MANNING AND OPERATION FOR WATER SUPPLY DISTRIBUTION NETWORK AND BOREWELLS AT BRICHGUNJ MIL STN UNDER GE BRICHGUNJ

Outsoursing of services for manning and operation of bore well of Inf Bn No 1&2, signal coy, 154TA BN & 282 FD wksp, sea view enclave & ANCEPTA -04 pocket and recording the water filing details and operating bore wells and entering timings in a register and operating the electric control panel/ switches and including pumpsets, control vales by employing Two FGM per shift in one shift of 8hrs per day including Sunday and holidays at Brichgunj Mil Station complete all as specified directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Note: (a) 08 hours will be treated as one shift and timing of shift will be as decided by Engineer-in-charge. (b) Daily log sheet including running hours, maintenance carried out shall be maintained by the FGM on duty in the installation and the same shall be periodically checked and signed by JE E/M and Engineer-in-charge. (c) The FGM employed will carry out the daily/ routine maintenance of plant and any defects / shortcomings noticed shall be intimated to JE. (d) General cleaning of installation premises including clearing of vegetation and wild growth in and around shall be carried out all as per directed by the Engineer-in-Charge

(e) Contractor shall ensure the following provisions as laid down in Contract Labour Act 1970 such as payment of minimum fair wages, working conditions etc are complied with by the contractor.. (f) Proper raincoat, uniform with name plates displaying all the details shall be provided to the duty personnel by the contractor. If the Valve man/SSK found without uniform and in rainy season without raincoat a recovery of 500.00 per day per person will be recovered from dues of contractor. (g) Contractor shall provide Mobile telephones with free incoming facility to receive call from departmental staff.

Outsoursing of services for manning and operation for distribution of water in 154TA and 282 Fd wksp, Bde HQ, Sea view area and Chitnis enclave of Para 11 pump house, MES complex area , MES Civilian accn, JCOs mess and living area, Crusher lane, signal vihar and ANCEPTA area, Sinhagad enclave area, INF Bn 1&2 area, Ranjit vihar area, chidiyatapu Md accn at Brichgunj Mil Stn area and also assisting in regular maintenance and up keeping of water supply installations, shifting of stores etc by employing fourteen valve men per shift of 8 hours per day including Sunday and holiday all as specified and directed.

(a) 08 hours will be treated as one shift and timing of shift will be as decided by Engineer-in-charge. (b) The person employed shall be responsible for opening and closing of main sluice valves near OH reservoir/ branch valves of distribution network, control valves of each Bldg/ Qtr, checking and monitoring of over flow/ leakages/ malfunctioning of float valves if any and shall be report to JE for rectification (c) General maintenance/ cleaning of installation premises including clearing of vegetation and wild growth in and around pump, valve chamber etc shall be carried out all as per directed by the Engineer-in-Charge d) All the tools required for carrying out the job shall be provide by the contractor.
