CERTAIN REPAIRS TO ROAD AT TIMBER POND/BOAT BASIN PROJECT AREA INSIDE PORT TRUST, CHENNAI UNDER GE(I) CG CHENNAI

Repair to pot holes any depth of area not exc 1.00 sqm each including sweeping free from dust and mud or water, scoring sunken surfaces in roads, paths etc. cutting around edges to at least 25 mm in depth, making good by filling in screened & graded road metal, watering and well ramming including supply of road metal filling and compacting with road roller complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for Premix bituminous, macadam with 4.0% binder content by weight of total mix using Paving Bitumen ,any penetration of viscocity VG 30 , laid/rolled and compacted to required gradient and camber (Consolidated thickness of 75 mm )complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for preparing black top surfaces of road by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc, sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour applying evenly a priming/tack coat with bituminous primer using paving bitumen of viscocity VG 10 at the rate of 5 Kg per 10 Sqm over black top surface complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for Bituminous Premix Semi dense Asphaltic concrete using hot mix plant 40mm thick consolidated thickness with 5.5% binder content by weight of total mix using paving bitumen of viscocity VG 30, levelled,rolled wtih 8 to 12 tonne tandem vibratory roller and compacted to required camber and gradient using Mechanical Paver complete all as specified and as directed. Note:The binder content is indicated tentatively and shall be as per acutal mix design.The rate of bitumen for adjustment purpose shall be as per the rate in purchase voucher.

Material and labour for road marking strips, lines ,dashes arrows,zebra crossings , letters etc of 2.5mm thick(reflective type) on new surfaces of road/pavements and the like exceeding 10 cm wide with hot thermo plast material @5 kg/sqm of white or golden yellow by applying with fully automatic paint applicator machine ,fitted with profile shoe,glass beads dispenser by providing drop on glass beads @ 0.25 kg/sqm applying with propane tank heaters and profile shoe heater etc driven by the skilled opearator on road surface complete all as per MORTH specifications complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fix Solar Road studs with stem made up of highly compressive aluminium alloy and polycorbonate of size 125 mmX 125mm X 20mm (height ) with built stern nails 37x37x55mm long for fixing with epoxy, 6 LEDs sustain 10 tonnes weight , water resistant, self illuminating in dim areas or during night time, Solar rechargeable batteries for continual performance without much maintenance, super bright LEDs with viewing distance of 500-800 m, equipped with prismatic reflective lense on each side complete all as specified and directed. Material and labour for Plain cement concrete 1:2:4 type B-1 (using 20mm graded stone aggregate) in foundation walls or retaining walls , any thickness size or shape including pilasters, buttresses, column pillars boundry pillars and posts complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for SS work for sign board of size 1.20mX0.90m, made out of stainless steel sheet 2.24mm thick, cut to size incuding writitng letters and welding to join the sheet with SS steel square bars 25X25mm bars on all sides, top and bottom with screw end to faciliate hanging of SS steel Sheet using bolts,nuts and washers, arrangmenet on 2 Nos SS tubing post 32mm dia medium grade 1.80 mtr high from top of PCC base and grouting to cement concrete 1:3:6 (40mm grade stone aggregate) size of base not less than 1400X450X15mm, drilling holes into SS tube pipe for screwing bolts nuts and washers complete all as specified and as directed. (Note: Board Background should be blue and letters are white with specified height and width)
