REPAIR/MAINTENANCE OF EOT/HOT CRANES AND ALLIED WORKS AT AF STN UNDER GE (AF) CHABUA

Comprehensive preventive maintenance by technically qualified technician and rendering operationally EOT crane of capacity as mentioned below including assemblies inspection and maintenance of including checking / tightening of all nut, bolts & breaks any type any size complete system, adjusting etc of all breaks motions and VFD /VVVF drive adjustment setting of EOT / HOT cranes with having single or double girder type and providing greasing & oiling of traveling/moving parts of crane with connecting motor girder parts for movement of crane hoist / long / cross traveling and including maintaining the controlling of speed / creeping micro speed of motors with minor maintenance / repair electrically operated main control panel wire with connecting control wiring system consisting of main switch, step down transformer, contactor, HRC fuse, VFD, PLR, control pendent ,wire rope with break drum unit, gear box unit , oil levels, motor bed / foot ,electrical control cable, motor terminal, end cable carriage trolley , motor shaft, bush flange bearing with lathe work ,chain pulley block, ratchet clutch, gear block, chain wheel, chain etc and including locating the defect or fault and rectification of the fault and rectification of oil leakage etc any type any size and replacement of defected nut, bolt & washer and making it soundless/sound proof and after trails testing run of crane for smooth functioning / operation satisfactorily of the following mentioned capacity cranes/Hoist complete all as specified and directed. Details of EOT Crane:- (i) EOT crane of 10 Ton capacity - 01 No. (Make of Safex Ltd)

All as per srl item No. 1 here-in-before but FLP EOT Crane/Hoist of capacity is under mentioned complete all as specified and directed. Details of FLP EOT Crane:- (i) FLP EOT crane of 02 Ton capacity:- 03 Nos. ( Make of Safex Ltd)

Notes applicable for srl item Nos 1 to 2:- (i) Inspection checking decarbonising & tightening of electrical connection in total system including replacement of thimbles etc. (ii) Inspection & checking of fuses, setting & tightening the same as per their capacity. (iii) Inspection and setting of voltage system including replacement of fused indicating lamp etc. (iv) Spares for EOT crane will be measured and paid separately as given in BOQ and will be of OEM make and of existing specifications. (v) Contractor will carry out comprehensive maintenance once in a month for Eleven (11) months and maintain the record of same. (vi) Contractor will ensure serviceability and safety of crane during his each visit by way of maintaining job card duly signed by Engr-in-Charge and JE E/M. (vii) The contractor will also send Technician on call basis in case of any fault. (viii) Rates of all consumables and minor parts such as thruster brake oil, nut bolt, split pins, bushes, gasket, Push Button for pendent are deemed to be included in the quoted rates.

M&L for servicing of 02 Ton HOT crane comprising of the following:- (i) Greasing/oiling of required part . (ii) Checking & testing/adjustment of brakes for all the motions (iii) Checking & tightening of nut, bolts, wheel alignment etc. (iv) Cleaning of Bridge girder complete.

Carry out load and deflection test for EOT crane of 10 ton capacity at 100 % full load with necessary instruments on hoisting, LT/CT for checking the performance of the cranes as directed by the Engineer In Charge/and upto the users satisfaction. Note:- (i) Load/deflection test is to be carried out by the contractor's expert rep in the relevant field in presence of the department rep and recording the test and issue necessary certificate. (ii) The load required for the testing and necessary transportation, will be arranged by the contractor at the location of testing.

Supply and fixing in replacement of HT Motion Break Shoe with liner (150mm) of cap FLP 10 Ton crane complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fixing in replacement of HT/CT/LT Motion Break Shoe with liner (100mm) of cap FLP 02 Ton crane complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L in replacement of planetary gear box for hoist motion of 10 TON EOT crane including taking down old unserviceable one complete as specified and directed.

Supply and fixing in repair of flame proof micro LT hydraulic thruster brake unit 160 mm dia rating 100% complete all as specified and directed.

Re-calibration of V.F.D Drives by expert technician complete all as specified and as directed.

Taking down the burnt out FLP 3 phase 415 volt electric motor of any make from the elevated height after disconnecting electrically and mechanically from the system, transporting to civil workshop for repairs, dismantling the same and removing burnt out windings, cleaning the rotor and stator properly, rewinding the motor with super enameled copper winding wire as per existing gauge, varnishing/drying etc complete, replacing the ball bearings as per existing size, reassembling the motor, shifting and installing at original position, making electrical and mechanical connections and testing for proper working complete all as specified and directed for 0.5 HP to 0.75 HP 1415 RPM motor complete all as specified and as directed.

Dismantling & lowering down of 4 Nos LT wheels and drive shafts and overhauling including replacement of unserviceable parts like, drive shaft, plumber blocks with, couplings, bolts, nuts etc for long travel arrangement complete all as specified and as directed.

Opening of electrical connection of 2 Ton capacity FLP EOT crane and removing of damaged Cross Travel/Long Travel electric drive and taking to authorized servicing agency, opening of electrical drive and replacing the burnt out phase cards, power diodes, unserviceable parts i.e. capacitors, integrated circuits, resistors, electronic transformer and reassembling the complete electric drive and bringing back to site after repairing and refixing electrical drive, connecting electrical drive and commissioning complete all as specified and as directed.

All as per item No 53 above but for 10 Ton capacity EOT crane complete all as specified and as directed.

Disconnecting electrical connection opening of the LT panel board, disconnecting and removing the burnt out cable end termination, cutting and reterminating the cable end portions with lugs of proper size and removing the burnt out control and power wiring from the panel board, providing new wiring with suitable size copper cable and replacement of damaged burnt out connectors, fuse holders and cable lugs including cleaning of control panel, checking of all auxiliary and main power contactors, over load relays complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for dismantling, removing , taking down the gear box assembly of main hoist for EOT cranes capacity of 10 ton and then overhauling the gear box including replacement of worn gear wheel unit complete with new one matching to the existing size, replacement of defective oil seal, gear couplings etc and then assembling, fixing back to the system alignment, testing & commissioning of EOT Crane capacity up to 10 ton complete all as specified and as directed.

All as per item No. 56 above but for 2 Ton capacity FLP EOT crane complete all as specified and as directed.

Disconnecting and taking down electromagnetic thruster/Hydraulic Brake unit from the crane, shifting to work shop, dismantling all parts, replacement of unserviceable parts like Brake coil, thruster oil, assembling, shifting to existing location and fixing in a same position, testing the system complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fixing FLP control transformer copper wound 200 VA capacity and 415 volts/110 volts, including taking down the old unserviceable transformer complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fixing FLP lighting transformer 750 VA capacity and 415 volts/220 volts, including taking down the old unserviceable transformer complete all as specified and directed.
