M&L for racking out old existing sealant compound, backup rod and filler board of the existing joints any description 30 mm to 40 mm wide by special tools like racker/cutting blades/ machines, widening of joints by 2 mm using joint cutting blades of appropriate size, straight and smooth edges. Joint cleaned thoroughly with application of compressed air. Joint shall be made dry, vacuum cleaned and free of dirt, oil, vegetation and other debris. Thereafter filled with pre-molded 25-35 mm thick compressible polyethylene closed cell type filler board as specified, over it filled with closed cell type, medium density, cross linked polyethylene foam backup rods of 30-40 mm dia. for complete length of the joint. After that Application of two coats of primer with thin brush by forward and backward movement at an interval of 30 minutes before filled with with pitch free grey polyurethane sealant conforming to BS -5212 , BS4254 and EN- 141875-2003 with minimum movement accommodation factor MAF of +/- 30 %. Minimum depth of the sealant above backup rod shall be 12-15 mm and applying the masking tap on edge of joint to prevent accidental spillage of sealant and removing the masking tap after sealant is applied complete all as specified and directed.

M&L cutting for existing runway/taxi track at cracks and spelled edges upto a minimum depth 30mm by mechanicals tools making grooves at cleaning through air blower/air blasting and applying propriety primer on the cleaned surface to obtain tack and finally filling in ELASTOMERIC CONCRETE of make Fosroc chemicals/ Chokesy chemicals pvt ltd/ CIPY Polyurethane pvt ltd/ Basf India ltd ( prepared by mixer part A, part B and adding fiberglass sand all as per manufacturers instruction and properly mixing in purpose made mixer electrically operated) to obtain a homogeneous mix and finally tooling the surface with hand tools to obtain a grooved textured finish and all so including connected joints expansion/construction/dummy joint filling with sealing compound/polyurethane sealant complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

M&L for cleaning existing holes/cavities with broom and compressed air surfaces area not exceeding 3 Sq Cm each of any shape & filling with epoxy resin mortar of make Fosroc chemicals/ Chokesy chemicals pvt ltd/ CIPY Polyurethane pvt ltd/ Basf india ltd prepared by mixing all as per manufacturers instruction complete all as specified and directed
