Demolition of cement concrete (un-reinforced) in ground floors and pavings not exceeding 15 cm thickness below or above ground level complete all as specified and directed.

Demolition of reinforced cement concrete (reinforcement cut as required to facilitate demolition) in any position not otherwise specifically provided for complete all as specified and directed.

Dismantling floor, hearth or wall tiling including cement mortar bedding (but not backing), removing serviceable tiles to store and rubbish off the premises complete all as specified and directed.

Demolition and breaking up drain pipes (salt glazed stone ware, AC or reinforced concrete) set in cement mortar including PCC bedding and haunching/completely surrounding etc complete all as specified and directed.

M & L providing precast cement concrete 1:2:4 type B1 (using 20mm graded stone aggregate) as in landings, cover slabs (for man holes etc.) chullah hoods, chajjas, water troughs, mangers, shelves and similar articles with plain faces joint as directed and setting in CM 1:4 complete all as specified and directed. (Note :- Reinforcement shall be measured and paid for separately under respective items of the BOQ.)

M & L for TMT bars 8 mm dia, cut to length, bent to shape required, including cranking, bending spirally for hooping for columns, hooking ends and binding with and including mild steel wire (annealed) not less than 0.9 mm dia or securing with clips, complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for 20 mm thick screed bed or bedding layer in cement mortar 1:6 for laying floor finishes complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for Pavement floor vitrified tiles of size exc 0.09cm but not exc 0.36cm 10mm thick (Endura tiles of Johnson or equivalent makes listed in List of Makes) set, jointed and pointed in neat cement slurry and pointed with grey cement and pigment to match the colour of tiles in floor complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for 100mm thick precast (factory casted) cement Concrete kerb stone casted in PCC (1:2:4) type B-1 using 20mm graded stone aggregate with plain or interlocking joints (as directed), making groove in existing road of desired dimension, placing in erect position Kerb stone in edging and set and jointed in cement mortar 1:4, making good distrubed surface of ground complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for 100mm thick PCC 1:4:8 type D-2 using 40mm graded stone aggregate as in sub base complete all as directed.

M & L for 60mm thick PVC moulded precast interlocking paving blocks factory casted using grey cement and pigment, casted in an automatic plant working on vibration and simultaneous hydraulic compression from top, confirming to IS-15658-2006 and of shape haxagon/ triangular/ zigzag/ I-shaped etc. as directed having compressive strength not less than 350 Kg/ Sqcm laid over and including 25 to 30mm thick layer of sand cushioning including filling the interstices with & including sand and interstices on edges filled with PCC 1:2:4 type B-1 finished even and smooth without using extra cement complete all as directed.

M & L for cement concrete in pavement/ hardstanding having a minimum works test beam flexural strength of 40 kg. per Sqcm at 28 days using not less than 400 Kg of cement per cum of finished concrete, coarse sand and graded stone aggregate of 40mm nominal size in appropriate proportions as per specified in design criteria approved by GE, thickness of concrete 25 cm or less, mechanically vibrated using needle and surface vibrators including use and waste of steel form work with sturdy mild steel channel sections in bays between joints i.e. Contraction, expansion joint/or between the two construction joints complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for forming 20mm thick expansion joints filled with pre-formed bituminous filler board and top 30mm primed and sealed with sealing compound, Grade ‘B’ for 250mm (Max) thick concrete slab complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for forming Contraction (Dummy) joints 65mm deep x 10mm wide filled with sealing compound, Grade ‘B’ complete all as specified and directed.

S & F reinforced concrete pipes, class NP-2, laid and jointed complete with collars and tested complete all as specified and directed for following bore pipes:-

M & L for PCC 1:3:6 type C-2 (using 40 mm graded stone aggregate) as in bedding to SGSW/NP-2 drain pipe of any dia including packing under and completely surrounding against the sides of the pipes after they are laid and tested complete all as specified and directed.

Scarifying or picking gravelled, macadam or bituminous macadam surfaces in area not exc 400 sqm and exc 50 mm but n.exc 100 mm deep and removing to a distance not exceeding 50m and stacking complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for preparing existing black top surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc, sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surfaces with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc and applying evenly a priming/tack coat of paving bitumen VG-10 @ 5 kg per 10 Sqm complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for premix bituminous macadam (consolidated thickness 75 mm or less) using 4% binder (paving bitumen VG-10) content by weight of total mix for repairs to road edges, in filling depressions, for filling pot holes, laid, rolled and compacted to required gradient and camber using 8 to 12 tonne power roller or for formation of speed breakers in shape as directed and compacted using 8 to 12 tonne power roller complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for repair to pot holes exc 30 mm depth n.exc 1.00 sqm each including sweeping free from dust and or water scoring sunken surfaces in roads paths etc cutting around edges at least 25mm in depth, making good by filling in screened and graded road metal, watering and well ramming (including supply of road metal), complete all as specified and directed.

MM & L for preparing unsurfaced water bound macadam surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc, sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surfaces with gunny bags to remove all dirt etc and applying evenly a priming/tack coat of paving bitumen VG-10 @ 10 kg per 10 sqm and laying bituminous premix carpet 30mm consolidated thickness with 0.405 Cum of stone chipping mixed with 21.90 Kg of binder (Paving bitumen VG-10) per 10 Sqm, rolled and consolidated with power roller exc 8 tonne but not exc 12 tonne capacity to required camber and gradient and sealed with liquid seal coat consisting and applied with binder (paving bitumen VG-10) @ 9.8 kg per 10 sqm and blinded with 6.3 mm sizestone chipping @ 0.09 cum per 10 sqm of stone chippings and rolled and consolidated with power roller exc 8 tonne but not exc 12 tonne capacity complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for cleaning and preparing road surfaces and applying 2mm thick reflective thermoplastic white or golden yellow road marking paint conforming to BIS-3262 by incorporating the white glass beads for reflectivity, laid through automatic mechanical road marking machine in a layer of CRYSTALEX for lines, dashes, arrows, Zebra marking etc in required width all as specified and as directed.

M & L for preparing old or previously treated walls surfaces by brooming down or with steel wire brushes, scrapping down smoke soot, moulds, moss and efflorescent salts and trading oil and greasy spots and applying one coat of water based acrylic antifungal/weather proof exterior emulsion paint on walls complete all as specified and directed. (Make-Apex Ultima of Asian, weather shield MAX of ICI/Dulux, weather coat long life of Beger, Acroguard 3X of Acro paint, Excel Total of Nerolac.)

M & L for cleaning and preparing road surfaces and applying white or golden yellow road marking paint (Aqua Base) for painting lines, dashes, arrows, letters, etc.on roads ALG runway, taxi track or pavements exc 10cm width complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for preparing black top surfaces by brushing with wire brushes and removing caked mud etc, sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface using air blower to remove all loose dirt etc and applying cold polymer modified emulsion (PME) at the rate of 0.75 Kg per Sqm (Undiluted) with cold emulsion sprayer machine and ensure proper finishing of runway/landing ground complete all as per manufacturers instruction and all as directed. Note:- The work shall be carried out through authorized and qualified applicator of the maufacturer only.

M & L for preparation of newly plastered or unplastered/concrete surfaces of Kerb stones of any description over 10cm girth or width not otherwise described and applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint of 1st grade quality in black, white or yellow colour in alternate bands over a coat of priming paint plaster coat complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for preparation of old painted concrete/plastered surfaces over 10cm in width or girth and applying one coat of synthetic enamel paint of 1st grade quality complete all as specified and directed.

S & F in replacement ABS Engineering plastic stud (Cat Eye) of size 100mm x 90mm x 18mm thick, dynamically designed having high impact strength and fitted with 2 Nos. highly reflective reflectors on both sides iand fixed using epoxy resin adhesive (hardner) as per manufacturer's instructions and as directed. S & F in replacement solar cat eyes (studs) made of aluminium dicasted body, 100% waterproof, both side reflectors, designed according to IP 65 of size 125mm x 125mm x 25mm with shank not less than 60mm length, high efficiency mono crystaline solar panel(2.5 V/0.3 watt), one Ni-Mh or Ni-cd rechargable battery (1.2 V/1600 MA) having six super bright LEDs with 10000 to 18000 mcd (millicandela), view distance upto 1000 metre and flush road bearing capacity 10 MT, fixing in road by drilling a hole and with epoxy hardner etc as per manufacturer's instructions at the location complete all as directed.
