Material and labour for normal water proofing treatment on roof slab consisting with following operations:- (i) Existing surface shall be cleaned of all dust, fungus, moss and other foreign material etc by using wir brush & dusting, Apply a layer of bituminous primer conforming to IS 3384 @ 0.4 Lit/m2 on the surface. Laying 3mm thick APP membrane habing non-woven polyester matt at core and under surface coated with plastic polythene film. Laying shall be done using butane torch maintaining 100mm ie overlap & 150mm end overlap, sealling all overlaps complete including treatment at all junctions & corners. The membrane shal be tucked into groove on vertical plane and groove sealed with cement mortar. The treatment shall be provided upto 200mm height above finished floor (Note- The membrane shall have tensile strength of 700N/5cm in longitudinal direction and 450N/5cm in transverse direction at 23 degree celcius, Flow resistance>120 degree celcius, dimensional stability, < 0.5% when tested as per ASTM D 5147. The laying of the membrane shall be done through authorized applicator of the manufacturers.

All the repairs parts/accessories, along with new parts/accessories shall be reassmebled and fixed to the satisfaction of Engr-in-charge in existing postion. Contractor shall carry out necessary greasing, easing etc for functioning of the shutter, without any extra cost to the department.)

Contractor shall lay out all the defective parts of removed shutters at site and after verification by Engineer-in-charge. defective parts shall be replaced with new fixture/items, these fixtures/items/parts shall be paid extra at supply only rates. All the repairs parts/accessories alongwith new parts/accessories shall be reassembled and fixed to the satisfaction of Engineer-in-charge in existing position. Contractor shall carry out necessary greasing, easing etc for functioning of the shutter, without any extra cost to the department.
