OFFICERS' & TRAINEES' HOSTEL

Sweeping, cleaning & wet mopping of "Officers' Hostel" (except room area), passages, canteens, staircase only including washing & cleaning of common toilets, bath including attached dado / skirting, urinal partitions, cleaning & disinfecting w.c. pans, wash basins, urinal etc. with necessary chemicals including dusting of furniture, door, windows, walls etc. on all working day complete and including cleaning of terrace and plinth protection once in every week etc all complete as per attached specifications & directions of Engineer - in - charge .

Notes: -

1) Rate includes all the materials, labours, tools required for execution of this item & nothing extra shall be paid on this account.

2) Rate also includes washing & disinfecting materials for cleaning of toilets.

3) Cleaning and other operations found unsatisfactory in full or part shall be done more than once in a day as desired by the Engineer-in-charge. Nothing extra shall be paid on this account.

4) Rate also includes disposal of garbage out side of campus & nothing extra shall be paid on this account.

5) Rate also includes removing vegetations on building plinth.

6) Rate also includes cleaning of drain peripherial to officers' Hostel and removing of jungle/vigitation all round the officers' Hostel as per the direction and satisfaction of E-in-C.

(a) Officers' Hostel

Sweeping, cleaning & wet mopping of "Officers' Hostel Room", balcony, wardrobe, attached toilets including attached dado / skirting, balcony railing, cleaning & disinfecting wc. pans, wash basin etc. with necessary chemicals including dusting of furniture, door, window, walls etc.complete in every third day whether it is occupied or not from hygienic point of view as per attached specifications & directions of Engineer - in - charge.

3) Cleaning and other operations found unsatisfactory in full or part shall be done more than once in a day as desired by the Engineer-in-charge. Nothing extra shall be paid on this account.

4) Rate also includes disposal of garbage out side of campus & nothing extra shall be paid on this account.

(5) The Contractor will carry out cleaning work immediately within 12 Hrs from the issue of instruction failing which work shall be carried out at his risk & cost and same shall be recovered from any amount due / laying with BSNL .

(6) The Contractor will carry out the cleaning work of all the rooms in every third day whether it is occupied or not from hygienic point of view, failing which work shall be carried out at his risk & cost and same shall be recovered from any amount due / laying with BSNL .

(a) Officers' Hostel with attached toilet.

Activity of Item No.2 will be carried out regularly in case occupant is there.

Providing arrangement for making day to day entry of new Officer's / visitors in register at reception updating of maintenance of complain register / computer and other duties related to provide necessary services to Officers / visitors etc. at Officer's Hostel as per direction of Engineer - In- Charge . This arrangement shall be from 6.00 AM to 10.00 PM.

Providing arrangement for making day to day entry of new visitors in register / computer updating of other data related to Visitors etc. at reception at the entrance of ARTTC building as per direction of Engineer - In - Charge . This arrangement shall be of working hours on working days .

Washing of one set of bed sheet, pillow cover and towel with detergent including hot pressing of the same. This includes taking out the materials and stacking the same in right position as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge (Payment shall be made per set of bed sheets 2 nos, towel - 1 no and pillow cover - 1 no) washing to be done once in a week or when-ever occupancy changes.

Washing of mosquito net with detergents & clean water properly as per direction and satisfaction of Engineer - In -Charge.(Once in every six months)

Wet washing of curtains cloth with approved detergent and iron press including taking out the curtain cloth from curtain roads and refixing the same to the curtain roads complete as per direction of Engineer-in-charge.
