Mechanical and civil maintenance work Mettur workshop premises for period of 1 year

1) Maintaining Water supply to Workshop premises and Workshop colony quarters area daily including lifting the Pump assembly and related works as and when the reservoir level receeds and as directed by the Engineer in charge.

2) Clearing of Scrub Jungle inside workshop and central store area including cost of all labour charges, lead, lift etc. complete

3) Sweeping and mopping of the SE office floors (flooring with ceramic / marble /granite tiles) steps, staircases, handralls with scented cleaning agents including clearing and disposal of waste papers daily.

4) Sweeping and cleaning adjoining contiguous uncovered space within the Workshop circle premises for 15 days in a month as directed by the Engineer in charge including all lead, lift etc., complete.

5) Thorough cleaning of the cob web on the roof inside and out side the workshop, office and common areas in shed, twice in a month as directed by the Engineer in charge including all lead and lift etc., complete.

6) Cleaning of water tank in the workshop area twice in a month including cost of cleaning materials as directed by the Engineer in charge including all lead and lift etc., complete.

7) Cleaning of open drain around the workshop premises twice in a month as directed by the Engineer in charge including all lead and lift etc., complete.

8 a) Up keeping of toilets by cleaning Water closets, Urinals, Wash basins etc.by applying disinfectants and detergents such as Phenol, bleaching powder, naphthalene balls, cleaning stainer etc.for two cleaning per toilets per day as directed by the Engineer at site including cost of all materials such as brooms, mugs, buckets and brushes, labour charges, lead,lift etc, complete but including cost of Phenol, bleaching powder and water which will be supplied by the department at free of cost.

8 b) Sweeping and mopping of the Toilet floors (includes cleaning of wall tiles, Doors / Ventilators and removal of Cobweb)

9) Disposal of Garbage and debris at municipal yard by using tractor at a distance of 3 kms from workshop premises as directed by the Engineer in charge including labour charges, lead, lift etc., (No.of trips).

10) Collecting and Loading of garbages and debris by using JCB inside the workshop premises as directed by the Engineer in charge including labour charges, lead, lift etc.,

11) Removing undesirable matter from rails,flange grooves (or)from railway parts e.g removing grass plants ,from contact rails, removing mud from flage grooves

12 a) Earth work excavation for foundation and depositing on bank with initial lead of 10m & initial lift of 2m as directed by the Engineer in charge including all Labour charges, Lead, Lift, T&Ps etc., complete.

12 b) Providing Random Rubble soling with filling crusher dust as directed by the Engineer in charge including cost of all materials, labour charges, curing, T&P, leads, lifts etc., complete

12 c) Providing P.C.C. 1:4:8 using 20mm HBG metal for over a soling as directed by the Engineer in charge including cost of all materials, labour charges, curing, T&P, leads, lifts etc., complete

12 d) Refilling with excavated earth well -watered and consolidated in layers of not more than 150mm thick in foundation and basement as directed by the Engineer in charge including all Labour charges, Lead, Lift, T&Ps etc., complete Providing P.C.C. 1:4:8 using 20mm HBG metal for over a soling as directed by the Engineer in charge including cost of all materials, labour charges, curing, T&P, leads, lifts etc., complete
