POWER TRANSFORMERS: General checking /visual inspection of Transformers (i) Checking/arresting of oil leakages (ii) Checking of Auto starting of fans, External cleaning of radiators, Cleaning of marshalling boxes of transformer and OLTC, (iii) Tightening of terminations, Checking of OLTC driving mechanism, Electrical checking/ testing of PRV, Buchholz relay, OLTC surge relay/ checking of alarm & trip and Checking / Tightening of earthing connections, Checking of earth resistance of Neutral and (iv) Replacement of Silca Gel of breathers for 50MVA / 53.33 MVA Power Transformers

Conducting of Scheduled Preventive Tests of Power Transformer viz. IR , BDV, PPM, Tan-delta /Capacitane of bushing/ winding and DGA

Checking oil level of conservator tank & topping of oil if required by way of dehydration/Filteration including cost transformer oil for 53.33 MVA / 50MVA

Onload oil filteration for 50MVA / 53.33MVA Transformers

Repairing of cooling fans of transformers including replacement of damaged winding, bearing if required

Overhualing of Circuit Breaker :- Checking of gas pressure, pressure switch setting etc, Checking of healthiness of accumulator by checking the pre-charging pressure when building up pressure from zero, Checking of operation of safety valve, Cleaning of breaker units, checking of protection equipments and replacement of defective ones, i.e., complete inspection and testing of SF6 type circuit breakers inclusive of operating mechanism. Maintaining gas levels, venting of circuit breakers, replacement of o-rings, gas kits including circuit breaker analysis by CBA etc.

Fixing Tripping & Closing Coils for 220kV / 132kv SF6 CB (rate shall be quoted per CB)

Filling of SF6 gas to maintain requisite pressure of SF6 CBs

Current Transformers :- Checking of bellow expansion, Checking of oil leakage in terminal box, Checking of primary connection strips, Checking of healthiness of gaskets, Checking the tightness of all connections including earthing of PF terminal, Cleaning of Porcelain, marshalling box and junction box, Checking cleanliness / tightness of all electrical connections including earthing of all marshalling boxes, CT secondary terminal, space heater and illumination, healthiness of secondary terminal bushing, checking of oil level, measurement of IR value tightening of jumpers, CT Analysis with the help of CTA etc.

CVT's / PT's :- Visual checking of earthing HF point (in case it is not being used for PLCC,Checking of any breakage or cracks in cementing joint, Cleaning of CVT capacitor stacks and tightness of terminal connections, Checking of space heater and illumination in PT MKs,Checking and tightness of all connections including earth connections Cleaning of Porcelain, marshalling box and junction box, Checking of healthiness of gaskets, Checking of neutral earthing in CVT, healthiness of all gaskets and oil level. Measurement of IR value and tightening of all connections and droppers.

Surge Arrestors :- Checking of leakage current (third harmonic resistive current), Testing of counters and leakage current meters, Checking of earth connections between surge arrester, surge monitor and earth, Checking of leakage current after cleaning of porcelain surface, measurement of IR value and tightening of droppers and testing of counter and leakage of current meters, Cleaning of insulators, Checking of earth connections between surge arrester, Surge monitor and Earth.

Isolators :- Maintenance of linkages including transmission gears, stopper bolts. Cleaning of auxiliary switch contacts and greasing with silica grease, cleaning of support insulators, termination contacts, checking of electrical / mechanical interlocks with E/S and CB, mounting bolts, alignment, nuts, pins, space heater, illumination, healthiness of gaskets, auxiliary contacts, alignment of earthing blades, operation of earth switch, almunium / copper flexible conductor, earth connections of structures and MB. Lubrication of operating mechanism, hinges lock joints, levers, bearings, main contacts, cleaning of post insulators, tightening of clamps, Bolts /Nuts.

Replacement of damaged / burnt droppers, jumpers for Isolators/ breakers/transformers / CT / PT / PI/LA etc. 220kv ,132kV & 33kV Switch Yards

Replacement of damaged Clamps & Connectors for Isolators/ breakers/ transformers / CT / PT / PI/LA etc. For 220kv, 132kV & 33kV Switch Yards as per Tech specs. & Drgs to be provided by the Department

Post Insulators :- Checking of insulators for cracks and cleaning of insulators and tightening of Droppers for 220kv, 132kV & 33kV level (Rate shall be per PI)

Fixing of Post Insulators (if damaged) as per Tech specs. & Drgs to be provided by the Department

Checking & tightening of Bus Bar & its clamps/ jumpers/ droppers including adjustment of Sags. (Rate shall be per Meter conductor)

Fixing of Bus Bar conductors, its droppers / jumpers including requisite Clamps (if damaged) (Rate shall be per meter conductor)

Fixing of Disc Insulators (70kN /90kN / 120kN)

Visual inspection & checking & tightening of all Bolts, Nuts with washers of GI Latice Towers, Beams and equipment Pipe Structures

Fixing of missing / damaged GI Bolts, Nuts with washers and GI lattice members of Towers, Beams and equipment Pipe Structures

Illumination System :- Inspection/checking healthiness of fittings & Luminaries of Control Room, Office, Residential quarters, Sentary post. main entry gate and repairing and replacement if required.

Out Door Illumination System :- Inspection/checking of healthiness of fittings & Luminaries & MCB, lighting panels of outdoor Switch Yard, including High Mast.

Replacement of damaged/burnt items. Viz. MCB, Fuses, Fixtures, PVC FRLS cable, LED Lamps/Tubes/LED Flood lights, in outdoor Yards if required.

Battery Bank: Inspection/checking and cleaning of battery cell terminals, application of petrolium Jelly, if required, conduction of battery impendence and discharge test & checking voltage temperature, current, terminals voltage and Battery discharge testing etc.

Battery Charger :- Inspection/checking of control cards, measurement of test point voltage values, testing of DC earthfault and U/V relays, IR measurement of charger transformer, Cables, checking of earthing etc. Checking of charger panel and DCDB for electrical connections, cleanliness etc.

Protection System :- Inspection / checking of Protection Relays and application of CCl4 for cleaning, checking of control wiring Rate shall be per Panel including /Installation, commisioning and testing of protective relays (Relay will be provided by Department)

Cleaning of cable trenches and cables including of dressing of cables, setting right the cable trays & racks etc

Auxilary Transformer :- Inspection /checking of Bush Rods, connectors, oil level, Silica Gel condition/colour, measurement of IR, BDV /PPM, safety diaphragm, tightness of earthing connections and cleaning of Bushings

L.T Switchgear Panel: Inspection /cleaning of LT Panels, bus bar insulators, Space Heaters, thermostats etc. Tightening of all electrical connections, Checking of indicating meters/LED indicators, Check for change-over facility, check operation /indications in OFF Load condition of MCCB.

Earthing Mat :- Measurement of earth resistivity, checking of electrical continuity of equipment earthings, tightening of earthing connectors, removal of rust from bolted earth connectors and tightening. Watering through manholes provided in the Switch Yards

220kv, 132kV & 33kv Switch Yard

DC Distribution Board :- Inspection/checking of Panel, louvers, switches/sockets, MCBs, cables connections, wiring, Space Heaters, Thermostats and checking of healthiness of all emergency DC light and auto change over operation

Fire Protection System:- Refilling of fire fighting CO2 and dry chemical powder gas cylinders, providing of Nozzle etc. Setting right Sand Buckets stand & refilling of sand buckets (rate shall be per cylinder)

Deweeding of Switch Yards & adjacent areas within premises including Removal/Cutting of unwanted Grass/weeds / Bushes at GSS Delina, Kulgam & Mattan

General inspection, cleaning, tightening of electrical connections of Control & Relays Pannels and DCDB & ACDB, Rates shall be per Panel

Painting/distempering of Control Room Building, Residentail Quarters, Office, Sentry Post (Rate shall be per sq.m including material)

Repair/maintenance of Main Gate of Grid Sub-Stations if required by way of welding & Painting.

AC repairing and maintenance, watwer purifier maintenance and cleaning, water storage tank cleaning and maintenance, upkeepment and maintenance / repairing of water pumps, pipes and tube well, upkeepment and maintenance of DG set.

Providng and fixing of sign boards at Sub Stations Rate shall be per Board of standard size

House Keeping Items: Providing of daily consumeable items (Colin, Harpic, Dish wash Bar, brooms, Microfiber cleaning cloth, kitchen scrub cloth etc.) for house keeping in the entire Grid Sub Station Premises viz. Control Room, Pantry, Wash Rooms, Office, Security post and perphericial areas

House Keeping Services: Monthly basis rates for cleaning of Grid Sub Stations as per the direction of concerned In-Charge Engineer at (Rates quoted shall be per Grid Sub Station)
