line shaft with plumber block & bearing hand operating arrangements with clutch assembly, panel board dust proof covers wire rope , rope socket guide wheels and support frames etc complete . than the hoisting arrangements painted with two coat of recommended colour over one coat of red oxide primer . Fabricating, Supplying and Erection of Operating platform of size 7.70m x 3.30m consist of Longitudinal support beam 2 nos made up of ISMB 400 fixed at the both ends with Bearing plate of 20mm thick and Base plate of 16mm thick of required sizes and Providing cross support channels of deck bridge portion with ISMC 150 for a length of1.82m at an interval of 0.50mm and cross stiffners with 100 x 50 mm MS channel at required plains by using welding equipments operated with power generators.After welding the channels, painting all portion of the beams, channel except on top with two coat of AC black paint over one coat of red oxide primer.Then cutting the new 5mm thick chequered plate for required sizes by using cutting equipments and conveying them to the deck bridge by using heavy manual labors and hoisting equipments.Placing the chequered plates over the support beams and channel in correct alignment and position with required gap for welding. After placing the plates welding the joints and welding the plates with support channel at the ends with welding machines operated with power generator. After doing welding providing drain holes at required places by using magnetic drilling equipments operated with power generators.After completion of work painting the chequered plate with two coat of anti corrosive black paint over one coat of red oxide primer. The cost includes cost of all materials, process charges like gas cutting, welding, machining, scaffolding charges, labour charges for dismantling, loading, lifting, unloading, transport, erection, labour charges for equipments like crane, chain pulley block, power charges from generator, risk allowance for working at a height of more than 3m, conveyance to site and clearing them after completion of work including, warranty for 5 years etc., complete and as directed by the departmental officers.

The GI Pipes is to be fixed through the holes provided in the angle and extended with GI specials. The GI Pipes is welded at all holes rigidly with power electrodes. Inner side of protection arrangements a protection grill made up of 1" square weld mesh with 25x25x6mm MS frames to be fixed to the vertical posts with required bolts and nuts The protection arrangement is to be painted with two coats of enamel paint of approved color over one coat of zinc chromate primer.
