GEAFU-33/2026-27 REPAIR / MAINTENANCE/ REPLACEMENT OF CONVENTIONAL / CHEMICAL EARTHING, LIGHTNING ARRESTER AND ALLIED CONNECTED WORKS AT A STATION UDHAMPUR

M&L for monthly Checking of Earth Resistance by digital clamp earth resistant meter of Chemical/conventional Earthing and maintaining the Register as per Note Points mentioned below: NOTE :- (a) Contractor will Check Earth Resistance of test points and will be maintained in Register, same will be put up to the Engineer-in-Charge through JE E/M. (b) Contractor shall provide digital clamp earth resistant meter (c) Contractor will be responsible for pouring of water in the Earth Pits monthly at his own arrangement . However, Water will be provided by the Department. (d) Contractor will be responsible for cleaning of bushes, grass, sand etc inside and all around upto 0.50 Metre Area of existing Earth Pit with tightening of Strip. (e) Repair Party will be reported every Morning to JE E/M. (f) Cost of register for noting earthing results, location wise shall deemed to be included with the unit rate. Proforma of detail column will be printed as per the direction of Engineer-in-charge. (g) The contractor is responsible for maintaining the value of chemical / conventional earthing as per station norms as directred by Engr-in-Charge. (h) Recovery for Penalty will be made as follows :- (i) Earthing left without Checked lesser by 25 No. - Rs. 60.00/Earthing (ii) Earthing left without Checked in a Month - Rs. 150.00/Earthing (iii) Earthing left without Cleaning in a Month - Rs. 50.00/Earthing (iv) Earthing left without Watering in a Month - Rs. 30.00/Earthing

M&L for supply and pouring of RoHS tested Earth Enhancement Compound after mixing with water with a resistivity < 0.12 ohm-m. It shall be free from bentonite and other hazardous substances as per IEC 62561-7: 2018. It shall be a permanent, non-corrosive material and will not leach any chemicals into the ground. It shall retain moisture even in high soil resistivity areas. complete all as specified and as directed. Note: Measurement of Chemical will be done in Powder form. Test certificate of material required as per IS code.

Supply & Fixing 125mm dia FRP earth pit cover of top size 200x200 bottom size 300x300mm with height of 150mm with lockble lid, earth pit cover shall be made of poly plastic tested at 7.5 Ton load for closing of earth pit complete all as required and as directed by Engr-in-Charge. Make: JMV(BFC) SG Power GEM/KAPI Trode/GEC ( Techno poer) or equivalent

Repairing to existing defective earthing by taking out carefully GI / Copper earth plate, watering pipe, protection pipe and re-buried the same after removing sludge from the plate and pipes. The earth plate shall be buried directly in ground with top edge of earth plate not less than 1.50 m below normal ground level, connected to GI earth wire or GI / copper earth strip any size by means of nut-bolts, check nuts and washers of galvanised iron or steel all as shown on electrical plate No. 3 of MES schedule 2020, Part–I (Specifications) and other end connected to main switch board / main DB’s / earthing test point including all necessary excavation and earth work in any type of soil, adequate quantity of charcoal dust & common salt in alternate layers all around the earth plate minimum 150 mm in all directions with & including GI funnel made out of 0.63 mm thick GI sheet, wire gauge, complete the earthing including testing of earthing on completion of job complete all as specified and directed. Note : (i) Necessary earth work will be measured and paid seperately. (ii) Material like, salt charcoal, protection pipe, funnel and earthing plate will be measured and paid seperately

M & L for construction of cement concrete earth pit chamber in PCC 1:3:6, type C-1, 450 X 450 X 50 mm thick and 200 mm depth with fair finished concrete surfaces including necessary formwork and earth work as required/ordered at site, complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for replacement of Pre-cast RCC Cover with Handle 2 Nos and hole of dia 40mm in Cement Concrete 1:2:4 (20mm graded stone aggregate) of size 540x540x60mm, reinforced with and including 10mm dia TMT Bars @ 250mm Centre to Centre in both ways including demolition of old unsv RCC/ MS pit cover complete all as specified and as directed.

Dismantling the existing earthing pit chamber made of PCC 1:2:4 type B-I (using 20 mm graded crushed stone aggregate), and cleaning the area including removal of broken PCC/excavated material 50 mtr away from site all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

M&L for Painting of old existing cement concerete earth pit chamber in colour code as white for convintional, yellow for copper conventional and red for chemical including preparation of surface , removal of dust etc and applying two coat of suitable paint complete all as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

S&F in repair CI funnel made as specified in SSR Part -I electrical plate No 3 fixed with GI pipe of watering by welding or threading etc including taking down old unserviceable complete all as specified and as diirected.

Supply salt commercial for the earth pit all as specified and directed
