PART - A : HVAC SYSTEM : Design, manufacturing, supply, installation, testing & commissioning of modular type Variable Refrigerant Flow/Variable Refrigerant Volume air cooled Outdoor units working on R-410 A/CFC Free refrigerant. The system shall be suitable to operate on 3 phase, 380-415 V, 50 Hz AC supply and shall comprise of all inverter compressors, confirming to the technical specification. The outdoor units of VRV system should be compatible with RoHS Directive. It should be compatible with all type of indoor units like cassettee units, Hi-wall units, False ceiling mounted units, floor mounted units etc. 'The outdoor units should consist of VRV combination as per manufacturer std. air cooled condenser with each unit comprising 2 or 3 nos High COP Compressors of which all should be a Variable Speed compressor, condenser fans which have high external static Pressure with fan grill, fan motor & controls. The Outdoor units should also include microprocessor control panel, internal control and power wiring, internal interconnecting refrigerant pipes, charging ports, system required standard refrigerant charge, high efficiency heat exchange coil, oil seperator, accumulator and all other required accessories, hardwares shall be enclosed in a single enclosure(s). The entire unit shall have weather resistant powder coating paint for withstanding all ambeint conditions for continous operation and the units shall operate at noise levels of 70 dB(A) or less. It shall have ease of maintenance by incorporating Automatic Test Function, Memory Function for operational data and centrally controlled as per cooling zones. The system shall be compatible for microprocessor control by being connected with a separate corded central controller for each cooling zone or set of indoor units for informations and controls such as a) operating condition of indoor units, b) zone control, c) Malfunction code display, d) Airflow volume & direction control, e) Ventillation volume & mode control.It shall be further connectable with unified ON/OFF Controller, Schedule Timer and BMS System. This shall include all hardware and necessary inbuilt softwares complete in all respects as per the drawings. Note : 1) The VRF/VRV shall have incoming power MCCBs/MCBs as per VRF/VRV unit control panels specifications. 2) The individual PCB should be microprocessor based as compatible for operation from remote controls with all hardwares, software and accessories complete in all respects. 3) Outdoor units shall be with anti-corrosion treatment and all nuts, bolts etc. shall be hot dip galvanizesd steel. 4) Testing, commissioning of VRV/VRF systems shall be included by the bidder in the scope of the work. All the consumables including refrigerant and oil for the proposed VRV/VRF system shall be under the scope of the bidder. The topping shall be done for any leakage during testing & commissioning of refrigerant (R-410 A/CFC free).
Indoor units
Cassette type (Round flow/4 way flow ) units: Design, manufacturing, supply, installation, testing & commissioning of following air cooled VRF/VRV type all directional round airflow or 4 way airflow DX split ceiling mounted cassette type indoor air conditioning unit (of following nominal cooling capacity in TR or kW or correspoding capacity range in HP providing equivalent cooling equivalent to given TR) of following minimum capacity for mounting inside false ceiling confirming to the technical specification of VRF/VRV system and compatible with above Outdoor units. It should comprise of cooling coil, blower with multi speed motor, electronic expansion valve, supply & return air grilles, filters, insulated connection of refrigerant circuit, condensate water drain pump with electronic level sensor including cordless remote controllers & installation from ceiling with all required supports, anchor fastners hardwares, interconnecting refrigerant copper piping, support etc. Cassette unit shall have suitable fresh air port to connect fresh air. All as per technical specifications and instructions of Engineer-in-charge.
Hi-wall type units: Design, manufacture, supply, installation, testing & commissioning of following air cooled VRF/VRV type front flow DX split Hi-wall Decorative type indoor air-conditioning units of following minimum capacity for wall mounting confirming to the technical specification and compatible with above Outdoor units where-in the IDU comprises of refrigerant DX cooling coil, electronic expansion valve, blower with multispeed motor, insulated connection of refrigerant circuit, supply & return air grills, filters, thermally insulated condensate water drain line, complete and suitable to operate from cordless remote controller including remote controller along with micro-proccessor based PCB for operation of the indoor units & installation on the wall with all required supports, anchor fasteners hardware’s, with interconnecting refrigerant copper piping, valves, supports etc all as per technical specifications and instructions of Engineer-in-charge and drawings. All the items required to put the hi-wall units into services after conducting all the tests as per specifications, included in the scope of the bidder whether specifically specified or not.
Floor Mounted type units: Design, manufacture, supply, installation, testing & commissioning of following air cooled VRF/VRV type top flow DX Floor Monted Decorative type indoor air-conditioning units of following minimum capacity for wall mounting confirming to the technical specification and compatible with above Outdoor units where-in the IDU comprises of refrigerant DX cooling coil, electronic expansion valve, blower with multispeed motor, insulated connection of refrigerant circuit, supply & return air grills, filters, thermally insulated condensate water drain line, complete and suitable to operate from cordless remote controller including remote controller along with micro-proccessor based PCB for operation of the indoor units & installation on the wall with all required supports, anchor fasteners hardware’s, with interconnecting refrigerant copper piping, valves, supports etc all as per technical specifications and instructions of Engineer-in-charge and drawings. All the items required to put the hi-wall units into services after conducting all the tests as per specifications, included in the scope of the bidder whether specifically specified or not.
PC based central controller
Supply, installation, testing and commissioning of PC based central controller with BACnet/LAN work/Modbus compatible to third party BMS system for monitoring and Controlling the VRF/VRV equipments. Required hardware, software, etc to interface with BAS system as per specification corded controller for each coolig zone / floor to perform the following for Indoor units on each floor; A) Temperature of air in the room / area served by indoor units. B) Indication of no. of indoor and outdoor units working. C) ON/OFF condition of indoor units. D)Malfunction code display. E) Airflow volume & direction control. F) Ventillation volume & mode control. Provision of necessary UPS and cabling, etc, if any shall be included in the scope of the item.
Monitoring station:- Providing necessary Software and Hardware for Interfacing through a gate way for monitoring through serial Modbus interface for the all the system as per technical specfication and system PC comprising Intelcore 2.8 GhzProcessor , 8GB DDR3 RAM, 1 TB HDD,Keyboard, Optical mouse, with SMPS Prime Source,DVD Writer, latest Windows based OS suitable forBAS softwares.The system should be supplied with23" TFT Color Monitor.
Duct mounted Fresh Air Fans: Supply, Installation, Testing and Commissioning of Double wall insulated panel SISW centrifugal blower of follwing capacities at static as per site requirement along with SS bird screen, flexible metallic canvas connections, drive arrangement including required foundations and all accessories, high efficiency TEFC Motor & Starter, control wiring, power cable terminations etc. as per drawings, technical specifications & instructions of Engineer-in-charge.
Refrigerant joints: Supply, installation, testing & commissioning of refrigerant joints from VRF/VRV manufacturers for VRF/VRV system as per specifications and instruction of EIC. It should have minimum three connections (one inlet and two outlets). Each refrigerant joints sets should form combinedly of suction and discharge line i.e. two nos. of refrigerant joints per set.
Communication cables: Supply, laying, testing & commissioning of standard copper 2C x 1.5 sq.mm screened sheated communication cabling to have interface between outdoor units / controller to individual indoor units and covered into PVC conduit (HMS quality) to be laid on wall/false ceiling, cable tray & covered ceiling including clamping and supporting as per standard specifications.
Flexible pipe ducting: Supply, installation, testing & commisioning of min 65 mm dia. Pre-insulated flexible pipe ducting suitable for fresh air connection with VRV Cassette Units as per standard specifications through suitable size GI sleeves installed in walls as per specifications, drawings and instruction of EIC.
GI Ducting: Design, supply, fabrication, installation, testing and commissioning of GI ducting (120 GSM) of following sizes for supply from TFA, fresh air ducts complete with turning vanes, access doors, supports, dampers etc. as per drawing and specifications and as instructed by EIC.

Acoustic Insulation: Supply,installation,testing & commissioning of 10mm thick acoustic insulation (armoured/ equivalent quality and specification) upto 6m from blower.
Canvas connection: Supply, installation, testing & commissioning of fire retardant (upto 250deg. C)flexible canvas connection along with zip for fresh air fans units and exhaust air blower as per specification and instructions of EIC.
Fresh Air Connection: Design, supply, fabrication, installation of outdoor air connection made out of GSS, mounted over a wooden frame of required size with rain protection, bird screen Aluminium powder coated rain protection louver damper all as per standard specifications for fresh air fans.
Refrigerant piping: 'Design, Supply, installation, testing & commissioning of the insulated refrigerant piping between outdoor unit to indoor units as per the manufacturer standard. The insulation shall be of 19 mm thick Nitrile rubber class O through out the running length of refrigerant piping covering with fire resistant fibre cloth fabric as a resistant to Scratch & Mechanical Impact. Piping shall be laid in shaft, walls/roof/ceiling well supported at specific intervals with wooden batten / mettallic supports and screwed with anchor fasteners for the following sizes of refrigernat piping. . All the refrigerant pipelines in terrace shall be installed on MS hot dip galvanized Tray. NB: 1) The sizes and quantities of pipes shown in the drawing are tentative only. The agency upon award of work shall execute the work as per the drawing duly recommended/approved by OEM and cleared by the department.

GI Piping: Supply, fabrication installation and comissioning of GI pipe (Class 'B', IS 1239) sleeves of following sizes for refrigerant pipes, condensate drain pipes and flexible fresh air pipe ducts wherever pipes / pipe ducts pass through the beams and walls as per drawing and instruction of Engineer In Charge.
PCC Support: 'Providing PCC supports with cement morter 1:2:4 as per the requirement of work and as per the instructions if EIC.
Air Grilles / Diffusers: Design, supply, installation, testing, commissioning and balancing of powder coated Aluminium extruded anodized grills, diffusers with double deflection louvers with volume control dampers for supply / return air all as per specifications & instructions of Engineer-in-charge.
Core Cutting: Core cutting of required size up to 100mm dia in RCC slab with diamond core bit , grouting the holes in cement mortar 1:3 with approved water proofing compound both inside & outside etc. complete all as as required & instructed by EIC
Closed GI Cable tray :Supply, fixing of the following closed GI cable tray 1.6 mm wall thickness and closed tray clamped at suitable distance, and smooth finishing for laying of refrigerant pipe at terrace including all the neccessary fixing of 8mm dia threaded rod with washers, check nuts, anchorfasteners, etc., as directed by E.I.C.

Supply, installation, testing & commissioning of 1.1 KV copper multi stranded conductor power cable of size 4C x25 sq mm with XLPE insulation, extruded PVC inner sheathed, G.I flat steel strip armoured, extruded PVC outer sheathed cable conforming to IS 7098 Part-I with latest amendments, with 10 SWG GI earth wire, coating with fire froof paint, fixed on wall/column/slab/ shaft with heavy gauge spacer and saddle, all as equired and instructions by E-I-C.
Supply, installation, testing & commissioning of 1.1 KV copper multi stranded conductor power cable of size 4 C X 6 sq mm with XLPE insulation, extruded PVC inner sheathed, G.I flat steel strip armoured, extruded PVC outer sheathed cable conforming to IS 7098 Part-I with latest amendments, with 10 SWG GI earth wire, coating with fire froof paint, fixed on wall/column/slab/ shaft with heavy gauge spacer and saddle, all as equired and instructions by E-I-C.

Ceiling fan:- Supply, installation, testing and commissioning of 1200 mm BLDC Fan confirming to IS 374/1979 with remote controlled speed regulator with alluminium blades complete with 16SWG safety chain & remote etc. including inteconnection to existing fan point, termination with suitable copper lugs etc. as per technical specifications and as instructed by the Engineer-in-Charge and as per Annexure-1. Note: Scope of work also includes 1) dismantling of the exisitng ceiling fans and depositiing the old ceiling fans in packed conidition in the cartons of new celing fans to DCSEM stores 2) Replacement of MS cover plate with fabricated 2mm thick PVC round cover plate for covering the fan junction box. Dimensions of PVC plate shall be same as of exixting plates.

PART - C : CIVIL WORKS-I : Providing & Applying seamless Acrylic based chemical waterproofing system with minimum 1 mm DFT (dry film thickness excluding thickness of membrance) including surface preparation as per general notes, primer coat, reinforcing membrane (minimum 45 GSM) and multiple layers of chemical coat (2 to 3 coats as per manufacturer's specification with minimum consumption @ 1.6 +/- 5 % kg per sqm), removing the existing damaged water proofing treatment, if any, all complete as per the manufacturers specifications and as directed by Engineer in Charge, using any of the following waterproofing systems; 1) Smart care Damp Proof of M/s Asian paints. 2) Dr. Fixit New coat of M/s Pidilite . 3) Brush bond Roof Guard of M/s Fosroc. 4) ShaliCryl® LM HI of M/s STP Limited, all confirming to the following technical requirements: Physical/Chemical properties: Sp. Supplying, fabricating and fixing in position at all floors factory made Aluminium grill /Aluminium sliding/top hung/fixed/ adjustable louvered windows & ventilators with rivit joint of specified size, made of integrated bronze anodised matt finished (15micron thick) aluminium section (extruded) , including for making exhaust fan frame work, handles of specified size etc., of approved manufactures for following types with extruded sections of Jindal / Jindal / Aluminax or other approved equivalent make of approved sections with size and weights as directed for frames and shutters(including wastages if any) wherever mitred joints required confirming to relevant IS specifications with all approved Bronze anodised aluminium fittings and accessories, latching fixture, 2/3 rollers with ball bearing of superior quality all as shown in the drawing including providing and fixing aluminium channel beading/glazing clips fixed with necessary bronze anodised screws, grouting the gap with sealant and including dismantling of existing window frame, shutter, glass, grill and depositing same to dept. store etc. all complete generally as per drawing, specifications etc., all as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note : Payment shall be made per Kg basis. Aluminium sections such as shutter frames, track window/door frame/beading channel for glass adjustable louvers etc., shall only be measured linearly as per actual/finished cutting size nearest to centimetre and multiplied with sectional weight of the individual section and the total quantity of aluminium section will be arrived at for payment without any allowance for wastage.

PART - D : CIVIL WORKS-II : Supplying & erecting M.S. tabular scaffolding using ‘H’ frame for staging as per following with horizontal & vertical @ suitable spacing as per I.S. specification suitably overtopped at junctions & cross braced, wherever required securely tied, supporting the scaffolding with building members as permitted by Engineer in charge. NOTE: 1. Contractor has to observe all safety procedure while working on heights as per I.S. 3696 (part I)-1987(Safety Code for scaffolds) 2. Labour working on the scaffolding should be provided with safety belts, helmets and they should wear the same while working. Labours seen not wearing safety belts & helmets shall be sent out of the work immediately. 3. The scaffolding once provided for the repair work shall be removed after the entire repair work is completed in all respects. (4) Suitable nylon net with a mesh size of 25 mm shall be provided at 4 M. height from the floor level around the scaffolding up to a distance of minimum 3 M. from the edge of the wall in all sides to catch any falling objects causing accidents. (5) Screen of suitable material shall be provided to the full height of scaffolding and securely tied to protect falling bodies coming out during the repair work is in progress. (6) To protect workers on lower platform against falling objects from higher level overhead protection should be provided on the scaffolds. (7) Contractor has to provide safety belts, helmets to the workers, nylon mesh and screen to avoid falling bodies at his own cost and no extra payment shall be made for same. (8). The workers engaged on the repair work are required to be insured as per Government norms at the cost of contractor. (9) Necessary aluminium M.S. ladder, M.S. staircase, working platform etc. shall be provided at the cost of the contractor, to the full height of scaffolding at required locations around the building to enable department Engineer/ Supervisor climb up and closely watch the repair work of the building. (10). For safety of workmen contractor must fix railing at all working platforms to avoid falling of workmen.

Providing and fixing 100% Nylon machine tufted loop carpet pile in tile form in size 50cm x 50cm or any other standard size having minimum pile weight of 18 ounces per square yard & average pile height of 3.5 mm with backing as per the manufacture's specifications. The carpet to be fixed using adhesive as per the manufacture's specifications and as directed by the Engineer-In-Charge.

PART - E : REBATE ITEMS : Indoor units: Dismantling, Removing, Transporting and taking away the old existing indoor units make- Voltas, Capacity- 1.6TR / 2 TR / 2.6 TR / 3.2 TR, type- Cassette, high wall and floor mounted/standing installed at OYC building.
Outdoor Unit: Dismantling, Removing, Transporting and taking away the old existing outdoor units make- Voltas, Capacity- 48 HP installed in OYC building.
Refrigerant Pipes: Dismantling, Removing, Transporting and taking away the old existing refrigerant copper pipes of different size including refrigerant joints installed at OYC building. Note:- Agency is requested to visit the OYC building for calculating the lumpsump quantity before quoting.
Electrical Light: Disconnecting, dismantling and taking away of all the existing electrical lighting fixtures & accessories like unused switches, sockets, ceiling roses, switchboards, cutouts, wiring, cables, old lighting fixtures etc. as instructed by E.I.C.
Dismantling, Removing, Transporting and taking away the Scrap wood at OYC Building as instructed by EIC.
Dismantling, Removing, Transporting and taking away the M. S. Scrap i.e. MS/GI/CI/grill etc. at OYC Building as instructed by EIC.
Dismantling, Removing, Transporting and taking away the Scrap Aluminium at OYC Building as instructed by EIC.
