Repairs / Maint of LT Panel board/ feeder pillar box of various sizes including disconnecting all incoming and outgoing connection after taking necessary shut down, cleaning the carbon/rust from bus-bar, re-thimbling with new lugs/thimble of existing size,replacing burnt DMC insulator or bus bar supports as per exsiting one, removing old burn out wiring and re-wiring with new cable of exsiting size, including replacement of un-serviceable parts and hard ware, replacement of all rusted nut bolts with new steel nut bolts and washer, wrapping of existing incoming and out going cables whose PVC insulation gets detoriated, cable to be wraped with insulation tape (minimum three layers over one another on detoriated portion) with colour code (Red, yellow blue for phase and black for neutral) complete all as specified & directed. Note :- (i) Cost of unsheathed multistranded copper conductor for internal wiring like connection of CTs and DMC insulators are deemed to be included in quoted rate. (ii) Suitable size of cable lugs to be provided by contractor for fixing /jointing the cable in bus bar etc. (iii) Cable gland if required shall be provided and included in cost of repair. Preparation of the old decorated existing external and internal steel surface of feeder pillar boxes/LT panels of any description, any size and in any position by thoroughly cleaning of dirt, fluxing material, other foreign matter and sand papering the surface to remove all scale and rust,wiped finally with mineral turpentine to remove oil, grease and including removal of disintegrated & deteriorated paint either by hand scrapping or by blow lamps, applying necessary filler coat and stopponf required and applying two coats of synthetic enameled paint over a coat of red oxide primer by using spray machine on old prepared surface and writing MES serial No with approved colour code complete all as specified and dircted by engr in charg Note (i) Painting to be done after carrying out all the welding work for replacement of hinges, door lock etc. (ii) Painting shall be done by spray gun. (Approximate minimum area : 40 sqm)

M&L for taking shut down including repairing of feeder pillars out door type by providing connectors, copper lugs, nuts, bolts, etc of suitable sizes for incoming and outgoing UG cables including proper LT insulation tapes to cables which are deteriorated and cleaning the internal area of panel, cleaning the rusted parts by WD-40 and replacing the damaged spare parts like nuts, bolts , screws etc with new one including repairing of panel doors by welding broken hinges, providing new hinges where old hinge rusted and repairing the door locks / providing new locking arrangement including taking out incoming and out going cable burried in undergound cutting and providing new aluminium lugs and reconnected to bus bar/ MCCB`s/MCB`s all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge. Note : (i) Feeder Pillar box in which repairing of internal wiring, welding of doors not required and not covered under respective item here-in-before above shall be measured under this item.
