Excavation in trenches in any type of soil not exc 1.5 mtr wide and not exc 1.5 mtr in depth for laying of water pipeline and getting out in any type of soil complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer in charge.

Returning, filling in, including spreading, leveling, watering and well ramming in layers not exc 25 cm in any type of soil complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer in charge.

Removal of surplus soil to a distance not exc 50mtr and depositing where directed at a level not exc 1.5 mtr above the starting point all as directed.

Ductile iron pipe of size 150mm bore with spigot and socket ends centrifugally cement mortar lined complete with and including push on rubber joint as per IS 8329/2000 class K-9 laid in trenches, complete all as specified and as directed.

Ductile iron pipe of size 100mm bore with spigot and socket ends centrifugally cement mortar lined complete with and including push on rubber joint as per IS 8329/2000 class K-9 laid in trenches, complete all as specified and as directed.

Air release valve confirming to IS-14845 with two air outlets 50mm dia and fixing with rising main 150mm bore Ductile iron pipe duly making hole by any means not more than 50mm dia, making clamps ( two flaps) fabricated out of 75 mm long MS plate 10mm thick and 150mm wide bent to shape making two nos suitable holes on both sides of each flap making 50mm hole in one hole and welding 50mm dia GI socket, fixing on rising mains with 3mm thick rubber inserting sheets and suitable nuts,bolts and washers (4 Nos) and 50mm bore GI pipe medium grade one metre long duly threaded at both ends and fixed on 50mm socket at one end and other ends fixed with air release valve for fixing up in water supply rising main after making holes by any means including insertion of GI pipeline of 50mm dia at one end and fixing of air release valve at other end, complete all as specified and as directed.

Taking up cast iron / ductile iron water mains 150mm bore (including all fittings), with spigot and socket ends and lead joints including burning out joints and recovering lead and connections for refixing or removal to store, complete all as specified and as directed.

Relaying of old serviceable iron pipe 150mm bore and connections as obtained from taking up or down pipes including cleaning of pipe (externally & internally) by using wire brush, water etc and fixing the old pipe with new fittings at new / old position, complete all as specified and directed.

Relaying of old serviceable iron pipe 100mm bore and connections as obtained from taking up or down pipes including cleaning of pipe (externally & internally) by using wire brush, water etc and fixing the old pipe with new fittings at new / old position, complete all as specified and directed.

Cast iron / Ductline iron fittings spigot and socket/flanged for pipes upto 150mm bore such as bends (any type radius and angle )tapers any type (straight,bend) Tee , joint piece single branch,Y junction ,double branch cross (all socket or sockets and spigot or all flanged ends), collar caps and plug, connecting piece, one end flanged and other socketed or spigot or bell mouth with joints including jointing material complete all as specified.The fittings shall be as per latest IS. Note: Cost of rubber tyton joints shall be deemed to be included in the unit rates.

Cast iron Sluice valve class PN 1.6 both end flanged and drilled with non rising forged Stainless steel spindle (without any by pass arrangement ) including jointing material such as rubber gasket, nuts, bolts, washers etc. complete suitable for 150mm bore pipe confirming to BS 5163 and IS 14096-2000, complete all as specified and as directed.

Construction of 230mm thick brick masonary valve chamber built in CM 1:6 for valve pit of size (1200x1200x1200mm) internal dimentions with 100mm thick foundation using PCC 1:4:8 type D-2, using 40mm graded crushed stone aggregate, with 100mm offset 15mm thick plastering internally and 15mm thick plastering externally in CM 1:6 up to 15 cm below GL, 3mm thick MS sheet cover, double door welded to 50mmx50mmx6mm MS angle iron frame fixed with hold fasts in PCC 1:2:4 type B1, coping 50mm thick in PCC 1:2:4 type B-1, 20mmx6mm flat iron hinges with locking arrangements including lock 65mm brass and keys, MS handles and applying one coat of red oxide primer and two coats of synthetic enamel paint to all steel surfaces including excavation and earth work in any type of soil and disposal of surplus soil to a distance not exceeding 50mtr, complete all as specified and as directed.

Run lead joint including jointing material suitable for 150mm bore spigot and socket pipes and fittings, complete all as specified and directed.

Cross arms, bracings, supports clamps and back plates fabricated from structural steel sections incl. nuts, bolts, washers, welding, bending cold or hot drilling holes for bolts in any shape or size as indicated or directed and inclusive of two coat of aluminium paint over a coat of red oxide primer including preparing the surface, complete all as specified and directed.

Cutting of existing cast iron pipe of size 100mm by any means in position for insertion of DI fitting viz Tee, collar, bend, or tail piece etc for 100mm bore pipe complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge. Note: DI fitting shall be measured under relevant item.

Cutting of existing cast iron pipe of size 150mm by any means in position for insertion of DI fitting viz Tee, collar, bend, or tail piece etc for 150mm bore pipe complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge. Note: DI fitting shall be measured under relevant item.

Rubber gasket joint including jointing material suitable for 150mm bore Ductile iron pipe and fittings, complete all as specified and directed.

Rubber gasket joint including jointing material suitable for 100mm bore Ductile iron pipe and fittings, complete all as specified and directed.

PCC (1:1.5:3) type A-1 (using 20mm graded stone aggregate ) cover slab of size 300mm wide and 600mm height and 100 mm thick oval shape on top .The precast slab shall be embedded 300 mm below GL in PCC(1:3:6) of size 450mmx450mmx450mm) including engraved the words in capital letters of size 5cm height and 2cm width "MES WATER MAIN" including necessary surface finish with plastering 10mm thick in CM (1:3)and two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of primer including necessary excavation of size 310mmx150mmx300mm and removing, complete all as directed.
