E/M SCHEDULE

Supply, installation, testing and commissioning of silent, Diesel engine driven factory assembled mounted on trolley generating set of capacity 750 KVA/600 KW at 0.8 power factor or nearest higher size, 3 phase, 4 wire, 50 Hz, 1500 RPM as per IS 10001/10002 complete with safety control and metering equipments mounted on & including common base frame with acoustic enclosure (canopy), weather proof as per CPCB norms, powder coated all as per manufacturer's instructions manual and all as specified and comprising of the items/ accessories listed hereinafter:-

(A) Prime Mover : Directly coupled diesel engine, water cooled suitably de-rated of matching BHP for driving 750 KVA capacity, alternator electric start, four stroke confirming to latest IS-10001/10002 for continuous running complete with following accessories:- (i) Fly wheel to suit flexible coupling. (ii) Flexible coupling with guards. (iii) Air cleaner with filters. (iv) Lubricating oil filter (v) Heavy duty radiator assembly with fan. (vi) Anti-vibration pad as recommended by manufacturers. (vii) PT pump with electronic governor of suitable capacity. (viii) Self starter 24 volts DC. (ix) Necessary arrangement for charging battery. (x) Maintenane free battery 12 volts, duly charged - 02 No, capacity as supported by manufacturer and as recommended by manufacturer alongwith flexible copper battery lead and connector, Make : EXIDE/AMCO/STANDARD as approved by GE. (xi) Battery rack made out of MS angle iron 40 mm x 40 mm x 5 mm & 150 mm height - 02 No. (xii) Standard safety device. (xiii) Daily services fuel tank for full running capacity of DG set for min 12 hours enclosed within the canopy all as per CPCB with level indicator inlet, fuel outlet drain plug, air vent and locking arrangements etc including fuel pipe connections with connected GI pipe medium grade from fuel tank to DG set and over flow from the DG set to fuel tank complete with gate valve. (xiv) Exhaust system with Retrofit emission control device as per CPCB norms shall be provided with thermal insulation by using fire retardant/ non igniting foam conforming to BS-4735 to prevent excess heat radiation on the engine and safe for operator

(xv) Mechanical panel having following accessories :- (aa) Digital Lubrication oil temperature guage - 01 No. (ab) Digital Lubrication oil pressure guage - 01 No. (ac) Digital Water temperature guage - 01 No. (ad) Starting switch with key - 01 No. (ae) Fuel level % indicator, Battery charging indicator (ae) Battery voltmeter. (af) Indicator lamp etc.(ag) Digital Ammeter DC-01 No.(ah) Digital RPM meter-01 No.(aj) Safety measures :(i) Low lubricant oil pressure trip.(ii) High coolant temp trip.(iii) Engine over speed trip.(iv) Battery charging alternator.(v) External Emergency stop pressed. (b) Alternator : 750 KVA at 0.8 power factor, self regulated 3 phase with neutral 415 volts 50 Hz 1500 RPM as per IS : 13364 complete with automatic voltage regulator and foot mounted including making cable connection. The salient feature of alternator are as under :- (i) Voltage regulation under static condition + 1.5%. (ii) Class 'H' insulation. (iii) Permanently lubricating bearing. (c) Repair tools and 2 years maintenance spare parts as per following:-

(e) ACCOUSTIC ENCLOSURE :- OEM made Acoustic enclosure (canopy) suitable for 750 KVA DG with the following provisions/ specifications :- (i) The enclosure fabricated out of CRCA sheet of 14 SWG suitable to accommodate the DG Set properly. (ii) The sheet metal components are hot dip seven tank pretreated. (iii) It is pure polyester based powder coated (inside as wall as outside). All nuts/bolts/hardwares are zinc coated with salt spray test as per ASTMB- 117. (iv) Battery is accommodated in a tray in the enclosure. (v) The doors are fitted with gasket with high quality EPON gasketed to avoid leakage of sound. (vi) Sound proofing of enclosure is done with high quality rock wool/mineral wool conforming to IS 8131 of 50 mm thickness and density of 96 kg/cum. (vii) The wool is further covered with fiber glass cloth and perforated powder coated sheet, insulation level conforming to UL 94 HF1 class flammability. (viii) A special residential silencer is provided within the enclosure to control exhaust noise. (ix) Specially designed alternators are provided to control sound at air entry to the container and exhaust from the container. (x) Adequate ventilation is provided to meet requirement for combustion and heat removal. If required a blower is used to meet total air requirement and air changes. (xi) Temperature of enclosure does not exceed beyond 50 degree C of ambient temperature. (xii) The enclosure is provided with “high enclosure temperature” safety device. (xiii) There is provision of emergency shutdown from outside the enclosure. (xiv) There is arrangement for proper illumination inside the canopy. (xv) Noise level is 75 DB (A) at 1 mtr distance. (xvi) Approved by CPCB.

Note :- (i) The DG Set shall be suitable derated to suit the climatic condition of Tuticorin of TN so as to give desired output including 10% over load. (ii) The DG Set shall be suitable for auto main failure function. (iii) The DHPP (fuel) required for testing of DG sets is deemed to be included in above quoted rate. (iv) Phase I test will be carried out by Engineer-in-charge for no load and 100% load for 1 hour each and phase II test will be carried out in presence of SEI/EI/IEM/Rep of accepting officer for no load, 25%, 50%, 75%, 100% for 11 hours and 110% for 1 hour over load. (v) CPCB Norms :- DG Set should be as per CPCB-II Norms emission limit (g/KWH)standard as follows :- a) Oxides of Nitrogen + Hydrocarbon (NOx +HC ≤ 4.7) b) Carbon Monoxide (CO ≤ 3.5) c) Particulate Matter (PM ≤0.3) d) Smoke Limit (Light Absorption Coefficient, m-1) ≤0.7 (vi) Cost of appropriate size of UG cable from alternator to DG Control LT panel is deemed to be inclusive in the quoted rate.

Earthing complete with Copper earth plate electrode of size 600 mm x 600 mm x 3.15 mm thick buried directly to ground vertically to a depth not less than 2.25 Mtr below the ground level with top edge of earth plate not less than 1.5 Mtr below normal ground level connected to Copper strip 20 x 3 mm size and earthing lead protected with 50 mm dia GI pipe light grade filling around with charcoal dust and salt including excavation, returning, filling of earth and disposal of surplus soil to a distance not exceeding 50 mtr and connected to Copper strip by means of Copper nuts, bolts and washers strip connected to earth plate including chamber PCC 1 : 3 : 6 type C1. using 20 mm graded stone aggregate in concrete pit pre-cast RCC 40 mm thick reinforced with 6 mm dia bars at the rate of 75 mm C/C both way with 12 mm dia mild steel plain bar lifting handle 2 Nos funnel with wire mesh 20 mm dia GI pipe light grade watering pipe and frame work complete all as shown in electrical plate No. 5 of SSR Part - I 1991 including testing complete. (GI strip upto 7.5 m length in included in unit rate quoted by contractor and beyond this lengths the same shall be measured & paid separately.

Provision of 11 MT capacity trolley with size of 10m X 2.75m X 1.5m for 750 KVA Silent Diesel Generator set, outdoor type, factory fabricated and manufactured with MS sheet, angle irons, channels etc, and all structural material shall confirm to IS 2062. The detailed specification of the trolley are as follows Tires: 10.20 (front wheel) 2 nos and 10.20 (rear wheel) 4 nos heavy duty (JK tyre or equivalent) Axle kit assembly: Make – ADR or equivalent Wheel disk: Make – HYT or equivalent Suspension: Johnaswood or equivalent leaf suspension. Main beam: 250 I-Beam All structural material: Confirms to IS2062 Axle: 12MT capacity, One Front axle and one rear axle. Trailer will be manufactured with 2 speed landing leg arrangement (YORK), airline braking System (WABCO), plate type turn table arrangement for towing, clamps for mounting. Spare wheel carrier: Trailer will be provisioned with one spare wheel of same size carrier with 1 spare wheel Trailer platform with 4 mm MS chequered plate and shall be provisioned with toolbox and basic tool kit, trailer shall be painting with two coat Zinc primer and 2 coat enamel paint as specified. Trolley shall have hydraulic jack, toe rod, pulling chain air filling pump including provision of fixing cable bobbin with bracket assembly set and LT Panel with bus bar all as specified and as approved by Engr-in-charge. The Contractor will submit detail drawings of trolley to GE (I) (CG) chennai for approval before manufacturing.

Supply and fix cable bobbin with bracket assembly set of OD 900mm, ID 500mm, width 500mm (end to end). The outer frame shall be made with MS Pipe and hub housed with bearings and holding rod. The cable bobbin shall be Rust Proof, Corrosion Resistance all as specified and directed. Note:- The rate quoted by the contractor shall include the rate for provn of cable bobbib on the trolley for kept the cables for ready to use position.

Supply of single core 240 sq.mm (each flexible cable 600/1000V),with minimum 800 Amps capacity, made up of multi stranded annealed electrolytic tinned copper conductor with EPR insulated and overall extruded PCP (Type SE-4), additional H.O.F.R. Note: The rate quoted by the contractor shall include the rate for provn of 06 nos of copper lugs (both ends), each cable of length 100 m

Supply of 2 Nos external diesel storage tank of material stainless steel of each capacity 1000 Ltrs of each size 1.2 X 1.2 X 1.2 m with sheet of size 5mm thick along with interconnection of these two tanks with flexible rubber fuel hoses of suitable size and interconnection with the inbuild diesel tank of 750 KVA DG Set with necessary inlet and outer valves in each tank with diesel level indication and overfill prevention device, all are comprised, fixed over RCC Platform with proper welding and concreting all as specified and directed. Note: Stainless Steel tank shall be provided with four legs (one in each corner) at 30cm length to erect in the RCC platform and welded with reinforcement of RCC Platform for suitable pivoting and seating.

B/R SCHEDULE

M &L for RCC M-30 design mix controlled concrete (using 20mm graded aggregate) in foundations, including rafts, footings, foundation beams; plinth beams; bases for columns, etc.; basement slabs, under-reamed piles and mass concrete

Corrosion resistance TMT bars of grade Fe 500 of bars 10mm dia and over, cut to length, bent to shape required, including cranking, bending spirally for hooping for columns, hooking ends and binding with and including mild steel wire (annealed) not less than 0.9mm dia or securing with clips all as specified

Plain cement concrete Type D2 1:4:8 (using 40mm graded aggregate) in foundation filling and mass concrete.

Excavation in trenches, n.exc 1.5m wide & n.exc 1.5m in depth, for foundation, etc and getting out soft and loose soil complete all as specified and as directed.

Removing excavated material exc 1.5 km and depositing where directed at a level n exc 5 Km above the starting point complete all as specified and as directed.

Formwork to sides of concrete foundations, footings, bases of columns, raft and raft beams, sides and soffits (if any) of foundation and plinth beams; and similar work; vertical or to batter complete all as specified and as directed.

Formwork to staircase for fair finished with sloping or slepped soffits including riser and stringers (excluding landing) complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for RCC M-30 design mix controlled concrete (using 20mm graded aggregate) in Chullah hoods; stairways (except spiral staircases) including steps (square or spandril), string pieces, carriages, etc., complete, any section straight or winding, but excluding landings; RCC water tanks upto 1500 litres

M&L for 15mm thick rendering in cement mortar 1:4 on fair faces of brick work or concrete surfaces, finished even and smooth without using extra cement including WPC complete all as specified and as directed.
