REPAIR/ MAINT OF LIGHTING ARRESTER/ EARTHING STRIPS, EARTHING INFRASTRUCTURE AT AF STN NAJAFGARH

Material and labour for Maintenance of earthing including measurement of Earth resistance and earth to neutral voltage of earthing any type (Chemical/Conventional & Grid earthing) pertaining to various locations with proper calibration earth tester and recording the reading in a register and take appropriate action such as pouring of salt mixed water in earth pit, replacement of blocked rusted funnel, tightening the earth strip through nut, bolts and washers, replacing old rusted worn out nuts and bolts with new complete all as specified and directed. Note (i) :- The Contractor or his rep will attend the office of AGE E/M (AF) TKD daily for collection of complaint slip at 0900 hrs. (ii) The Contractor must provide manpower (one skilled and one unskilled) to carry out earth pit resistance check of each section of entirearea every month and will enter the value of each earth pit and obtain signature of user rep as well as JE E/M (iii) Total one earthing check will be counted as one job (iv) The earth resistance checking equipment including all necessary T&P items shall be provided by the contractor and the cost of the same to be included in the quoted rate. (iv) The cost of material such as funnel, common salt, charcoal dust, magnisium sulphate (MgSO4) etc will be paid under relevant item of this schedule as supply only however the cost of nut bolts shall deemed to be included in the quoted rate.

M&L for cleaning all unwanted vegetation from surrounding of earth pit, within the radius of 1 Mtr apart, cleaning inner side and out side of earthing pit complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fix in replacement Precast (Factory Manufactured) Earthing pit of size 450 mm x 450 mm x 450 mm x 50 mm thickness with Mortar design precast Pit cover , made with RCC (1:3:6), type C-1 chamber, pit cover of precast RCC (1:2:4), type B-1 reinforced XPM of weight not less than 4 Kg/Sqm and plaster work inner or outer etc including taking down old pit cover, exacavation complete all as specified and directed.

Supply only common salt for earthing pit complete all as specified and directed.

Supply only Charcoal dust for earthing pit complete all as specified and directed.

Supply only Magnisium Sulphate (MgSo4) for earthing pit complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fix earthing indicator made out of Aluminium sheet of size 30 cm x 25 cm, 3mm thickness with support of flat iron frame of size 25 x 4 mm including necessary Earth work, PCC work over and including ine coat of synthetic enamel paint complete all as directed.

M&L in repair of old existing PCC earthing pit making connection of earth strip including minor adjustment, construction of rectangular/squre any size brick boundary alongwith necessary plastering work with specified colour coding around poly plastic earth pit cover, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for one coat painting of old existing earthing pit in existing colour complete all as specified and directed.

M&L in replacement for GI brazing (welding) at site to connect loop GI earthing strip of any size after tighten by nut, bolt , washer , checknuts all as specified and as directed. Note : GI brazing should be done any hight height. Cost of necessary tool/plant and ladder required for working upto 20 mtr height shall be deemed to be included in the rate quoted
