Supply, installation, testing and commissioning of silent type diesel engine driven generating set with governing class G2 including sound reducing canopy (sound level not more than 75 decibal from 1 mtr distance) 14 gauge as per guideline issued by central pollution control board, 415 volts, 3 phase, 50 Hz supply suitable for giving an output of 62.5 KVA after considering derating factor confirming to IS-1601 at 5430 feet (approx) altitude above mean sea level and capable of operating between temperature range (-) 20 degree centigrade to (+) 40 degree centigrade (at Srinagar, J&K) and alternator of suitable capacity and RPM coupled with each other with flexible coupling mounted on common base plate on anti vibration pads on foundation as recommended by manufacturer. (a) Alternator: Directly coupled with engine and suitable to produce 415 volts, 3 phase 4 wire system, 50 Hz, 0.8 power factor @ 1500 RPM of capacity 62.5 KVA all as per IS-13364 and upto date amendments with H class insulation self excited, self regulated, screen protected drip proof type with two end shield ball/roller bearing with damper winding in each pole all as specified and directed. (b) Engine : Water cooled diesel engine (CPCB norms compliance) developing min 84 BHP or as recommended by the manufacturer for 5430 feet altitude having self start engine (including batteries with provision of charging the batteries and leads) suitable to drive above specified alternator complete with foundation (foundation design as per OEM), as per IS-10001/10002, coupled directly through flexible coupling, multi cylinder four stroke, cold starting, 1500 RPM industrial type with AI electronic governor suitable to regulate speed of DG set from No load to full load complete with fuel tank of capacity as per manufacturer recommendations, fuel lines, exhaust pipe duly insulated with asbestos rope and with support and silencer mufflers etc for continuous operation and standard accessories, sump pre heaters, cold start kit etc all as specified and directed. (c) Canopy : Canopy enclosure shall be powder coated and fabricated out of power coated after passing through seven tank process 16 SWG CRCA MS sheet and lockable doors should be provided in canopy with lockable fuel filling arrangement provided external to the canopy. The exhaust system and noise suppressor shall be provided with thermal insulation by using fire retardant/non igniting foam to prevent excess heat radiation on the engine and safe for operator. Absorption type non resistance residential silencer shall be provided to suppress exhaust noise from the engine. (d) Alignment and fuel tank : Alternator and engine aligned on a common 14 SWG CRCA MS base frame complete with MS fuel tank, fabricated out of 16 SWG CRCA MS sheet and is part of base frame. M & L for Earthing complete with galvanised steel earth plate, electrode, 600x600x6.0 mm thick burried directly in ground (earth pit not less than 2.25m deep below normal ground level) connected to GI strip 32x6mm thick by means of nuts, bolts, & washers of GI as shown in electrical plate No. 5 of SSR Part-I Connected to earthing ten point all as specified and including necessary earth pit PCC 1:3:6 chamber, 50mm thick PCC 1:2:4 chamber cover with 8mm dia mild steel reinforcement of 10 cm c/c spacing both ways in lieu of CI cover, watering arrangement shall be made with GI pipe light grade of 20mm dia including funnel and protection to earth lead shall be provided with GI pipe light grade 15mm dia upto 7.5 from the earth plate electrode & refilling of soil etc including necessary excavation & earth work in any strata complete all as specified and directed.
