Providing and fixing of New Lights in place of old, missing non LED garden street light in Sector- 20 and 30 Chandigarh. (Ward No. 18)

Supply and Erection of 2.5” dia. G.I. Pipe pole 4.5 Mtrs long. Supply, Fabrication & Erection of 2.5” dia G.I. pipe pole having length 4.5 long, B class (medium) Jindal/ Tata/ Birla make ISI marked. The pole shall be erected 3’ below ground level in 8” dia. RCC muff ready made. The gap between the pole and muff shall be filled with cement concrete in ratio of 1:2:4 and making required no. of holes in the pole including carriage of pole to the site of work including all labour and material required to complete the job including suitable size of nipple welded with the pipe. Material to be (Jindal, Hissar or better brand Only). The cost includes a plinth of cement concrete of 12”x12” size and 2” thick. The work shall be executed to the entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-Charge.

Pipe (Medium Class) Pole Arm/ Bracket for mounting LED Street Lighting/Fitting on pole cement/tubular including bending the pipe of the required shape (90 to 105 deg), 2 nos. required size (suitable for cemented and circular pole) Flat Iron Clamps with Nut, Bolts and Washer. GI Coating/ Painting the flat iron with primer and finish paint as per relevant tender specifications or other material required to fix the bracket and work must be completed to the entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-charge. The bracket is to be fixed on RCC/ Steel Tubular Pole with the help of M.S. Clamps including welding and drilling of holes and complete in all respect including labour and other petty items required to complete the job upto the entire satisfaction of the Engineer-in-Charge.The Make of the G.I. pipe should be of Tata/ Jindal/ Hissar or Ravindra.

Painting & Numbering of Poles 4.5/6 Mtr. Long:- (With Snowcem) Painting of poles above ground level with two coats of Silver/Green paint of Nerolec/ Asian/ ICI duly approved by the Engineer-in-charge. The pole surface should be cleaned well by removing dust/ rust & other depositions & smoothened with the sand paper/Iron brush & proper filling be made before painting. For numbering of poles the base should be painted with yellow and the number should be written in black letters of 3” in length. The Cement collar around the pole should be painted with two coats of good quality White colour snowcem. The Danger sign's shall be written on each pole on it's two sides with red paint on yellow base to be show to warning about hazard as threats which are essential to safety for General Public. The work shall be completed to the to the entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-charge.

The pole surface should be cleaned well by removing dust/ rust & other depositions & smoothened with the sand paper/Iron brush & proper filling be made before painting. For numbering of poles the base should be painted with yellow and the number should be written in black letters of 3” in length. The cost includes painting of Danger Sticker in Existing Street Light Poles. The Danger sign's shall be written on each pole on it's two sides with red paint on yellow base to be show to warning about hazard as threats which are essential to safety for General Public. The job includes all type of petty material require to complete the job to the entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-charge.

Painting & Numbering of Poles 10/12 Mtr. Long:- (With Snowcem) Painting of poles above ground level with two coats of Silver paint of Nerolec/ Asian/ ICI duly approved by the Engineer-in-charge. The pole surface should be cleaned well by removing dust/ rust & other depositions & smoothened with the sand paper/Iron brush & proper filling be made before painting. For numbering of poles the base should be painted with yellow and the number should be written in black letters of 3” in length. S/E of CC Collars including following:- a) The box shall be enclosed in a cement collar made from cement concrete 1:2:4 with outside dia 16”. b) The collar shall be embedded in the group upto 6” shall stand 9” above ground shall have housed 12” high SMC Box and 6” top over the box. c) The collar shall be provided with 2 G.I. Pipe of 40mm dia and 45cm long to facilitate entry of cables in the junction box after digg out the cable loops from earth complete in all respects, connections etc. d) The collar shall be plastered properly finished, curing and painted with 2 coats of Apex paint of superior quality. e) Providing and Fixing junction box of size 250x200x100mm inside dimensions of thermosetting sheet moulding compound material of robust construction with double hinge, side clamp locking arrangement. The existing ckt cable loops be made properly connection after digging from the earth and refilling the same position. There should be a terminal Strip (Thimble type) 30 amp, one no. Kitkat, rating suitable for minimum 4x16 sq.mm aluminum cable termination. The sheath of the armoured cable should be properly thimbed with the pole for proper earthing. Curing of CC Collar must be done as per satisfaction of Engineer-in-charge. The junction box should have two numbers PVC Glands with sufficient space for cable entry and loose wires complete in all respect.

Dismantling of existing damaged/broken old bollard lights/CC Collar, Jallies alongwith junction box, wire and C.C. foundation etc. and other material complete in all respect to the satisfaction of Engg-in-charge. The entire “malba” shall be disposed off and send to C & D plant Industrial Area Phase-I.The contractor shall hand over the dismantled material to the J.E-in-Charge at central store in proper form duly accounted or the same may be considered as recovery/ buyback as per conditions of DNIT.

Dismantling of existing Tilted Pole/ Accidental Steel tubular/ Octagonal pole 7.5/9/10 Mtr. Long along with Junction Box, fittings with Wire & bracket etc. & other material complete in all respect to the satisfaction of Engineer-in-Charge. The entire “malba” shall be disposed off and send to C & D plant Industrial Area Phase-I.The contractor shall hand over the dismantled material to the J.E-in-Charge at central store in proper form duly accounted or the same may be considered as recovery/ buyback as per conditions of DNIT.

Supply & Erection of steel tubular pole 410 SP-27 conforming to IS-2713-1980, (Part-I & II) having overall length of 9 Meter and welded in 3 steps and having approximate Wt. 108 Kgs. With the following specifications:- a) The poll shall have cross-sectional length of 5.00, 2.00, 2.00 Mtrs. b) The outside dia and thickness shall be114.3x5.40mm, 88.9x4.85mm and 76.1x3.25mm. c) The pole shall be erected 1.50mtrs. Below the ground level in 8” internal ready made RCC muff. d) The gap between the pole and the muff shall be filled with the cement concrete 1:2:4.The cost includes all labour and material including carriage to the site of work. e) The bottom portion of the pole shall be painted with two coats of black paint after removing the dust/rust. The work shall be executed to the entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-Charge.
