Supply, laying in trenches or fixed to wall/pole or passing through pipe or road crossing, testing and commissioning of HT XLPE insulated, screened, PVC bedded, galvanised steel strip or wire armoured, electric power cable (heavy duty ) with aluminium conductor, 11KV grade, suitable for earthed system, with aluminium conductor of size 120 Sqmm 3 Core including taking down unserviceable HT cable of any type/size/description, etc complete all specified and directed.The HT cable shall confirm to code IS -7098(Part-2) /1985 specifications. (Note : Excavation & Earth work shall be measured and paid seprately).

Excavation in trenches n.exc 1.5 m wide and n. exc 1.5 m in depth and getting out in soft/loose soil for removing/laying of cables complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Returning, filling in including spreading , leveling , watering and well ramming in layers n.exc 25 cm with soil complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in- Charge.

Removing excavated material to a distance n.exc 50 m and depositing where directed at a level n.exc 1.5 mtr above the starting point complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Material and Labour for dry fine sand cushioning to under ground cables 8 cm thick before laying the cable and 15 cm thick after laying, stretching and testing the cable all as direted. Note : [Punned thickness shall be measured & paid]

Supply & laying unreinforced precast cement concrete cable cover, class HV, type 1, flat , size 300 mm x 180mmx 40mm all as required as in protection of cable complete all as specified and directed.

S&F in replacement of Cable route indicator made of CI 100mm dia welded and fitted with MS angle Iron 40 x 40x 6 mm, 45 Cm long. The angle shall be grouted in PCC block 1:3:6 type C-1 (20 mmGraded aggregate) of size 150 x 150 x 150mm. The CI round shall be embossed with the work “MES HT Cables” complete all as specified and as directed.The cable path indicator shall be painded by Brown Colour.

Supply, Installation, testing and commissioning of indoor 11KV HT switchgear, 630A , 3 Phase, 50 Hz, 3 wire totally enclosed, prewired, both side extensible type,floor mounted, Horizantal isolation type vaccum circuit breaker (VCB) 630 Amp rating having rupturing capacity ( Max 25 KA) with copper Bus Bar , Total 4 nos outgoing feeders suitable to couple (through Bus connection only ) with existing switchgear at MES site .The panel should be tested for interal arc for 25 KA or above for 1 sec. The VCB shall comply with IS:13947(part 1 to 5 for circuit breaker),IS-2705 for C.T(Current transformer). The breaker of the offered new outgoing panels should be interchangeable with the existing breaker at S/S. Make - Schneider ( HWX) /ABB ( Unigear)/Siemens (NXAir) Imp Note- The new panel suould be suitable to couple with existing one no Incomer at site throught Bus connection only. The connection through cable or through adapter panel is not acceptable. Following items are required for outgoing feeders - (a) Panel enclosure - The panel enclosure should be made of Aluzinc . Only the front door and rearcover should be made of CRCA sheet - 1 No. (b) Mechanical inter lock and automatic safety shutter gear 1 No (c) Isolating plugs - 6 Nos (d) 11 KV, 630 Amps max 25 KA at VCB -01-No ( comprising of the following:- (i) Asssembly of 3 nos vacum inerrupters ( The make of the vacuum intrupter should be same as make of VCB) (ii) Hand and motor operated spring charged, independent starting, tripping trip free operating mechanism with manual closing and tripping push buttons.(iii) Mechanical operation counter- 1 nos (iv) Closing and Tripping coil. -1 no (v) Breaker operated auxiliary switch 6 Nos and 6 N/C (vi) Bus bar chamber including set of 3 phase 630 Amps Copper bus bar. - 01 Set (e) 230 V AC Single phase, 80W rated strip type heater-2 Nos.

(f) Current transformer chamber incorporating 3 single phase resin cast CTs of ratio 50/1 Amps with suitable VA burden and accuracy class 1 and 5P10 -01 No (g) Rear cable termination, provision for termianting cable (h) Digital Ammeter - 01 No (i) On/off/Trip indication - 01 No (j) 3 pahse RYB indication with lamps - 01 No (k) TNC Switch - 01 No (l) Trip circuit supervision healthy indication lamp - 01 No (m) Digital Multifunction meter Model EM 6400 Accuracy Class -1 - 1 no. (r) Illumination lamp with Power socket (s) Master trip reay - 1 no NOTE : i) The breaker of the new switchgear should be interchangeable with the existing breaker at S/S. (ii) The new switchgear shall be OEM make and to be offered for Factory Acceptance Test at OEM factory. The system integrator panels are not acceptable. (iii) The make of the vacuum intrupter should be same as make of VCB.(iv) The design should have top and bottom separate arms in breaker. The breaker having single arm design with vacuum bottle in horizontal position shall not be acceptable. Vendor to quote new design of switchgear where this type of arrangeent is not applicable.

S & F synthetic insulating mat for HT 11 KV installations.The mat shall have minimum Dielectric strength of 30 KV. And confirm IS - 8437 The mat shall have dimensions 2m x 1m x 25mm.
