ANNUAL/COMPREHENSIVE MAINTENANCE OF DG SETS, GLOW SIGN BOARD, FIRE FIGHTING EQUIPMENTS AND OTHER MISC WORKS AT TECH AREA UNDER GE (I) R and D KANPUR.

Comprehensive maintenance including periodical servicing & reguler inspection of DG sets of following capacities by the authorised technician / service engineer of OEM or their authorised service dealer, checking the mechanical and electrical healthyness of the diesel engine and alternator, routine servicing of the DG set including cleaning & replacement of air filter, changing of fuel filter and lub oil filter as per schedule, minor adjustment of control parameters, tracing out the defects and replacement of defective spares including taking out the old unserviceable one to keep the DG set healthy and serviceable as specified and directed by Engr in Charge at site. Notes :-

(a) Spares will be measured and paid separetely here in after as applicable. (b) The DG set to be inspected and maintained at least once in a month on reguler interval as prescribed by the OEM and additional attendance for maintenances on as required basis are to be carried out. Maintenance of DG Sets are to be planned and carried out in a staggered manner so that more than one DG Set of any one installation is not brought under maintenance at a time. (c) In case, any abnormality found in between normal routine inspections, the service personnels must attend the service call urgently within 24 hrs. (d) The unit rate quoted includes servicings on monthly basis for entire contract period. (For overhauled DG Sets, monthly servicing will be measured on completion of 2 months or 250 Hours run after overhauling - whichever is earlier. Service charge will not be paid for DG Sets laying off road continuously for more than 10 days in a calender month. (e) Apart from these routine servicings, major repair/replacement if any will be measured and paid separetely available within the scope of this schedule. (f) Certain spares either will be measured as supply only as mentioned in the schedule here in after against corresponding items or will be issued by the department as per availibility in store under Schedule 'B' free for fixing. (g) A Log Book indicating the details of all types of repairs and maintenance carried out time to time has to be recorded by the contractor's rep, / supervisor and endorsed by JE and AGE regularly. The contractor's rep / supervisor will monitor the serviceability of all the DG Sets daily and give report to JE and AGE . This register is required to be produced at the time of claiming payment.

(i) 500 KVA DG set, Make : Cummins, Loc:- Near P- 43 Bldg for Lab in Tech area.

(iii) 320 KVA DG set, Make : Cummins, Loc:- Nano lab in tech Area.

(iv) 125 KVA DG set, Make : Cummins, Loc:- Near Polimer Lab in Tech Area.

Repair of PT (Pressure time) fuel pump by dismantling and segration all parts, replacement of new parts such as filter screen shut down valve, valve elbow, pulsation clamp, idle adjusting screw, high speed spring governer plug etc in replacement of existing U/S parts re-assembling the pump after repair/ replacement of parts, calibration for DG set of capacity 60 to 320 kVA & testing on completion.

Repair to rediator assy cleaning washing throughly, descaling and M&L for replacement of rubber size pad and MS Nut & bolts including brazing / repair of cooling tubes with dismantling and segregation upper and lower chamber (tank) including and reassembling complte incl nut, bolt, washer & spring any type of DG set capacity 60 to 320 kVA complete

Dismantling and taking out battery charging alternater assembly suitable for up to 320 KVA DG Set and replacement of wornout spare parts like field coil, rotor assembly, corbon brush, rectifier assembly and bushes etc including servising and refixing complete all as specified.

S&F in microprocessor digital typr DG set controller of DG set of capacity 100 kVA to 320 kVA (Make of DG set Cummins & Greaves cotton) including connect all control wiring & programming all the parameter related to DG set at site complete.

S&F in replacement of automatic battery charger AC input 230+10% V output DC for 12/24 volt battery current 10-15 Amp for 2 Nos battery at a time with digital ammeter & Voltmeter .

Disconnecting incoming / outgoing cable connection from alternator of up to 500 kVA DG set and taking out from DG set room checking carefully and transporting to auth workshop for repair and rewinding of alternator dismentling into parts and cutting the burnt/damage copper winding wire from alternator / stator cleaning slots and rewinding the stator/alternator with super enamelled copper winding wire of existing gauge & size and insulation paper etc complete varnishing of rewinded alternator replacement of carbon brush set bearing set etc complete and transporting the alternator to DG set room coupling with DG set and testing complete include water load test all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge. NOTE: All neccessary T&P for dismantling,transporting and installation cost is deemed in this work

M&L for replacement of coolant for DG set of make : Castrol/ Indian Oil/ equivalent.

M&L for replacement of Engine oil 15W30/20W40/15W40 (As per OEM recommendation) complete all as spfd make : Valvoline/ others only recommended by concerned DG set OEMs

Material and labour for repair of LED glow sign board any size including replacement of acarlic/PVC sheet , letters any type and paisting with glue, including adapter qand wire of requried size if required at site complete testing and fixed at existing location all as required and directed at site

Removal of unwanted vegetation/bushes/small plants shrubs around the water/electric supply installations/ inside the valve pit and surface excavation not esceeding 15 cm depth leveling the ground and removing the excavated material to a distance exceeding 50 M.

Excavation in trenches in any type of soil n exc 1.5 mtr in width and n. exc 1.5 mtr in depth and getting out all as required for laying of cables,foundation filling of poles or stays and for rerouting of cables.
