CIVIL WORKS

Earthwork in excavation by mechanical/manual means over areas (exceeding 10 Sqm. in plan & 1.5 m in width) at all depths in all type of strata comprising any of the materials such as soil, silt, sand, clay, gravels, moorum of all varieties, shingles, pebbles, all types of conglomerates, all types of laterite rock, soft rock, disintegrated rock, fissured/ shattered/ decomposed rock or weathered rock and all such other materials as described under appendix to these specifications whether in full or in parts as the case may be adopting any approved method or methods as may be convenient or permitted inclusive of chiselling, wedging etc. in all conditions such as dry, moist, saturated, submerged, foul conditions etc. including dressing of sides and ramming of bottoms, including getting out the excavated soil at all lifts, including pumping or bailing out water and disposal of surplus excavated earth as directed by Engineer within a lead of 50mt and all lift etc. complete.

Refilling the pipeline/foundation trenches plinth sides, foundation etc. with available excavated earth in layers not exceeding 20 cm depth consolidating each layer ramming and watering lead upto 50 M and all lifts and disposal of surplus earth as directed by Engineer in Charge.

Rubble packing with hard laterite stone under floors including watering ramming and consolidating etc. in pipeline trenches and other foundations complete.

Laterite masonry in neatly dressed stones of size as specified in cement mortar 1: 4 (1 cement : 4 coarse sand) in foundation and basement.

Laterite masonry in neatly dressed stones of size as specified in cement mortar 1: 4 (1 cement : 4 coarse sand) in superstructure from floor I level upto floor V level.

Providing and laying exposed decorative laterite masonry in cladding using patradevi stone of average thickness 75mm laid at all heights using cement mortar 1:3 ( 1 cement : 3 coarse sand) and all other required materials ,tools,tackels,scaffholding etc.complete and as directed by Engineer.

Providing & laying cement concrete 1:2:4 (1 cement: 2 coarse sand: 4 graded granitic or basaltic stone aggrt. 20 mm. nominal size) excluding cost of centering, shuttering and finishing in:All works upto plinth level

Centering and shuttering including strutting, proping etc. and removal of form for. i) Foundations, footings, bases for columns and mass concrete

Providing TMT steel reinforcement bars of (SAIL, TATA. VIZAG, JSW Steel Ltd.) (Confirming to IS 1786 of 1986) for RCC work (conforming to I.S. 1786 of 1986) including bending, binding & placing in position in all the floors along with the factory made precast concrete cover blocks of specified sizes whose compressive strength is not less than that of surrounding concrete in the structural member.

Providing and laying in position machine batched concrete (BMC), machine mixed and machine vibrated design mix cement concrete of specified grade for reinforced cement concrete work including pumping of concrete to the site of laying but excluding the cost of centering , shuttering, finishing and reinforcement including admixtures in recommended proportions as per IS 9103 to accelerate, retard setting of concrete, improve workability without impairing the strength and durability as per the direction of the Engineer-in-charge. M25 grade of reinforced cement conrete by using 410kg of cement per cu.m. of concrete. All works upto floor V level. (RMC can be used at no extra cost)

Providing and laying factory made Shot blasted cement concrete interlocking paver block of minimum M35 grade made by heavy duty block making machine with strong vibratory compaction and of aprpoved size and design / shape laid in 50 mm thick compacted bed of coarse sand, filling the joints with coarse sand, etc. all complete as per the direction of Engineer.- in I, Wave, Rectangular, Square etc. shapes. The products should comply to IS 15658:2006 and manfucatured by ISO9001: 2008 certified plant. The shot blasting should be done using 0.4-0.5mm dia steel shots with a speed of 3200 rpm. 60 mm thick in Grey colour

Providing and laying vitrified industrial floor tiles in different sizes of Johnson, Somany, Kajaria (thickness to be specified by the manufacturer) and conforming to IS:15622 of approved make in colours and shades as specified laid on 20 mm thick cement mortar 1:4 (1 Cement : 4 Coarse sand) including grouting the joints with white cement and matching pigment etc., complete 300 x 300 mm darkShades - 10 mm thick

Providing and fixing Granite stone slabs (flamed finish) 18mm thick in risers of steps, skirting, dado and pillars laid on cement paste and jointed with grey cement slurry mixed with pigment to match the shade of the slabs, including rubbing and polishing complete

Providing and fixing vitrified glossy finished (600x600) and 10mm thick tiles in floor, treads of steps, landing on 25mm thick bed of cement mortar 1:3 and jointed with cement slurry complete.

Providing and fixing vitrified antiskid tiles (320x320) and 10mm thick tiles in floor, treads of steps, landing on 25mm thick bed of cement mortar 1:3 and jointed with cement slurry complete.

COBBLE STONE FLOORING Providing and laying of Rectagular & Square type approved colour/shade and texture Granite Cobble paver stone of 80 -100 mm thick flamed /leather finish as per the specified pattern, laid over 40 mm (average) thick base of cement mortar 1:4 (1 cement : 4 coarse sand) with grey cement slurry @ 6.4 kg/ sqm & jointed with grey cement slurry mixed with pigment to match the shade of the stone including rubbing & polishing complete.

Waterproofing of sunken slabs, toilet blocks, terraces on slabs under brickbats, roofs, watertanks. Cleaning the surface and filling cracks (if any), applying EPCO ACR wherever necessary, Providing and Moistening the surface with water to render it saturated. Mix Cement and Monobond WF in the ratio of 1.25 kg to 1 by weight and stir continuously. Apply minimum 2 coats with an interval of 12 hours minimum between the coats. Fix fiber mesh while the first coat is still tacky. Cure with sprinkling of water 3-4 times a day. incl. cost of scaffolding transport etc. as per dir of EIC. All the chemicals will be of Krishna Conchem Products Pvt. Ltd. or Equivalent

Providing & Fixing in position Double Skin roof with Zincalume/ Galvalume colour coated & bare profile sheet with subtle square fluting factory cut at all heights for roof, side & Gable cladding complete in all respect. TOP SHEET-The end rib shall be designed for anti-capillary action. The feed material should be manufactured out of nominal 0.45 mm Base Metal Thickness (BMT), Hi-strength steel with min. 550 MPa yield strength, metallic hot dip coated with Aluminium-Zinc alloy (55% Aluminium, 43.5% Zinc &1.5% Si) as per AS 1397 - Zincalume AZ150 (Min. 150 gms/sq.mt total on both sides) with quality paint coat as per AS/NZS 2728 type 3-4. The paint shall have a total coating thickness of nominal 35 μm, comprising of nominal 20 μm exterior SMP coat on top surface and nominal 5 μm reverse backer coat on back surface over nominal 5 μm primer coat on both surfaces of approved colour shade. Total Coated Thickness (TCT) should be 0.50mm. Total Painted Thickness (TPT) should be in addition to 0.50mm. The steel sheet shall be fastened with nominal 40 μm zinc coated or nominal 25 μm zinc-tin alloy coated, Hex head, self-drilling screw as per AS 3566-2002 Class 3 fasteners of approved make with EPDM washer as per the requirement considering the profile shape and design load. The fastener size shall be calculated as per the design or manufacturers recommendations.

Providing and fixing Prince or equivalent make PVC SWR half round eaves gutter with bolts, nuts and flat iron brackets 40 x 3 mm size complete.250 mm nominal size

Providing & fixing Sundar Patti of CNC Design cut 400mm x11mm thick partially design & partially plain with 100mm overlap Wood plastic composite board (WPC Board) as per approved design & shape fixing on MS member with help of self-tapping screws including scaffolding etc. complete.

Providing and laying 2nd class mangalore tile roof covering with 25 x 37 mm (1” x 1.5”) jamba wood or similar batten including nails etc., but excluding rafters.

Fabrication and fixing of Aluminium composite panel cladding with thick 4mm/ 0.25mm ACP sheets, aluminium framework, with 50 X 25 X 1.2 mm thick sections. Silicon sealants etc. including accessories complete.

18mm cement plaster in two coats under layer 12mm thick cement plaster 1:5 ( 1 cement : 5 coarse sand) and top layer 6mm thick with cement plaster 1: 3 (1 cement : 3 coarse sand) finished with sponge.

Pre-cast cement concrete kerb-stones(factorymade) of M-20 with 20 mm nominal size granitic/basaltic aggregate properly consolidated by mechanical plat-form and vibrators with smooth finish including fixing at site complete as per specification-.Size 30 cm L x 50 cm H x 15 cm T

Providing and laying at or near ground level factory made English Gutter Channel stone of M-25 grade cement concrete in position to the required line, level and curvature, jointed with cement mortar 1:3 (1 cement: 3 coarse sand), including making joints with or without grooves (thickness of joints except at sharp curve shall not to more than 5mm), including making drainage opening wherever required complete etc. as per direction of Engineer-in-charge Size of Channel 600x300x125mm

Providing and Making moulding / cornices on Granitic / Basaltic stone in hard, neatly dressed as per approved drawings , seasoned stones of size and shade as specified and laid as directed by Engineer in cement mortar 1:2 (1 cement : 2 coarse sand) with minimum mortar being visible in the joints including lifting and fixing at all heights as per the directions of engineer.

Mural paintings on wall surface in minimum 1.5m height of required shade including a priming coat to give an even shade.

Demolishing laterite stone masonry in cement mortar including stacking of serviceable material & disposal of unserviceable material within 50 mts. lead.

Dismantling the tile work in floors and roofs laid in cement including stacking of materials within 50 meters lead for thickness of tiles 10mm to 25mm.

Dismantling old plaster or skirting raking out joints and cleaning the surface for plaster including disposal of rubbish to the dumping ground within 50 mts. lead.

Disposal of surplus excavated soil / rock boulders / unserviceable dismantled material of all kinds at all lifts & lead including transport, loading, unloading, stacking and making the site clean, etc. complete. (site location for disposal and permission if any from statutory bodies to be taken by Contractor) NOTE : Material to be disposed, measured in stacks will be reduced by 20% for payment.

Surface dressing of ground including removing vegetation in equalities not exceeding 15 cm deep and disposal of rubbish lead upto 50 m and lift upto 1.5 mt. - Hard soil

Supplying and stacking of good earth (suitable for horticulture work) at site including royalty and carriage (earth measured in stacks will be reduced by 20% for payment)

Spreading of sludge, dung manure or/and good earth in required thickness (cost of sludge, dung manure or/and good earth to be paid separately).

Supply at site of work well decayed farm.yard manure from any approved source approved by Engineer including screening and stacking as per MORT & H specification 308.2

Supply and stacking of local sand (Grading zone III or coarser) dung manure (cow dung) on site and mixing with good earth (good earth from item already supplied by Contractor) including mixing earth, sand and cow dung in proportion of 75% earth 20% sand and 5% of cow dung as directed by the Engineer and then spreading over lawn areas as well as filling in excavated pits, planters, flower beds etc in required thickness as per specification or as directed by the engineer incharge and carriage up to 200 m lead.

Supply of 3 core armoured PVC/XLPE insulated, PVC sheathed copper conductor cable of 1.1 KV grade with ISI mark conforming to IS:1554(Part I) ,IS:7098(Part I) with latest amendments of following size. 3 Core 4 sq.mm

Supplying and making cable end terminations with brass compression gland and copper lugs for folowing sizes of 3 Core PVC insulated PVC sheathed/XLPE aluminium conductor cable of 1.1 KV grade, complete as required. 3 x 4 Sq. mm.
