REPAIR AND REPLACEMENT OF EARTHING INFRASTRUCTURE AND OTHER CONNECTING ITEMS AT VARIOUS LOCATION UNDER GE NAGROTA

M&L in replacement for earthing complete with galvanized steel earth plate electrode of size 60cm x 60cm x 6mm thick buried directly in ground (earth pit not less than 2.25 meters below ground level) with top edge of earth plate not less than 1.5 meters below ground level surrounded on all sides by 150 mm thick charcoal & common salt starting from ground below earth plate upto 150mm above GI plate in alternate layers connected to galvanized earth strip 32x6 mm by means of nuts, bolts, thimbles, chuck nuts, washers of GI or steel, PCC (concrete chamber of size 300 mm x 300 mm x 300 mm inside dimension) shall be PCC 1:3:6 type C-1 using 20mm graded stone aggregate with fair finish , internal surface of concrete chamber shall be given 15mm thick plaster in CM 1:4, funnel with wire mesh of 22 gauge, 80 mm thick PCC pit cover 320 mm x 320 mm of RCC 1:2:4 type B-1 using 20 mm graded stone aggregate reinforced with XPM, JALLI pit all as shown in electrical plate No 3 of MES SSR Part-I (2009) as specified including provision of 40mm bore medium grade GI pipe for earth strip protection and 20 mm bore for watering complete , all excavation and earth work & connecting the earthing to an earthing test point /LT Panel/Transformer as specified and testing on completion for desired result complete all as specified and directed . Note :- Digging for earthing allowed only through man power but not through JCB.

Supply and fixing in replacement aluminium strip 25 x 3.15 mm with saddles and fixing screws etc. for roof conductors and down conductors above ground, complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fix in replacement of GI strip of size 25 x 4 mm for earth continuity conductor or main earthing lead fixed to wall burried in ground fixed alongwith poles complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fix in replacement of GI strip of size 32 x 6 mm for earth continuity conductor or main earthing lead fixed to wall burried in ground fixed alongwith poles complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fixing in replacement GI earthing continuty conductor wire of 4mm dia with saddles/ insulators and fixing screws for roof/ down conductors/ earth lead including brazing and nut bolts jointing at all joints for building/ hangar (roof/down conductor)/ pipe/ trench complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for recharging of earthing pits by filling of Water soluble earth soil reactivation earthing compund in earthing pits complete all as specified and directed. Note:- (i) Earth soil reactivation earthing compound brought by the contractor for incorporation in the work shall be received through a proper receipt voucher which shall be entered in MB. (ii) Recharging materials shall be soluble in water and to be filled/ poured in earth pit after mixing in water in appropriate quantity. (iii) Contractor will have to submit purchase voucher and test certificate for the same before payment

S&F in repairs 12 mm dia and 300 mm long air termination, single pointed aluminium rod , complete all as specified and directed.
