REPAIR/ MAINTENANCE OF TRANSFORMERS AND HT DISTRIBUTION SYSTEM IN CITY AREA, ALWAR

M&L for disconnecting, lifting, loading and transportation of unserviceable transformer indoor/outdoor type 11000/433 Volts of capacity 63 KVA to 160 KVA from site to workshop for repair/rewinding and repair to the transformer by dismantling the top cover and removing unserviceable tap changer and draining out entire unserviceable transformer oil and removing all unserviceable parts such as HT/LT side bushings, nuts, bolts, washers, gasket set etc and removing all burnt LT/HT side coil from the core, rewinding the LT and HT side core complete with same size of copper wire in HT side and copper strip from LT side with suitable insulating materials, nuts, bolts, washers, gasket set etc, heating the new transformer winding in special heat chamber for demoisturising of LT/HT coil, connecting the LT/HT coils, filling the fresh transformer oil, re-assembling the transformer, transporting/shifting back the transformer at site after repairs, re-commissioning & testing, including applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint of approved tint after preparation of all external surfaces of transformer, complete, all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note;- (i)The quoted rates shall deemed to include for the transportation, T&P, Labours from site to workshop and workshop to back at site after repairs, cost of gasket set, nuts, bolts, washers, insulating material, copper wire for delta connection etc. Dielectric strength of Transformer oil shall be tested at site in presence of Engineer-in-charge. (ii) All other spares such as tap changer, copper wire & copper strip for rewinding, HT/LT side bushing, transformer oil & air breather assembly with silica gel shall be measured and paid for separately as “Supply only” under respective items of this Schedule.

Tap changer assembly complete with operating handle suitable for transformer of capacity 63 KVA to 160 KVA.

Air breather assembly filled with silica gel suitable for transformer of capacity 63 KVA to 250 KVA.

Restraining/tightening of existing HT over head ACSR conductor of any size upto permissible sag in between existing span including GI earth wire, clamps, cradles etc. including new 2mm dia aluminium binding wire complete all as specified. Note :- The length of each conductor shall be measured & paid for. The rate quoted shall be for one conductor.

Supply, installing, testing and commissioning of Air-break, gang operated, triple pole switch, outdoor, horizontal mounting type (ISI marked), manually operated, mounted on insulators for current rating upto 400 amp complete with fuse mounts, fuse carriers and HT fuse elements and frame work with operating mechanism worked from ground level, with locking arranegments including Godrej pattern 65mm pad locks with two keys, complete suitable for HT 11 KV, 50 Hz AC supply including necessary electric connections including taking down unserviceable air break switch, complete all as specified and directed.

Supply, installing, testing and commissioning of Air-break, gang operated, triple pole switch, outdoor, verticle mounting type (ISI marked), mechanically operated, mounted on insulators for current rating upto 400 amp complete with fuse mounts, fuse carriers and HT fuse elements and frame work with operating mechanism worked from ground level, with locking arrangements including Godrej pattern 65mm pad locks with two keys, complete suitable for HT 11 KV, 50 Hz AC supply including necessary electric connections including taking down unserviceable air break switch, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for drop out fuse assembly (expulsion fuse) ,triple pole ,complete set of three with insulators -06 Nos & connected accessories for current rating upto 200 amps capacity ,11000 volts complete all as specified & directed includind dismantling & taking down old U/S drop out fuse assembly, complete all as specified and directed.

S & F Pin type porcelain vitreous brown/white insulator with approved make including one galvanised MS spindle two GI Washers and GI nut of size 150 mm height and 150 mm dia 11000 Volt grade including taking out old U/S pin insulator complete all as directed

Cutting/ trimming of tree branches not exc 10cm girth touching/approaching the HT OH lines with hacksaw/axe to clear the HT line including disposal of unserviceable material to a location as directed within Defence area & clearing site complete all as directed. NOTE:- 3 mtr width on each side (measured Horizontal and Vertical both) of HT line shall be cleared.

M & L Painting to all existing cross arm, clamps,channels etc with one coat of aluminuim paint including preparation of surfaces complete all as directed. Fixed on following structure :-

Supply and fill transformer oil ISI Marked confirming to IS-335 of 1993 with 40 to 60 KV dielectric strength filled in transformer at various locations complete refixing of top cover and testing as directed. Note :- Dielectric strength of the oil to be tested at site in presenece of Engineer-in-charge without any extra cost and recorded the same.

Note . (i) straight through joint shall be payment in respective item in schedule . (ii) Execution work & returning filling work include quoted rate.

Supply & fixing Demand Controller -01 No complete all as specified and directed. Make;-Sycon model No-4300 SS or ISI marked.

Supply & fixing Contactor 400 Amp,FP -01 No. complete all as specified and directed. Make:- L&T model No -MNX-400 or ISI marked.

Supply & Fixing MCBs TPN, 6 Amp, complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for earthing complete with galvanized steel earth plate 60 cm X 60 cm X 6.3 mm thick buried vertically in ground to depth not less than 2.25 metres deep below ground level, with top edge of earth plate not less than 1.5 m below ground level, connected to galvanized strip 32 x 6 mm earth lead by means of bolts, nuts, check nuts and washers of galvanized iron or steel besides welding at all joints as shown in drawing and including excavation and earth work, GI pipe light grade 40mm bore for protection of strip and connected to continous earth lead on pole/test point, supplying and laying charcoal dust common salt PCC 1:2:4 type B1, chamber and MS angle iron frame 40x40x3mm and RCC cover 40mm thick (1:2:4) type B1 using 20mm graded stone aggregate reinforced with 6mm dia round bars @ 75mm C/C both ways with MS handle 12mm dia, PGI funnel and wire mesh, 20mm dia GI pipe medium grade for watering all as shown in electrical plate No 3 on srl page No 497 of SSR Part I (2009) drawing and connection to earth test point including testing complete all as specified and directed Notes :- (i) Outer edge of earth pit shall be 1 metre away from the outer edge of PCC chamber. (ii) The cost of earth lead /strip and GI pipe for protection of earth lead/strip upto 7.5m is included in the quoted rate. (iii) The cost of excavation, earth work is included in the quoted rate.
