M&L for Maintenance and servicing of standby DG Set complete including draining out of diesel from tank, cleaning the tank thoroughly and refilling the drained out diesel, draining out engine oil from the sump, cleaning the sump thoroughly and refilling the sump with new engine oil to it’s required level, replacing the fuel filter, lubricating oil filter , checking & cleaning air cleaner, changing air cleaner elements, checking coolant level & make up the same, drain the fuel filter & water separator, filling the starting batteries with electrolyte/distilled water to maintain the required specific gravity, replacing the unserviceable brass connectors for batteries, cleaning of battery terminals & applying petroleum jelly to battery terminal posts & brass connectors, including M & L for V Belts, checking of exhaust leakage, governor, breathers etc, adjust/set the same for proper functioning of DG Set, checking of fuel, oil and water coolant level etc, adjusting and keeping the fan belts to the desired tension, tightening all the bolts and nuts to the required torque etc, cleaning the DG Set with accessories as prescribed by the manufacturer and test for satisfactory running of DG set for two hour at connected load and record shall be made in respect of RPM, oil pressure , oil temperature , coolant temperature, voltage , frequency , load current , battery charging , fuel consumption etc complete all as specified and directed for 10/18/20/25 KVA D G set of Make as per existing and/or available at site in any position complete all as specified and directed.

Note :- (i) Engine oil for refilling shall be measured and paid Separately (ii) Coolant for make up shall be measured & paid separately (iii) Testing will be carried out in presence of Engineer - in - charge and DHPP consumption shall be entered in PRRB. (iv) The Make of Fuel filter , Oil Filter , V belt & component will be as per manufactures recommendations ( rate of fuel filter, oil filter, air filter and V belt shall be included in quoted rate.) (v) Servicing of DG sets shall be carried out through representative of authorised agency.

Maintrenance & Servicing of AMF panel of any description and in any position, of 30 KVA to 63 KVA capacity DG set by opening of AMF Panel, checking AC/DC circuits, Tightning of all Power / control wiring connection and replacement of unserviceable control wiring with 1.5 Sqmm, single core, copper conductor, flexible, PVC insulated, unsheathed cable suitable upto 1100 volts confirming to IS-694, taking out, removing and replacement of unserviceable parts / spares / items, reassembling the panel & fixing the same in position and testing the AMF panel on full load after completion of repairs complete all as specified and directed. Note : (i) The quoted rate deemed to include for fixing the serviceable parts in position and replacement of unserviceable parts with new parts.
