Excavation in hilly areas in all heights and depths and in all kinds of soil by manual/mechanical means including saturated soil comprising of ordinary soil, ordinary rock ,soft rock ,hard rock chiseling, wedging out rock(where blasting is prohibited) and their intermediate classification of soil complete including setting out true to the lines, grades, width, cutting and trimming of side slopes and levels as shown on the drawings and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge at site, according to the MORD technical specification section 300 and 1600 and sorting out useful materials and stacking the same within in all leads and lifts in acquired road width and transportation of un-useful materials for filling in roadways camber ,embankments for grade improvements and further disposal of all un-useful materials to approved dumping sites through all modes of transportation including head load or animal transport or mechanical means alongwith its leveling fine dressing and carriage of machineries ,materials, tools, equipments and safety measures and other incidentals necessary to complete the work by mechanical means and/ labour if required.All useful materials such as stones, shingle aggregate and slates etcetera shall be sorted out and stacked in proper stack. Recovery of stones to the tune of 2544.43 ( Two thousand five hundred forty four decimal four three) cubic metre quantity @ Rs. 300/- only ( at the rate of rupees three hundred ) only per cubic metre shall be effected from the contractor’s running bills on pro-rata basis as per actual quantity executed. Any loss to the public/ private property during the course of execution shall be the absolute responsibility of the contractor which shall have to be compensated by him in all cases. Loosening of the ground upto a leavel of 300mm (three hundred millimetre) below the subgrade level watered graded and comacted in layers to meet requirement of tables 300.1 and 300.2 for subgrade construction as per Technical specification section 300 as per or as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge ,including carriage of material within all leads, lifts and other incidental. Providing, laying, spreading and compacting to 75mm (seventy five millimetre ) compacted thickness, graded, broken /crushed stone aggregate, for Grading-III, 53mm to 22.4mm (fifty threemillimetre to twenty two point four millimeter) nominal size to water bound Macadam, specification including spreading in uniform thickness using template, hand packing rolling with three wheel 80-100 (Eighty to one Hundred) kN static roller in stages to proper grade and camber including applying and brooming stone screening ,type-B, 11.2 mm (eleven point two millimetre ) at the rate of 0.18 (Zero point one eight) cubic meter per 10 (ten)square metre(ten square metre) of road surface to fill up the interstices of coarse aggregate, watering and compacting to required density Grading-III as per MORD technical specifications section 400 or as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge including carriage of materials with in all leads, lifts and other incidentals . Providing and applying Primer Coat with bitumen emulsion (SS-I) on the prepared surface of granular base including cleaning of road surface with hydraulic brooms and spraying primer at the rate of 0.85 kg (Zero point eight five kilogram) per square metre of road surface using bitumen emulsion pressure distributor complete, as per MORD technical specifications section 400 or as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge including carriage of materials with in all leads, lifts and other incidentals. Providing and applying Tack Coat with bitumen emulsion (RS-I) on prepared surface of granular base including cleaning of road surface and spraying primer at the rate of 0.275 Kg. (Zero point two seven five Kilogram) per Square meter on the prepared granular surface treated with primer and cleaned with hydraulic brooms/ complete as per MORD technical specifications section 500 or as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge including carriage of materials with in all leads, lifts and other incidentals . Providing and laying bituminous concrete 30 mm (thirty millimetre) thickness with 100-120 (one hundred- one hundred twenty) TPH batch type hot mix plant producing an average output of 75 (seventy five) tonnes per hour using crushed aggregates of specified grading, premixed with bituminous binder at the rate of 5.5% (five point five) percent of mix filler transporting the hot mix to work site, laying with a hydrostatic paver finisher with sensor control to the required grade, level and alignment, rolling with smooth wheeled, vibratory and tandem rollers to achieve the desired compaction as per MORTH specification clause No. 507 complete in all respects and as per the directions of Engineer-in-Charge including carriage of material within all leads, lifts and other incidentals. Construction of un-reinforced, dowel jointed at expansion and construction joint only, plain cement concrete pavement, thickness as per design, over a prepared sub base, with 43 (forty three) grade cement or any other type M30 (M-Thirty Grade), coarse and fine aggregates conforming to IS:383, maximum size of coarse aggregate not exceeding 25 mm (twenty five millimetre), mixed in a concrete mixer of not less than 0.2 (zero point two) cum capacity and appropriate weigh batcher using approved mix design, laid in approved fixed side formwork (steel channel, laying and fixing of 125 (one hundred twenty five) micron thick polythene film, wedges, steel plates including levelling the formwork as per drawing, spreading the concrete with shovels, rakes, compacted using needle, screed and plate vibrators and finished in continuous operation including provision of contraction and expansion, construction joints, applying debonding strips, primer, sealant, dowel bars, near approaches to bridge/culvert and construction joints, admixtures as approved, curing of concrete slabs for 1 4days using curing compound (where specified) and water finishing lines and grade as per drawing and MORD Technical specification clause 1501 as per the directions of Engineer-in-Charge including carriage of material within all leads, lifts and other incidentals.
