REPAIRS TO ROOF TREATMENT AND RECTIFICATION OF SEEPAGE LEAKAGE AND CERTAIN ALLIED WORKS IN CERTAIN BUILDINGS AT R AND DE E DIGHI PUNE 15

Dismantling G.S. Sheet plain or corrugated steel sheeting any gauge, thickness, including Nainital or similar pattern roof covering any type pattern in roofing including ridges, hips, valleys and gutters etc.,if required dismantling iron work included and stacking the material within 50 metres lead Land complete all as specified and directed. Note : Work will be executed at any height. Hence necessary scaffloding and all sefety precaution deemed to be included under rate quoted by contractor.

M & L for precoated galvanised iron profile sheets (size, shape and pitch of corrugation as approved by Engineer-in-Charge) of total coated thickness 0.50mm (base metal of minimum 0.45mm thickness with total coating thickness of 0.05mm) with zinc coating 120 grams per sqm as per IS: 277, in 240 mpa steel grade, 5-7 microns epoxy primer on both side of the sheet and polyester top coat 15-18 microns. Sheet should have protective guard film of 25 microns minimum to avoid scratches during transportation and should be supplied in single length upto 12 metre or as desired by Engineer-in-charge. The sheet shall be fixed using self drilling /self tapping screws of size (5.5x 55 mm) with EPDM seal, complete upto any pitch in horizontal/ vertical or curved surfaces, excluding the cost of purlins, rafters and trusses and including cutting to size and shape wherever required Land complete all as specified and directed. M & L for precoated galvanised steel sheet in Ridges plain (500 - 600mm) roofing accessories of total coated thickness 0.50mm (base metal of minimum 0.45mm thickness with total coating thickness of 0.05mm) with Zinc coating 120 grams per sqm as per IS: 277, in 240 mpa steel grade, 5-7 microns epoxy primer on both side of the sheet and polyester top coat 15-18 microns using self drilling/ self tapping screws complete all as specified by Engineer-in-charge. M & L for Structural steel work riveted, bolted or welded in built up sections, trusses and framed work, including cutting, hoisting, fixing in position and applying a priming coat of approved steel primer all complete. Confirming to IS 1161-1979 grade St- 240 Land complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for painting to steel surfaces with two coats including preparation of surfaces complete all as specified & directed.

Removing old APP membrane of any thickness and description carefully without damaging the mother slab from roof and disposing off out side MD Land complete all as specified and directed.

Demolishing cement concrete manually/ by mechanical means as per direction of Engineer - in - charge.Nominal concrete 1:3:6 or richer mix (i/c equivalent design mix) without damaging the mother slab from roof and disposing off out side MD Land complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for cement concrete in retaining walls, return walls, walls (any thickness) including attached pilasters, columns, piers, abutments, pillars, posts, struts, buttresses, string or lacing courses, parapets, coping, bed blocks, anchor blocks, plain window sills, fillets, sunken floor etc., up to floor five level, including the cost of centering, shuttering and finishing:1:2:4 (1 Cement : 2 coarse sand (zone-III) derived from natural sources : 4 graded stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size derived from natural sources) Land complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for waterproofing treatment to sound, moisture free concrete surface. System includes proper surface preparation to remove loose dust, dirt, loose mortar, curing compound etc., carry out cementitious injection grouting at leakage points and construction joints using cement slurry modified with Cebex 100-Plasticised or equivelent expandive grout admixture supplied in 225 gm pouch, treatment of construction joints using polymer modified mortar prepared by using Nitobond SBR Latex or equivalent , application of polymer modified vatta at floor-wall junction, filling of annular space around rain water outlet using Conbextra GP2 - Non-shrink cementitious grout or equivalent. any undulated surface and pot holes shall be filled with Epoxy mortar to obtain sound/levelled surface. Application of epoxy primer Nitoproof WB Primer or equivalent on sound mother slab surface. Followed by application of two coats of Nitoproof 600PF - Liquid applied single component pitch free polyurethane coating supplied in 25 kg drum coverage of min @ 2.3 kg/m2 to achieve 1.5 mm dry film thickness in two coats placing glass fibric reinforcemnt min 225 gsm between 1st coat and second coats complete including all tools and tackles as per manufacturer’s specifications. Coating shall be having crack bridging of 2 mm, Elongation (ASTMD 412) > Min 500 %, Tensile Strength (ASTM D412) – 2.5 N/mm2, Recovery from Elongation (ASTM D412) – 95 %, Min 80% Solid Content, Tear Resistance (ASTM D624) – 15 Kn/m, Shore A Hardness (ASTM D2240) – 50, Water vapour transmission not more than 1g/m2/hr, Water Permeability (DIN 1048) – Nil, Service Temperature – -40°C to 70°C, Flash Point > 70 °C HSE Guidelines: It is recommended to provide adequate general and local exhaust ventilation, provide protection to eye, face, hand and other skin by wearing appropriate gloves, goggles, face shields, respiratory protection etc. as directed in SDS of the product. : Note : work should be executed only through authorised company applicator and company as well as contractor should give written gurantee for 7 years for roof treatment to the department and if any leakage or seepage during gurantee period. contractor as well as company are responsible for the same and rectified without no extra cost Land complete all as specified and directed.
