Eligibility Criteria

Tenders from Joint ventures are not acceptable.

Bidders shall not be under a declaration of ineligibility for corrupt and fraudulent practices issued by any State Government/Government of India/Union Territory

Bidders shall ensure upload of relevant document certifying his-her status as Scheduled Caste-Scheduled Tribe/other reserved category as prescribed in the tender document

It shall be the responsibility of the Bidder to ensure credit of Tender Processing Fee and EMD into the respective receiving bank accounts of e-Procurement on or before the last date and time of bid submission.

EMD Payments through e-Payment mode shall be made as one single transaction and payments made in part are liable for rejection.

Minimum financial turnover (civil engineering construction works) not less than One times the annual payments from this contract as per KW-1

Satisfactorily completed (at least 50% of the contract value), as prime contractor, at least one similar work is to be completed of value not less than Rs. 1.26 lakhs -Usually not less than 50% estimated value of contract

Tenderer or his identified Sub Contractor should possess valid Electrical License for executing building electrificatio works and should have executed similar electrical works totallng Rs. xxxxxx (not less than 50% of electrical works) n any one year

The Payment for the work will be made based on availability of funds and according to Queue system

Total value of civl engineering works executed and payments received in the last five years (year-wise)

List of existing commitments and ongoing works

List of works for which tenders already submitted

Banker Details for reference

Construction equipment owned by the tenderer and equipment proposed to be deployed on this contract, if awarded

Reports on the financial standing of the tenderer, such as profit and loss statements and auditor’s reports for the last five years

Qualification and experience of the key technical and management personnel in permanent employment with the tenderer and those that are proposed to be deployed on this contract, if awarded

The bidder is required to ensure browser compatibility of the computer well in advance to the last date and time for receipt of tenders. The departments shall not be responsible for non-accessibility of e-Procurement portal due to internet connectivity issues and technical glitches at bidders end.

Bidder shall pay Contract Management Module processing fees of 0.025% of the contact value (Min Rs.500/- & Max Rs.7500/-) soon after contract has been issued to bidder

Conditional tenders will not be accepted

Any discrepancies observed in the documents uploaded by the tenderer the submitted tender bid shall be liable to be rejected

Royalty on construction materials and other taxes will be deducted as per prevailing Govt, orders as may be modified from time to time

As per Karnataka state Government order No.LD/300/LET/2006 Banglore Dated 01-01-2007 and Government Letter No PW/134/BMS/2007 Dated 27-7-2007, a sum amounting to 1% of the bill amount will be deducted towards construction Labour welfare fund

The tenderer shall scan original Workdone certificates/Turnover Statements and any other documents specified by the employer and attach the scanned file to the Bid. The Original Documents shall be produced for physical verification within one week from the date of Technical bid opening

The Employer reserves the right to reject any or all Tenders without assigning any reason or what so ever

The earnest money deposit will be forfeited if the documents submitted by the tenderer found to be misleading/forged or fake/Taken back

The contractors shall collect necessary samples as required & all relevant requisite tests to be got done by the registered institution or firms with consultants with the Third Party

The Department is not responsible for any delay caused in accessing the e-procurement portal

Tender validity for valid bid is 90 days

The Tenders/ Bids are invited as per Standard tender Bid Document KW-1: The contractor shall attach all the requisite documents as required in the standard bid document. The Bidders shall abide as per the detailed instructions and conditions contained in standard bid document KW-1
