Notes for Sl item No 31 to 36 :- (a) The contractor will be allotted complaints at MES complaint cell on requirement basis on all working days including Sundays and holidays and sufficient tradesman / resources will be deployed by him/her for completion of day to day complaints within 12 hours from the time of reporting. Any delay beyond above mentioned time limit without intimation of genuine cause, penalties will be recovered twice of the quoted rate for each un-attended complaint. (b) A detailed log book of complaints with completion/non-completion remarks from users/MES will be maintained by the contractor and the same will be updated on daily basis in consultation with JE E&M/Engr-in-Charge. (c) The contractor will make suitable arrangement for emergency complaints and will notify authorised representative/Engr-in-Charge about extraordinary circumstances for probable non-completion or delay in rectification of complaints beyond stated time limit set for disposal of complaint. In case of any dispute the decision of accepting officer will be final and binding in this regard.

(d) The contractor will intimate MES authority well in advance if electric shutdown is required during rectification of complaints. (e) The quoted rate is deemed to be inclusive of transportation and other expenses required for the resource deployment at the complaint site around scattered Military station at Secunderabad. (f) The contractor will maintain location wise record of each spare/fittings utilized as per inventory format given by AGE E/M, Secunderabad and the same shall be submitted to E/M No II store yard on requirement basis. (g) The stationery required for the job work such as complaint slip books, gate pass book, job card and T&P shall be arranged and maintained by the contractor. (h) The cost of excavation / earth work above 1 CUM measured and paid separately under relevant items. j) Contractor is responsible for repair/replacement of any damages to the existing structures, Under Ground HT/LT/OFC Cables etc during the course of execution. (k) Spares/GI fittings required to be replaced and shall be measured and paid separately under respective items.

Rectification of leakages in pumping /delivery lines(CI/DI/PPR/MS) of size 80 mm to 100 mm at Military area / Military Roads /civil Roads /PWD Roads /Cantt board roads by taking necessary permission from respective authorities by excavating PCC/RCC/pavement/soft & hard soil/rock of any depth by using necessary T&P(Excavator/hammer drill)as per the requirement, De-watering from the trenches by using pump sets, rectification of leakages, fixing of CI/ DI specials such as collars, bends/tail pieces, any type of gasket , welding work etc as required to arrest the leakages completely and making joints, filling the trenches , site clearances and PCC at the top portion as required complete all as specified and as directed. Note:-(i)CI specials, lead Joints, D-Joints, Clamp joints, DI/CI Pipe etc shall be measured and paid under respective items of BOQ. Supply and fixing in replacement of DI D/F Gate valve (Soft Sealed) Resilient Seated Soft Sealing gate valves( Sluice valves RAISING TYPE) with body bonnet of ductile cast iron of grade GGG-40/SG- 400/15 or GGG-50/SG-500/7 or equivalent grade as per IS 3896 - Part 2- 1985 and subsequent revisions, Wedge fully rubber lined with EPDM Food grade quality and Seals of NBR and the valve should be vacuum tight and 100 % leak proof with face to face dimension as per BS 5163-89/IS 14846-2000/DIN 3202 F 4. and Valves should be electrostatic powder coating both inside and outside pocket less body passage class PN 1.6 including all jointing materials (Gasket, Nut bolts etc) connecting and testing complete all as specified and directed. M&L in repairs for Construction of new PCC solid Masonry valve chamber of size 1500 X 1500 X 1500 mm (Internal dimensions) with PCC foundation 1:4:8 type D2 using 40 mm graded stone aggregate 150 mm thick 150 mm wide off sets around over 100 mm thick hard core , 200 mm thick PCC solid block walls built in CM 1:6, 50 mm thick PCC 1:2:4 Type B1 coping finished even and smooth, rendering 10 mm thick in cement mortar (1:6) finished even and smooth, without using extra cement internally including top of floor including excavation earth work in hard/Dense soil 3 mm thick MS sheet cover fixed on 40 mm X 40 mm X 6 mm thick angle iron frame with hold fasts embedded in PCC coping with locking arrangement, mild steel handle and painting to steel surfaces with two coats of synthetic enamel paint over one coat of primer including disposal of surplus soil to a distance not exceeding 50 m etc complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for painting of water distribution header including all control valves and all exposed pipe of any size by using synthetic enamelled spray painting after scrapping /cleaning complete all as directed .

Supply and lay in repairs MS black tubing ERW welded including specials , having outside dia of 212 mm and 6 mm thick ISI marked conforming to IS 3589 - 2001 with plain ends complete including connecting of MS pipes and specials by welding, leak testing of pipe line laid in trenches / floors / walls / ducts complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge.
