Earth work excavation for foundation in all soils and sub-soils and to full depth as may be directed except in rock requiring blasting inclusive of shoring shuttering, bailing out water wherever necessary and depositing the surplus earth within the compound in places shown by the departmental officers with an initial lead of 10 mts and initial lift of 2 mts. and clearing and levelling the site, etc., complete complying with standard specification.

Supplying and filling in foundation, basement, etc with Crushed Stone sand filling in layers of not more than 15 cm thick well watered, rammed and consolidated etc. complete complying with standard specification and as directed by the departmental officers.

Cement Concrete 1:5:10 (One Cement, Five sand and Ten hard broken stone jelly) using 40 mm gauge hard broken granite stone jelly for foundation including dewatering wherever necessary and laid in layers of not more than 15 cm thick well rammed, consolidated and curing etc. complete complying with standard specification.

Supplying and erecting steel centering including necessary supports for plane surfaces for Reinforced Cement Concrete works such as column footings, column pedestals, plinth beams, grade beams, staircase steps, etc. which require only nominal strutting using mild steel sheets of size 90cm x 60cm and 10 BG stiffened with welded mild steel angles of size 25mm x 25mm x 3 mm for boarding, laid over silver oak joists of size 10cm x 6.5cm spaced at about 75cm centre to centre or at suitable intervals etc. complete in all floors complying with standard specifcation. (Payment for centering shall be given after the concrete is laid).

Supplying and erecting steel centering for sides and soffits including supports and strutting upto 3.29m height for plane surfaces such as RCC floor slab, roof slab, rectangular, square tee or ell beams, lintels, staircase, waist slab, landing slab, landing beam, portico slab, portico beams in all floors with all cross bracings using mild steel sheets of size 90cmX60cm and 10 gauge stiffened with welded mild steel angles of sizes 25mmX25mmX3mm for boarding laid over silver oak joists of size 10x6.5cm spaced at about 90cm centre to centre suppported by casurina props 10cm to 13cm dia spaced at 75cm centre to centre etc. complete complying with standard specification and as directed by the departmental officers.

For Plane surface such as RCC floor slabs, roof slabs, rectangular beams, Tee beams, Ell beams, lintels, landing slabs, waist slabs, canopy slabs etc.

For plane surfaces such as rectangular or square RCC columns, sunshades, top and bottom slab of RCC boxing, etc.

Providing in position, Standardised Concrete Mix M-20 Grade in accordance with IS 456-2000, using 20mm and down graded hard broken granite store jelly for all RCC items of works with minimum cement content of 325 kg/m3 and maximum water cement ration of 0.55, including admixture (plasticiser/Super plasticiser) in recommended proportions as per IS: 9103 to accelerate, retard setting of concrete, improveworkability without impairing strength and durability with about (5 cu.m.) 7730 kg of 20mm machine crushed stone jelly and with about (3.3 cu.m.) 5156 kg. of 10-12mm machine crushed stone jelly and with about (4.79 cu.m.) 7670 kg. of sand, but excluding cost of reinforcement grill and fabricating charges, centering and shuttering and also including laying, vibrating with mechanical vibrators, finishing, curing etc., and providing fixtures like fan clamps in the RCC floor / roof slabs wherever necessary and bearing surfaces of walls, beams etc., complete complying with standard specification and as directed by the departmental officers. The coarse and fine aggregates to be used should comply with the requirements of IS Standards. (No separate payment will be made by the Department for the excess usage of mateials).

In Foundation & Basement

In Ground Floor

Supplying, fabricating and placing in position Mild Steel / Ribbed Tor Steel grills for all RCC works as per design given including cost of steel and G.I. binding wire in all floors etc., complete complying with standard specification. and as directed by the departmental officers. (Contractor has to make his own arrangements for the supply of steel and binding wire).

Supplying and fixing of M.S.grill of approved design for grill gate, grill work to doors and windows openings ramp etc., using necessary mild steel flats for inner and outer members which should be fixed on edges including priming coat of best approved quality red oxide primer etc., complete complying with standard specification.

Plastering and finishing the exposed surface of all RCC items of work such as slabs, beams, sunshades, facia, canopy slab, staircase waist slab, landing slab etc., with Cement Mortar 1:3 (One Cement and Three Sand) 10mm thick including hacking the surfaces, providing cement mortar nosing, beading for sunshades, staircases, steps, landing slabs and curing, etc., in all floors complying with standard specification and as directed by the departmental officers.

Painting two coats of wall surface with ready mixed plastic exterior emulsion paint of first class quality and of approved colour over a primer coat including thorough scrapping, clean removal of dirt, and including necessary plaster of paris putty, wherever required etc., complete complying with standard specification.

Providing and fixing of Aluminium Composite Panel (ACP) 4 sided having 50 x 25 x 1.50mm frame work vertical and horizontals out of specially designed extruded sections withstand wind pressure of 180 Kg/sq.m and fabricated fixed at all level elevation and heights. The extruded section cutting and fixing required space extruded section shall be of 6063 and alloy of BSH 9 confirming T is – 63400 rate shall included to fix the main frame with necessary clamps, fasteners, bolt nuts etc. The main frame of extruded section shall be of 22843 & 22739 (H9) grade conforming to BS 4174 (or) IS 8147. Rate shall included 4mm thick ACP sheet (0.25 + 3.5 + 0.25) alstrong or equivalent fixing with spacer tape and the ACP sheet bounded with special type structural sealant of dow corning 789 or equivalent in dust free conditions the gaps between ACP sheet to be filed with whether sealant and backer rod or 12mm foam sheet to ensure water and air tightness in all complete complying with standard specification as directed by the departmental officer

Designing the Semi Unitised Structural Glazing System with open groove joint as per design intent, preparation of shop drawings for approval, supply, fabricate, erect as per approved shop drawings at all floor levels and all floor heights including conducting field test as per the test criteria set out in the particular specification (Metholodgy should be got approved by the Dept. Officials.) Design the framing system (i.e. male & Female frame) to support vision panels, spandrel panels either with glass or aluminium composite panel, openable, window panels on a continuous framing supported between floors. Also design the split framing unutilized glazing system in case of strip or punched windows with vision panel proposed with either insulated / Monolithic glass, groove width in the system both in horizontal and vertical shall not be more than 20mm. Glazing of panel shall be done only at factory at the controlled atmosphere.

Providing Brass polished / Mat finish Stainless Steel letters of good quality in English & Tamil. The letters should be cast as per the design given and approved by the departmental officers. The letters should be fixed to masonry or concrete surface property and as directed by the departmental officers. The rate includes cost of letters, fixing charges at a height more than 4m inlcuding scaffolding charges, rick allowances for working at a height of more than 4 height dismantling and redoing the masonry to original condition etc.,

Supplying and Fixing of Aluminium Dye Cast Letters of approved size and colour. The colour treatment process is achieved with MRF colour coat and then the processed coloured layer is set into the kiln for the heat treatment process for the following sizes

Aluminium Dye Cast Letters 9'' size

Supplying and fixing of brass emblem of 15'' size including cost for transportation and labour etc., complete as directed by the departmental officers.

Supplying and fixing Name board arrangements with Aluminium Composite Panel (ACP) of size 36'' x 6'' and 4mm thick sheet base with vinyl sticker lettering. The name board should be fixed over the wall surface with necessary screws wooden plugs by drilling holes. The rate is including the cost of all material, transport, labour charges for fixing, hire charges for tools and plants, power consumption charges and necessary scaffolding arrangements as directed by the departmental officers.
