REPAIR MAINTENANCE TO DG SETS AMF PANELS AND OTHER ALLIED WORKS UNDER GE NARANGI

M & L for Annual comprehensive preventive maintenance for a period of 06 Months and servicing of DG Set of capacity 380 KVA Make Cummins comprising Diesel Engine , AMF Panel & Control panel for the following job by carrying out the following jobs as given below:- (a) Draining out engine oil from the chamber cleaning the chamber thoroughly and refilling the oil pan with new engine oil to it’s required level, (b) Draining out of diesel from tank, cleaning the tank thoroughly and refilling the drained out diesel (c) Supply and replacment of fuel filter set (d) Supply and replcement of lubricating oil filter set (e) Supply and replacement By pass filter set (f) Checking & cleaning air cleaner (g) Check and topping up coolant level (h) Checking the starting batteries and filling with electrolyte/Distilled water to maintain the required specific gravity. Cleaning of Battery terminals & applying petroleum jelly to battery terminal posts & brass connectors (j) Checking and clearning exhaust system including removing of deposited carbon in exhuast pipe. (k) Adjustment /setting of V Belt and fan belts to the desired tension, tightening all the bolts and nuts to the required torque etc, cleaning the DG Set with accessories as prescribed by the manufacturer (l) Checking, cleaning and servicing of self starter, Alternator, sensors etc. (m) Testing of DG set at connected load all as directed by the Engr in charge. (n) Replacement of burnout Copper/aluminium thimbles existing size by crimping with crimping tool properly completely.

Note (a) Petroleum jelly, waste cloth, seal, gaskets etc are to be provided by the contractor and the cost is deemed to be included in quoted rate. (b) Coolent for topping up and Engine oil, Fuel filter, oil filter, bypass filter, water filter wii be measured and paid saparetly under relevant items. (c) Engine oil /Spares/filters of make reccomended by OEM will only be used for servicing of DG set Material and Labour for ‘B’ check servicing of all as per manufacturer instructions, including cost of following ‘B’ check spares and minor spares required for carrying out the check like nut, bolts, washers, gaskets, screws, hose clamps, including draining out old engine oil and filling in new engine oil, filling in/top up coolant in radiators of water cooled engine, taking out air filter element cleaning the same with compressed air for removing the dust or replace unserviceable element with new element, cleaning of waste oil or coolant from engine and near by spare parts of engine of make Cummins and Alternator make-Stamford and capacity 380 KVA, installed at CZW, complete including testing after repair for its smooth functioning :- (a) Lubricating oil filter - 01 No (b) Filter for Coolant - 01 No (c) Fuel filter - 02 Nos (d) Water Filter - 01 No (e) Minor spares and waste cotton for cleaning - 01 Kit Note : 1. Dismantling unserviceable battery charging dynamo from DG set of rating 1 x 12 / 2 x 12 Volts complete repairs and servicing including replacement of bushes, bearings, Carbon brushes, rectifiers, rewinding of field magnet coil / rotor armeture coils and any other minor parts required all as directed and fixing on engine including testing/commissioning complete for DG set having any capacity complete all as directed. Note : Replacement of rotor armature coil if required shall be measured and paid seperately.

Replacement of rotor armature coil suitable for battery charging dynamo of DG set complete all as directed.

Dismantling self starter of DG set for repairing the starter by replacing carbon brushes, brush holder, bearings, solenoid coil, replacement of burnt armature, rewinding of Fd coils, replacement of pinion gears etc, complete servicing and refixing after repair including testing/commissioning complete for DG Set any capacity complete all as directed. (Note : Quoted rate is exclusive of solenoid coil, armeture coil, and pinion gear. If this items are required, they will be measured and paid separately as supply only under relevant items.

Note : Coolant and distilled water shall be measured and paid separately under relavant items.

M&L for dismantling the unserviceable FIP from DG set engine and taking it to auth workshop for cleaning, overhauling/servicing and calibration with prescribed overhauling kit of any capacity DG set with replacement of unserviceable parts/spares as required for repair of injectors, re-fixing the FIP and checking the same for its smooth functioning on DG set complete all as directed by Engineer in charge. Note : Necessary spares required for repairing and servicing of FIP incude in quoted rates & Transportation to workshop complete.

Labour only for attending breakdowns of DG sets/AMF panels through skilled technician from reputed service centre of DG sets with necessary tool kits, checking Engine and alternator for defects, carryout necessary repairs works to rectify the defects without major overhauling/opening of Engine or Alternators, replace of external spare to repair/rectify the defects and testing DG set for its smooth functioning on full load complete all as directed. Note : 1. Necessary spares required to rectify the defects shall be measured and paid separately as supply only under relavant items. 2. The complaint shall be attended and rectifed within 24 hours from time of reporting by Engr-in-Charge or his authorised representative. 3. Any Major defects shall be reported on priority to Engr-in-Charge to avoid undue delay in fuctioning of installation.

Supply and fix in repair MCB TP 25 to 63 A, 415V,50Hz, C series breaking capacity 10kA all as specified and directed.

M & L for servicing of Newely installed Diesel Engine Generator set of 100 KVA by taking down oil sump after draining unserviceable enigne oil from drain plug and storing in a container, cleaning the sump and refilling Engine oil, running testing and refilling as top up for proper level, greasing the movable parts and cleaning complete body after repairing all oil / fuel leakages complete all as specified and directed. Note:- Servicing to be carried out by service engineer of OEM/auth rep of OEM & Engine oil shall be measured and paid separately under relevant item of this schedule.

M & L for servicing of Newely installed Diesel Engine Generator set of 15 KVA by taking down oil sump after draining unserviceable enigne oil from drain plug and storing in a container, cleaning the sump and refilling Engine oil, running testing and refilling as top up for proper level, greasing the movable parts and cleaning complete body after repairing all oil / fuel leakages complete all as specified and directed. Note:- Servicing to be carried out by service engineer of OEM/auth rep of OEM & Engine oil shall be measured and paid separately under relevant item of this schedule

Supply and fixing as in repairs battery charger for 12 V battery in sheet metal enclosure having voltmeter and ammeter of capacity 10 Amps with two Nos lead with terminal clamps complete all as specified and directed. of AMF panel of make as per existing complete all as specified and directed.

Supply, laying and testing XLPE insulated, armoured heavy duty electric cable with aluminium conductor, 1100 volts grade cross-sectional area 120 Sq mm 3.5 core including taking down complete all as specified and directed

Supply, laying and testing XLPE insulated, armoured heavy duty electric cable with aluminium conductor, 1100 volts grade cross-sectional area 70 Sq mm 3.5 core ncluding taking complete all as specified and directed

Excavation in trenches in soft/loose soil not exceeding 1.5 mtr wide and not exceeding 1.5m deep, getting out the excavated earth, forming bottom surfaces to required gradient complete all as specified and directed

Removal of excavated material / soils to a distance n exc 50m and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5m above the straight point complete all as specified and directed.

Returning filling in, including spreading, levelling watering and well ramming in layers n exc 25 cm in soft / loose soil complete all as specified and directed.

M&L sand cushioning using dry and clean tibba sand in two layers, first layers of 80mm thick before laying of cable and second layer of 150mm thick after laying of cable in trenches/ducts including consolidation of each layers complete all as specified and directed.

Supply & Laying bricks using sub class ‘B’ bricks (old size) for cable protection laid flat and dry in trenches over cable perpendicular to direction of cable, complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for repairing, welding doors to main body include AMF Panel board, hinges fitting, replacement of lock, handle and making good for the canopy of DG set /panel baord off capacity including painting with exixting colour after surface preparation complete all as specified and directed by Engineer in charge

Dismentaling of deffective Alternator from DG set of capacity 62.5 KVA to 200 KVA from DG set by opening coupling shaft and taking out carefully rotor and windingsby disconnecting the internal connections. Removing cabon bushes , replacement of unserviceable bushes , nuts & bolts, cutting the burnt winding and re-winding the same with suitable size of super enameled copper wire as pr existing gauge, insulating the winding connection by using fire proof sleeve and fire fire proof tape, varnishing the coil, keeping the coils in Sun light/ oven for removing moisture , painting of Alternator body outside , marking MES/SM No etc , refixing the alternator with engine with proper alignment of coupling and shaft, and connecting electric connections internal and outside properly, making the all connections with suitable coppr lugs , meggering the Alternator, testing the load of alternator complete all as specified and directed. Note : (i) Winding wire for making coils will be measured and paid seperately .(ii) Contractor is required to submit test report for repaired alternator duly signed by Engr-in-Charge. (iii) Rates for transportation of Alternator from site to Workshop and return back from workshop to be included in quoted rates .(iv) Necessary load test be crried out in presence of Engr in charge and T&P required for the job is included in the quoted rates.

Supply only super enameled copper conductor wire suitable gauge and size as per requirement for rewinding of Alternator of capacity 62.5 KVA to 200 KVA complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fixing as in repair metal fuel injector pipe of make Lucas TVS / Mico suitable for DG Set of make Kirloskar / Mahindra / Ashok Leyland of capacity 62.5 KVA to 380 KVA complete all as specified and directed

Repair to alternator of DG set 125 KVA to 380 KVA, servicing, alternator, cleaning the dust including replacement of defective rectifier of suitable capacity, testing complete of alternator for out put voltage and load etc complete all as specified and directed by Engineer - in - Charge.

M&L dismantling of radiator assembly from the DG set suitable for 62.5 to 125 KVA including transporting to the civil workshop for necessary repair, checking leakage, brazing, cleaning with suitable cleaning agent and filling coolent and fixing back to the DG set complete including testing and commissioning complete all as specified and directed. Note:- (i) Transportation of radiator to the workshop and back shall be provided by the contractor and the cost thereof shall be deemed included in unit quoted rate.
