NOTE APPLICABLE FOR ALL ABOVE ITEMS i.e. SER ITEM NO 1.00 TO 5.02 : (a) All foundation & other civil works required for installation of outdoor RMU shall be measured & paid separately. (b) Touch proof termination kits as a part of RMU Termination Kits, to be supplied alongwith RMU only & it is the responsibility of the RMU OEM to consider it under warranty (contractor may note the same pl). (c) Metering is required as a part of RMU. Therefore suitable CTs / PTs should be provided by the contractor as required & contractor's quoted rates are deemed to be inclusive of the same.

M&L for earthing complete with copper earth plate 60cmx60cmx3.15 mm thick burried directly in ground (earth pit not less than 2.25 mtrs deep below ground level) with top edge of the plate not less than 1.5 meters below normal ground level connected to copper strip 20X3mm by means of bolts nuts check-nuts and washers of galvanized iron or steel as shown in electrical plate No 3 of MES schedule Part-I connecting to earthing test point and testing on completion with including 15mm bore light grade GI protection pipe and watering pipe shall be 20 mm bore, medium grade including excavation & earth work in any type of soil & disposal of soil, providing alternate layers of charcoal and common salt, construction of PCC earth chamber in 1:3:6 type C-1 with 40mm thick RCC 1:2:4 type B-1 cover, reinforced with 8mm TMT bars 100mm C/C both ways with life hook made out oof 8mm dia bars, watering arrangement with funnel & wire mesh, complete all as specified and directed. Dismantaling pin insulators any type any size complete all as specified and as directed.

Dismantaling disc insulators 33 KV (3 x 11 KV in series) any type any size complete all as specified and as directed.

Dismantaling of ACSR conductor complete all as specified and as directed.

NOTE:- All the old material retreived against BOQ item Sr. No. 16 to 21 above shall be removed from site & deposited to AGE E/M Yard and the same shall be deemed to be included in the quoted rate in respective items.

Excavation in trenches, not exceeding 1.5 m wide and not exceeding 1.5m in depth; for foundation etc or for shaft, wells, cesspits, manhole, pier holes, laying of cables, etc. n exc 10 sqm on plan and n exc 1.5 m depth and getting out in any type of soil complete all as specified and as directed.

Removing excavated material (soil obtained from excavation) not exceeding 50 m and deposting where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5 m above the starting point complete all as specified and directed.

Returning, filling in including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25 cm with soil obtained from excavation complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L, Sand cushioning/sand covering for underground cable protection including compaction, etc complete all as specified and as directed. Note - Only punning thickness of sand shall be measured for payment purpose.

Supply & laying unreinforced precast concrete cable cover class HV type 2, flat shape, dimension 450 mm X 180 mm X 40 mm as per IS 5820: 1970 complete all as specified and directed.

Supply, fixing & laying, in repair, 150mm bore, GI tubing, medium grade with one socket both end threaded in any length including cutting threading connection in new or old position and with all types of GI new fittings, laid in trenches/wall/ceiling/ floor etc complete all as specified and directed.

Excavating in post holes (or similar holes) each n exc 0.5 cu. m, getting out, returning, filling in and ramming earthor broken rubble mixed with earth around, in layers not exceeding 25 cm in hard dense soil complete all as specified and as directed.
