REPAIR/ MAINTANANCE OF CAPTIVE POWER HOUSE DG SETS OF VARIOUS CAPACITY INCLUDING PERIODICAL MAINTENANCE OF DG SETS AT AF STATION CARNICOBAR

Quarterly comprehensive and preventive maintenance of under mentioned DG Set (Engine, Alternator) along with its AMF panel through qualified OEM service engineer as per manufacturer’s/OEM standard instruction for DV2/KV series following DG sets :- (a) DG Set (500 KVA) KOEL - 02 Nos (b) DG Set (400 KVA) KOEL - 01 Nos (c) DG Set (600 KVA) KOEL - 01 No

Note :- (i) The complete Quarterly servicing, maintenance of captive DG set to be carried out during the contract period with minimum 1 Kirloskar Senior Engineer (OEM) having minimum 5 year experience in maintenance of DG set. (ii) All consumable store required for captive power DG Set will be paid separately except cotton waste, grease and any minor parts to ensure Engine and Alternator Operational (iii) The stationery and registers required should be provided for the period of contract. (iv) Any minor repair occurred to be cleared within 24 hrs and major repair will be cleared within one week through OEM auth service engineer/technician. (v) During contract period all DG set should be kept serviceable except during maintenance period and major repair. (vi) Service engineer's deployed to carry out Quarterly servicing, maintenance in DG set. Cost of transportation, Travel pass, boarding and messing be included in the quoted rates. (vii) The maintenance work should be carried out through qualified engineer as and when required. (viii) Spare parts shall be measured and paid under respective items

Note (Contd....) (ix) 1st service through OEM shall be carried out by the contractor for all DG Sets, within 15 days of commencement of work and last service shall be carried out before 30 days of completion of contract period. (x) Service engineer shall carry out all cheeks of DG set components and submit the service report to Engr in charge in duplicate. Also suggest the spare parts reqd to be changed on or before next servicing, so that the spare can be made available on site within time to avoid any major break down. If contractor fail to carry out Quarterly service within the time frame penalty of Rs. 10,000/- shall be recovered. (xi) DG Set (500 KVA) KOEL - 02 Nos, DG Set (400 KVA) KOEL - 01 No, DG Set (600 KVA) KOEL - 01 No, Measured as one Job.

All as per item No 1 above but Cummins make DG set of capacity 1010 KVA . Note: Read Note same as 1.01 and 1.02

Half yearly comprehensive and preventive maintenance of synchronization panel comprising of under mentioned DG Set (Engine, Alternator) along with its AMF panel through qualified OEM service engineer as per manufacturer’s/OEM standard instruction :- (a) DG Set 500 KVA KOEL - 02 Nos (b) DG Set 400 KVA KOEL - 01 Nos (c) DG Set 600 KVA KOEL - 01 No (d) DG Set 1010 KVA Cummins - 01 No

Note :- (i) The complete Half yearly servicing, maintenance of synchronization panel at captive DG set to be carried out during the contract period with minimum 2 Senior Engineer of (OEM)/manufacturer's having minimum 5 year experience. (ii) 500 KVA DG set No II should be synchronized if any material is required for synchronization the cost will be borne by the contractor no extra payment will be given to contractor by the department.

Supply and Fixing in replacement Fan clutch Assembly (radiator fan pully) Part No DVO.076.40.0.00 for 500 KVA KOEL DG Sets as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge .

Supply and Fixing in replacement Permanent Magnet Generator Assembly (PMG) for any type of DG set of capacity 400 to 1010 KVA of any make in captive power house as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge .

Rewinding of Permanent Magnet Generator Assembly (PMG) for KOEL/Cummins DG set of capacity 400 KVA to 1010 KVA including taking down burnt winding wire from PMG field and rewinding with and including same dual coated supper enamelled copper conductor wire with same size/gauge including replacement of fibre glass tape, sleavs stote wedge, terminal lead and PMG leads etc, varnishing of complete winding with H class insulation level and drying the varnish, including transportation of unserviceable PMG from site to workshop and return back for installation it on original position/location after rewinding from workshop (Rate is deemed to be inclusive of transportation, T&P and man power) complete all as specified and directed by Engineer in charge.

Supply and Fixing in replacement Exciter stator coil for KOEL DG set of capacity 400 KVA to 600 KVA complete all as specified and directed by Engineer in charge .

Supply and Filing of Engine Oil for Kirlosker Engine (type ‘K’ Oil of supper grade SAE 15w40) or as specified by manufacturer for topping up or replacement of lubricating oils during periodical maintenance/daily checks complete all as specified and directed by Engineer in charge.

Supply and Filing of Engine Oil for Cummins Engine (Supper grade SAE 15W40) or as specified by manufacturer for topping up or replacement of lubricating oils during periodical maintenance/daily checks complete all as specified and directed by Engineer in charge.

Disconnecting Alternator from all electric connection from DG sets of capacity 400 KVA to 1010 KVA, Lowering / getting out electrically & mechanically carefully indoor / outdoor and Transportation of unserviceable Alternator of any make and type of capacity from 400 KVA to 1010 KVA from Captive power house Carnicobar to main land i.e. Chennai workshop and return back to Carnicobar for installation its on original position/location after rewinding from Chennai workshop (Rate is deemed to be inclusive of transportation, T&P and man power) complete all as specified and directed . Note: (i)The Contractor shall submit Transportation bills before claiming payment through RAR/FB. (ii) Before dispatch of Alternator to Workshop for rewinding, old wiring shall be cut / destroyed in presence of Engr-in-Charge.

Rewinding of KOEL make DG set alternator of capacity 400 KVA to 500 KVA DG sets alternator of any make any type, separate the stator and rotor assembly, taking down burnt winding wire from stator, exciter field and rewinding stator with and including same dual coated supper enamelled copper conductor with same size/gauge including replacement of fibre glass tape, sleavs stote wedge, terminal lead and exicter leads etc, varnishing of complete winding with H class insulation level and drying the varnish and reassembling the alternator complete all as directed by Engineer in charge. Note: (i) The Contractor shall undertake the warranty till Defect Liability Period (ii) 12 Hrs testing after successfully repaired shall be carried out for 12 Hrs i.e. for (2 Hrs on 25%, 2 Hrs on 50%, 2 Hrs on 75% & 4 Hrs on 100 % Load) (iii) Quoted rate shall deemed to be inclusive of all nothing extra shall be paid.
