Schedule 'A' Part-III (Section-II) (Lightening Protection)

M&L for earthing complete with galvanised mild steel earth plate electrode of size 60cm x 60cm x 6mm thick, buried directly in ground (earth pit not less than 2.25mtr deep below normal ground level) with top edge of the plate not less than 1.5 mtr below normal ground level, earth plate surrounded by 15cm thick packed layer of charcoal and common salt alternativey upto 90cm and connected with and including GI wire of 4mm dia by means of bolts, nuts, check nuts and washers, 15mm bore GI pipe light grade from earth plate upto testing point for protection of wire and 20mm bore GI pipe medium grade with wire mesh and funnel for watering including necessary excavation and earthwork, PCC chamber (1:3:6) type C-2 with RCC cover, complete all as shown in electrical plate No. 03 of MES SSR Part-I (2009) and as specified. Notes :- (a) RCC pit cover shall be precast of RCC (1:2:4) type B-1 40mm thick reinforced with 8mm TMT bar @100c/c in lieu of CI cover. (b) Earth electrode shall be protected upto test point using necessary arrangement with suitable GI pipe and rate shall be inlcuded in the unit quoted rate. (c) Earth pit chamber and RCC cover shall be painted with synthetic enamel red paint over a coat of primer.

M&L for fixing of epoxy electric insulator BMD 40 for mounting of earth continuity conductor, complete all as specified and directed.

Schedule 'A' Part-V (Section-II) (External Water Supply)

M&L for brick masonary valve pit of size 30cm x 30cm x 30cm (internal dimensions) with earth work in any type of soil, PCC M-10 type C-2 as in foundation, 23cm thick bricks wall built in cement mortar 1:6, 15mm thick plaster in cement mortar 1:4 on internal and external surfaces. Flooring shall be 40mm thick in PCC M-15 type B-2, laid over and including 75mm thick hard core of broken stone or boulders not exc 63mm in size. Top cover shall be made out of 5mm thick MS sheet fixed in angle iron frame made out of angle of size 40x40x6mm with two number of MS hinges on one side and locking arrangement at other side with 50mm pad lock complete including painting with two coats of synthetic enamel paint over one coat of red oxide primer on all steel surfaces, complete all as specified and directed.

Cutting the existing GI pipe line of 25mm bore and insert Tee joint of size 25x25x25mm for taking of branch connection, complete all as specified and directed.

Schedule 'A' Part-VI (Section-II) (Sewage Disposal)

M&L for on site LLDPE septic tank (conventional type) designed to carry sewage and sludge water, excavation in any type of soil, PCC 1:4:8 type D-2 below foundation, vent shaft, connection etc., capacity for 10 users, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L soakage well, excavation in any type of soil, foundation in PCC 1:3:6 type C-2, walls of honey combed masonry with top rings of M-25 cement concrete including intercepting chamber and screen chamber made of brick masonary in cement mortar, RCC cover slab in M-25/ SFRC cover, interconnecting pipe of RCC/ DWC complete with filled with brick bats of size 1.2 mtr x 3 mtr, complete all as specified and directed. Schedule 'A' Part-VII (Section-II) (Area Drainage)

M&L for cement concrete 1:4:8 type D-2 (using 40mm graded crushed stone aggregates) as in bed to drain pipes including packing under and completely surrounding pipes with concrete after they are laid and tested, for 450mm bore pipe, complete all as specified and directed.

Schedule 'A' Part-VIII (Section-II) (Security Fencing and Gate)

S&F concertina coil fencing with punched tape concertina coil, 750mm dia 10 mtr openable length (total length 90 mtr) having 50 Nos rounds per 6 mtr length, spring core wire (2.25mm thick) of high tensile strength of 165 Kg/ Sqm with tape (0.52mm thick) and weight 43.478 Gram/ Mtr and fixing the same with existing 'Y' shape angle iron placed 2 mtr apart and with 6 horizontal RBI (Reinforced Barbed tape) wire, stud tied with GI staple sand GI clips to retain horizontal including necessary bolts, complete all as specified and directed.
