Supply, Installation, Testing and Commissioning of Diesel Engine Driven Silent Generating Set, 415 volts, 650 kVA 3 phase, 0.8 power factor, 50 Hz, brushless, 1500 rpm, self excited, self regulated, AC, and engine as per IS: 10001/ 10002 and alternator as per IS: 13364 complete with foundation, control panel with necessary meters, AMF Panel with relay and switch gear for automatic starting on mains failure and sound proof canopy as per CPCB-IV(+) norms, fuel tank of capacity as per manufacturer recommendations,fuel lines including standard accessories all as specified and as directed with and including following:-
(A) ALTERNATOR: Standard design alternator rated at 650 kVA net output at site after considering all derating factors, at power factor 0.8, AC 3 phase, 4 wire 415 volts, 50 cycles, 1500 rpm, self excited, self regulated, screen protected, drip proof IP-23 enclosure, brushless design with hub and sealed ball/roller bearing, with winding on each pole faces, insulating class H, band of voltage regulation +/- 1% operated voltage from no load to full load and shell conforming to BS-2613/BS-5000 and shell B in position to ganarate supply with frequency regulation within +/- 3% tolerance, revolving field type.

Design, Installing, Testing & Commissioning of Micro processor controlled central Air Conditioning plant of capacity not less than 117 TR consisting of 3 units of 39 TR each (2 Working +1 Standby) , for air conditioning during summer and monsoon along with central heating plant of approx working capacity of 1.0 lakh Kcal/hr each (2 Working + 1 Stand by) to achieve inside desire temperature 22°C ± 3°C through out the year with humidity control to maintain relative humidity 60 ± 5% and suitable dust filtration up to 15 micron at suction and the conditioning satisfying those mentioned in the enclosed user data sheet as appendix and with the following.
(A) CHILLAR UNITS
(i) SCROLL COMPRESSOR :- Micro processor based automatic controlled with hermatically sealed scroll type compressor duly coupled with refrigerant cooled SPDP induction motor to run on 3 Phase, 50 HZ as per manufactuer requirement of suitable capacity driven by 415± 10% Volts power supply complete with suction and discharge piping, auto restart after power failure, built in time delay relay, inbuilt thermal protection, standard accessories to meet the automatic step capacity control of 25%, 50%, 75%, 100% full load of heat load design condition including first charge of compressor oil etc . (ii) CONDENSER:- Shell and tube type water cooled condenser with MS shell and integrally finned copper tubing pre coated with resistance to both chemical and sailine corrosion, complete with safety valves, drain valve, water inlet and outlet valves all as specified and as per manufacturer requirement. (iii) CHILLER:- Shell and tube type water cooled direct expansion chiller units having plain copper tubes all as specified and as per manufacturer requirement.
(iv) MICRO PROCESSOR BASED CONTROL PANEL :- (i) Micro processor based control comprising for following features:- (a) Automatic capacity control reducing energy consumption. (H) AIR DISTRIBUTION SYSTEM :- Supply fabrication duct installation with resin bonded fibre glass wool roll of a lot of air distribution system made out of (PGI sheet) sheet galvanized steel section ducting of thickness (18/20/22 Gauge) as per indian Standard (IS; 655 -1963) including 3mm rubber gasket, nut and bolts for jointing the supply air duct and return air duct over the ceiling with necessary inbuilt stiffeners to maintain the desired noise level form AHU to condition room, of commercial grade VIII as per IS 65 including main air chamber complete insulated with fiber glass wool sheet 50mm thick density not less then 24 Kg / cum with factory laminated aluminium vapour barrier and covered with chicken wire mesh and 10mm thick cement sand plaster decoratively out site covered spaceand with alumin foil 1mm thick inside covered space with suitable MS supporting arrangements from RCC roof / ceiling / walls with adjustable dampers, vanes etc complete as per specification and as per ducting layout marked tentatively on site plan to meet the required qyt of supply air in the condition room and to maintain the design parameters air velocity and uniform distribution of condition air with following accessories:- ( to be considered based on manufacturer recommendation)
(i) Mechanical Fire dampers as approved by CPRI in main supply air duct and in main branch wherever required of suitable sizes including control wiring .The dampers shall be motorized and spring return so as to close the damper in the event of power failure automatically and open the same in case of power being restored. the spring return action shall be inbuilt mechanism and not externally mounted.the damper shall also be closed in the event of fire signal complete all as specified and directed. (ii) M & L for applying rubber based adhesive CPRX compound, Powder coated extruded aluminium section fresh air grill in AHU room with aluminium volume control dampers bird screen etc complete as required and as specified. (iii) M & L for securing the insulation with and including mechanically fastened nylon / steel straps of size 12mm / 50mm at maximum intervals of 1.2mtr, Powder coated extruded aluminum section supply air grill of required sizes and numbers with aluminum volume control dampers complete all as specified and required. (iv) - Ditto- but return air grills of required sizes and numbers. (v) Supply air diffuser ceilling mounted double louvered and double deflection type of powder coated aluminum with volume control dampers of required sizes and numbers to provide adequate air with suitable velocited fitted on the ceiling with necessary suitable frame made of wood / aluminum to match with the ceiling finishes and grid.
(vi) Return air diffuser ceiling mounted single louvered and double deflection type of powder coated aluminumof required sizes and numbers fitted on the ceiling with necessary suitable frame made of wood / aluminum to match with the ceiling finishes and grid. (vii) Acoustic lining to the main supply air duct from AHU up to a minimum length of 6 ft as per standard specification. (i) Power Cable Supply, installation testing and commissioning of complete cable work using XLPE insulated PVC sheathed galvanised steel strip or wire armoured underground aluminium cables ISI marked ( IS - 7098 Part-1) of suitable sizes for electric supply from main panel in AC plant room to various loads including Supplying and making end termination with brass double compression glands and aluminium lugs including interconnections from starters to motors on existing cable trays/supports as required as per specifications.
(ii) Cable tray Cable trays of suitable sizes for laying power & control cables with weldless construction, factory assembled bolted rung type, Pre- galvanized GI as per IS 2629, made out of Hot Rolled steel sheets of 2.0mm thickness conforming to IS 1079 Grade O. Finish shall be Hot Dip Galvanized 65 Microns for 2.0mm and above thick material conforming to IS 2629. Couplers shall be 2mm thick (Pre-Galvanized), Plate type with 4 holes. pre galvanized steel runner and slotted rungs. Including cable support system. The rate shall include bends, angles, Ts, supports and all accessories complete Supports Shall be provided at every 1200mm. The cost of supports to be included. The cost of 2runs of 25x3mm GI Strip to be included in the cost of the cable tray. Supports must be made out of MS L/U angle type for cable tray width of 450mm and above. For Less than 450mm width tray support with hi-tech threaded rods & anchor fasteners. all as specified and directed
(iii) Control Cable Supply, installation, testing and commissioning of complete cable work using PVC insulated PVC sheathed copper control cables of 6CX1.5 Sqmm sizes to various equipment including interconnections from electric supply to equipments on existing cable trays / supports as required including end termination on both sides as per specifications and as required.
(K) LT Panel
Supply, testing and commissioning of outdoor type dust & vermin proof L.T. Panel board cubicle type totally enclosed with outer shell shall be made out of 3.15 mm thick sheet & MS angle section of suitable size for frame, factory fabricated, compartmentalized inner shell shall be made of out of 2.0 mm thick sheet .The Panels must be design and verified as per the IS/IEC 61439-01 & 2 with complete type test certificates for conformance to IS / IEC 61439 -1 and 2, with 65 KA 1 sec along with MCCB mounted in switch boards with aluminium bus bars conformed to IEC 61641 with internal arc containment fault level of 65 KA/03 Sec and shall be suitable for Seismeic Zone III/IV Zone including the type test conducted at ERDA/CPRI for seismic test.
All MCCB/ ACB panel should be single Tier for easy cable termination.Cable termination space should be adequate to safely gland and terminate al/cu cables for the given current ratings with Form B seperation for Incoming MCCB / ACB feeders and For Outgoing MCCB feeders. (A). COMMON FEATURES/TECH SPECIFICATION :- Here in as mentioned below :-
(i) Gantry Girders and Bridge girder double box type/Rail of suitable size has to be provided by the bidder.
(iv) End carriages with standard wheel bases fabricated using the modern welding and machining techniques to ensure jerk free and smooth travel motion. The wheels shall be double flanged, supported on self aligning anti-friction bearings, Buffers shall be provided at the ends of the carriage as per IS Standards.
(v) Brakes for all drives shall be Electro-magnetic shoe brakes according to the application.
(vi) Hooks shall be shank type supported on anti friction thrust bearing and the sleeve pulleys shall be made out of malleable cast iron or fabricated, conforming to IS: 3815.
(vii) Controls: The crane shall be controlled by pendant. The main electrical components shall be housed sheet steel enclosures suitable for indoor application conveniently located for easy maintenance. Standard protection devices for overload protection and short circuit protection shall be provided.
(viii) All other incidental, Civil , Electrical and Mechanical works pertain to cranes.
(B) The crane will be put to use for 365 Days’ continuous duty with CT, LT and Hoist movements.
(C) The department shall be responsible for providing suitably rated electrical outlet in the Main Electrical Control Panel/Main Distribution Board of the buildings (Refer Drawings). All other works, electrical earthings and associated incidental and minor works shall be the responsibility of the contractor.
(D) The details of RCC brackets, End plates etc are shown in relevant drawings.The contractor shall certify that these are sufficient and meets the requirements of his design
(E) Major Technical specifications of the crane are given below. These are to be complied with by the contractor/manufacturer. The parameters which are not specified are to be as per Contractors'/OEM's own design. The contractor shall submit following drawings alongwith the design calculation folder ( for mechnical and civil design) , and get the drawings approved from the Accepting Officer . The drawings shall be complete in all respect.
Hoist: Hoist should be as per IS: 3938 (latest version) of STAHL, DEMAG, INDEF make. Only Low Head Room Hoist shall be acceptable.
STRUCTURAL FABRICATION (Constructional Details):
Bridge Girder: Shall be of Double Girder Box Type construction having Minimum vibrations.
End Carriage: Fabricated from rolled steel sections / plates as per IS:2062
Raw Material: Only tested quality steel Fe 410 WB as per IS-2062, IS:1964 & IS:808 and certified for quality by reputed inspection authorities, shall be used.
Number of Joints allowed: Single Joint
Welding Electrodes for all Horizontal Welding: E 7018 Electrode only should be used.
Welded Joint Testing: All Butt Welded Joints (both compression/ tension and flanges / web joints)shall be subjected to 100% X-Ray Testing and X-Ray Films to be produced for evaluation and form part of the completion documentation).
Mechanical Joints: Fit Bolts (as per IS 3640 –1982) for all joints coming in main members.
Heat Treatment & NDT Examination: The Trolleys shall be stress relieved, if necessary, by thermal heat-treatment process after welding & NDT. All welding shall be tested by NDT means [MPI, LPI & RT] after stress relieving operation (Govt. approved Test House & certificate). Manufacturer to furnish the details of facilities for Heat Treatment furnace & NDT Lab at their works. All the welded joints should be NDT tested by Govt. approved Test House & certificate / X-Ray films to be submitted at time of inspection.
Gear & Gear Boxes Details: Gear Box should be of fabricated type duly stress relieved. Pinions made of En 24 and gears of En 18. Gears in all the Stages shall be helical in design and to be of machined, lapped and hardened Straight and helical spur gearing shall normally be used for all motions. Worm and bevel gears shall not be used. First and high speed reductions shall be through helical gears. All first reduction pinions and also the other pinions if feasible shall be integral with the shafts. All gears shall be of hardened and tempered alloy or carbon steel with machine cut teeth. Gear tooth shall be cut in metric module system. Surface hardening of teeth is not allowed. The Gears / pinions should be hardened to HRC 50-55 and ground. Please note that gears and pinions must have pressure angle of 20°C only.
Lubrication: Suitable lubrication system shall be provided for gear box, all rotating parts wherever applicable. Details of the same to be furnished. Please indicate the type of Lub. Oil & grease, quantity also.
Rope Drum: Shall be of fabricated type stress relieved or seamless pipe. The circumferential weld joints shall be tested by 100% X-Ray quality (Please mention the size). The size of drum shall be 265mm length 1050mm no. of groves each side 29 Nos .
Wheel : Trade mean dia of wheel for cross and long travel shall be made of forged steel of suitable dia.
Type of Coupling: Couplings should be flexible geared Barrel type. No pin / bush / rubber type coupling to be used
Machining Operation: All mechanical mating surfaces and wheel seating areas are to be machined to the required finish and protected.
Hoist Wire Rope Details: Fiber core confirming to IS: 2266. With adequate Wire rope, No. of fall -08 6x36 constructions with adequate minimum breaking load. Make:- USHA MARTIN

Type & details of Brakes for all motions: Conical rotor type or "Fail to safe" action type Electromagnetic shoe / disc brakes type to be provided to hold the mechanism in position instantaneously as soon as the power supply is 'OFF' either accidentally or intentionally for all motions. Brake wheel dia for hoisting shall be 150mm having breaking forged 9Kg/m Model MDT-150 . Brake wheel dia cross travel shall be 100mm breaking forged 6kg/m Model MDT-100
Electric Contactors: shall have SIEMENS / L&T / GE / BCH/Schenider contactors suitable for Crane operations. Crane duty AC-4 ratings.
Contactors Rating: The rating of all Contactors shall be at least 50% higher than the respective electric motor full load current, at the specified duty cycle.
Wiring: All the panel wiring should be done by using standard multi core Copper highly flexible, double insulated cables and of Butyl Rubber.
Earthing for Electrical items in Crane: Shall be carried out as per IS.
Trailing Cables: Trailing cables (Extra flexible having copper conductors only) should be traveling on rollers moving on separate I- Beam parallel to Bridge Girder and both for LT & CT shall be supplied and Erected by supplier.
Illumination: 2 Nos. of 60 Watts Flame proof LED Lamps & fittings shall be provided under the Bridge and 1 No. shall be provided under CT Trolley. (Total lights 3 Nos.).
Limits Switches: Hoist shall be provided with both rotary and counter weight type (Over Hoisting and Over lowering) Shunt, adjustable type limit switches. Limit switches shall be provided for both CT & LT. Two way lever type for CT both direction and LT both direction.
Supply and Erection of DSL trailing cable type : The details of DSL to be provided by Contractor for CT & LT and in scope of Contractor.
Remote Control: Push Button Type Radio Remote control for all motions shall be supplied. Radio remote control should be multi speed steps of operation. The unit work with rechargeable batteries. Battery charger to be provided along with the unit & rechargeable batteries.
Painting Instructions:
(a) Surface Cleaning: Girder to be shot blasted or chemically treated for surface cleaning, after completion of all operations but prior to painting. Contractor to furnish the details of facilities for Shot Blasting M/c at their/OEM's works.
(b) Painting: One coat of Red Oxide Primer with 25 micron DFT (Dry Film Thickness) and 48 hours of compulsory curing after painting
(c) The crane should be thoroughly cleaned and final painting with two coats of Enamel Paint (Colour –Golden Yellow) each with a DFT of 25 micron and intermittent curing of 16 hours. Final touching will be done after erection & commissioning at site if required.

Panel Board cubicle type totally enclosed with outer shell shall be made out of 3.15 mm thick sheet & MS angle section of suitable size for frame, factory fabricated, compartmentalized inner shell shall be made of out of 2.0 mm thick sheet .The Panels must be design and verified as per the IS/IEC 61439-01 & 2 with complete type test certificates for conformance to IS / IEC 61439 -1 and 2, with 65 KA 1 sec along with MCCB mounted in switch boards with aluminium bus bars conformed to IEC 61641 with internal arc containment fault level of 65 KA/03 Sec and shall be suitable for Seismeic Zone III/IV Zone including the type test conducted at ERDA/CPRI for seismic test.All MCCB/ ACB panel should be single Tier for easy cable termination.Cable termination space should be adequate to safely gland and terminate al/cu cables for the given current ratings with Form B seperation for Incoming MCCB / ACB feeders and For Outgoing MCCB feeders. The Switch board cubicles shall have steel frame work enclosed on all sides and top by CRCA sheet steel of Minimum 2.00 mm thickness.The panel shall have integral base frame of 100 MM ISMC base channel.removeable undrilled gland plates shall be fitted for bottom cable entry and making connections, earth work and PCC foundation complete comprising of the followings and specified herewith:-
