Outsourcing of services for operation, maintenance and control of sluice valves, butter fly valves and gate valves of various sizes, totalling to around 100No at Technical Area including monitoring supply of water from the Pump House to the over head tank and distributing to RCI Technical area for 26No of buildings and obtaining the signature in the register from the users for ensuring sufficient quantity of water received including satisfactory attending of the complaints pertaining to non receipt of water in any building due to low pressure or problem in valves or any line damage etc., informing major breakdowns, repairs etc., to the concerned AGE E/M and arresting leakages/over flows from the valves by replacing glands, gland rope, nuts, bolts & washers, gaskets, spindle, check nuts, gate valves, etc., by providing One Valve Man per shift of 08 hours for two shifts in a day on all days including Sundays and Holidays complete all as specified and directed.

All as per Sl item No. 1 above but at Residential Area for operating various sizes of valves for supply and distributing water at the following locations: (i) 2 times in a day by operating 02 No valves at Type 'A', 12 No valves at Type 'B', 5 No valve at Type 'C', 5 No valves at Type 'D', 01 No valves at Lab School, 01 No valve at Shopping Complex, 02 No valves at Type 'S', 02 No valves at DSC. (ii) 3 times in a day by operating 4 No valves at Type 'E', 4 No valves at Type 'H', 02 No valves at Officers Mess, Guest Houses / PMO office by providing One Valve Man per shift of 08 hours for three shifts in a day on all days including Sundays and Holidays complete all as directed.

Outsourcing of services for operation of External Water Supply distribution system pertaining to Water Supply Installation/Pump House/Valve chambers etc., comprising of GI/CI/DI/MS pipe lines of various sizes, maintenance of the valves including arresting leakages by replacing glands, gland ropes, nuts, bolts & washers, gaskets, spindle, check nuts, etc., at various locations for all buildings of Technical Area at RCI upto Service Tanks including maintenance of the float valves, control valves to check the serviceability and carrying out repairs to provide satisfactory supply of water to the buildings, cleaning of service tanks, house keeping, cleaning the surrounding area of Installations by providing One Pipe Fitter and Two Helpers per shift of 08 hours for One shift in a day on all days including Sundays and Holidays complete all as specified and directed.

All as per item No 03 above but at Residential Area, Guest Houses, Officers Mess, PMO Office, Lab School and DSC lines area by providing One Pipe Fitter and Two Helpers per shift of 08 hours for one shift in a day on all days including Sundays and Holidays.

Outsourcing of services for operation and maintenance of the pumping installations at Main Pump House, Metro Pump House including operation of pumps, control valves, checking/replacing worn out glands, gland ropes, nuts, bolts & washers, lubricating / greasing of the bearings, checking and tightening the terminal plates, starters, fuses, switches etc., including maintaining records of pumping i.e. details of water received / pumped, chlorine dosage, PH testing by providing One Pump Operator per shift of 08 hours for 3 shifts in a day on all days including Sundays and Holidays all as specified and directed.

Notes for the serial item No 1 to 5: All T&P required for operating, repair and maintenance are deemed to be included in the unit rate quoted.

All stationary for Duty Roster, Attendance register, Wages register, Log sheet book, maintenance record etc., shall be arranged, maintained and submitted by the contractor to Engineer in charge in the first week of every month.

Any loss due to negligence, faulty operation shall be made good by the contractor without any extra cost to the department.

Wage period shall not exceed one month. Wages for all workers employed shall be paid before 7th day of every month through bank account without fail irrespective of whether RAR is claimed or not.

Non compliance on the part of contractor for not making payment of wages to workers as stipulated above shall attract penalty at the rate of Rs 100.00 per shift per worker from RAR/Final Bill. No claim whatsoever on this account will be entertained.

Minimum wages, EPF, ESI, Bonus etc., to the workers shall be paid by the contractor as per Regional Labour/PF Commissioner, Gazette Notification including DA all as authorised.

Labour elements for fixing spares/parts mentioned in this schedule as supply only shall be deemed to include in the unit rate quoted.

The complaints received from the users shall be duly enclosed in the register with docket number and complaint slip has to be maintained with user signature after satisfactory attending the compliant as a token of completion indicating showing the spares replaced wherever applicable.

The workers employed by the contractor for outsourcing shall be entitled for one day weekly off and the contractor has to provide suitable substitute in the concerned shifts. The unit rate quoted shall be deemed to include for this provision.

Supply only 15mm bore steel water tubing, medium grade, galvanized, ISI marked complete all as specified.
