Surface excavation over areas to required profile, level, grade, camber etc. in all soils as mentioned below including dressing of excavated area, refilling with approved excavated materials in layers not exceeding 150 mm watering, consolidation etc. and stacking/ disposing of the surplus excavated materials within a lead of 3km and all inherent lifts etc. to the required location as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.
For all soils other than soft rock and hard rock.

Notes for piling works : i) The piling work shall be got executed through specialised agencies in the field duly approved by the Department. Construction of cast-in-situ RCC bored piles using rotary drilling method as per IS 2911 (Part-1, section-2) latest revision using concrete of M-30 grade with minimum cement content of 400 kg/cum of concrete, including cost of all materials, labour, use of plant and machinery, casting of pile to plumb, rectifying defects if any, including empty boring if any, breaking pile heads, dewatering, bore hole stabilization using temporary casting/ bentonite, disposal of the excavated muck/ bentonite slurry, broken pile heads to suitable dumping area as approved by statutory authority out side the campus including all lead by mechanical transport etc. (but excluding the cost of steel reinforcement which shall be paid under relevant item), all as per drawing and specification etc., complete & as directed by the Engineer-in-charge.

Working capacity of 120 MT for vertical load, using maintained load method as per IS-2911 (Part-4) latest edition using hydraulic jack & dial gauges including all supporting arrangement, kentledge, it's transport, loading, unloading etc. complete (Hydraulic jack and dial gauges shall be got tested/ calibrated from NTL or any other approved Laboratory before use on works.
Lateral load testing of single pile with free pile head for working capacity of 5MT in accordance with IS 2911(Part-4) latest for determining safe allowable lateral load on pile etc. complete as per drawing as per technical specification and as directed by the EIC
Cement concrete of specified grades at all locations & depths for the following works using graded stone aggregate of 20mm maximum size including necessary form work, machine mixing, transporting, placing in position consolidation, finishing, curing etc. complete as per specifications, drawings & as directed by the Engineer in charge.
NOTES:- a) Reinforcement provided if any shall be measured & paid under relevant item. b) MS frame works around pedestals etc. if provided shall be measured under relevant item. c) The dimensions of pedestals/ foundations are likely to be varied and rate quoted shall be final without any additional cost to the Department.
PCC of grade M10 in foundation, mud mat course, footing of dwarf wall, bed concrete to pile caps, pedestal, encasing, storm water drains, etc.
PCC M-15 grade in sub base flooring, foundation in pedestals, cable pits, cable trenches, plinth protection, encasing, storm water drains hunching, etc.
Notes for reinforcement cement concrete works:- i) Cement for structural works shall be OPC/PPC ISI marked and duly approved by the Engineer-in-charge. ii) PPC/ blended cement of ISI marked shall only be used for finishing works on prior approval of Engineer-in-charge. iii) All RCC work shall be controlled concrete unless otherwise specified and shall be carried out strictly in accordance with the drawings and specifications. iv) The rates for RCC works shall be exclusive of cost of reinforcement and form work unless otherwise mentioned. v) All coarse aggregate to be of 20mm. maximum size & uniformly graded unless otherwise mentioned. vi) The water tank and other tanks shall be executed strictly as per following criteria without any additional cost. a) The water tank and other tank work shall be executed as per IS 3370 latest editions in addition to other relevant IS code mentioned elsewhere. b) The minimum cement content for water retaining structures tank shall not be less than 330 kg/cum and not more than 400 kg/cum. c) During construction of raft slab of underground tank, lift pit dewatering shall be continuously carried out to avoid development of water pressure. d) Dead load in the form of sand bag shall be placed on the raft slab of underground tank, lift pit, so as to counteract the pore pressure until the walls are constructed and back filling is done. Number of sand bags required and time period of loading etc. shall be at the discretion of the Engineer in Charge. vii) For all RCC items, the rates quoted shall include the following without any extra cost to the Department. a) Spacers to maintain clear cover for reinforcement. b) Fixing at correct level and in proper alignment the inserts, pipe sleeves, pipe bends, hooks, other pipe specials etc. supplied by/ through the dept. c) Making cut-out wherever required including cutting the form works etc. d) Test for Concrete shall be done as per IS 456-2000 and the cost of the same shall be borne by the contractor.
Providing RCC conforming to IS 456-2000 at all locations, floors and levels, substructure, superstructure, all shapes, for all type of structural/ RCC elements of different geometric shapes like circular, semi-circular, curved, triangular, inclined, sloped etc., any slopes using graded stone aggregate of 20mm. and down graded including machine mixing, conveying, placing in position, mechanical consolidation, finishing, curing etc. complete all as per drawing and specifications, but excluding the cost of form work and steel reinforcement (which shall be paid under relevant item).

Extra for providing RMC (Ready Mixed Concrete) conforming to IS : 4926 (latest) in lieu of conventional RCC and PCC items supplied by approved RMC manufactures for all type of structural elements/ RCC elements and misc. works including transporting, pumping etc. complete as per instruction of the Engineer in charge.
i) The contractor shall obtain prior approval of RMC manufacturer from Engineer in Charge in writing. ii) This item shall be measured in addition to the original items of RCC and PCC of any grade mentioned elsewhere in Schedule of Quantities for substructure. iii) The rate shall apply for all levels and locations including all type of structure etc. complete. iv) Extra for RMC in lieu of conventional RCC and PCC of any grade mentioned elsewhere including SWD etc. shall be measured and paid under this item for sub structure
Providing, erecting, fixing in position, striking/ removing and cleaning steel/ timber shuttering and centring for form work in sub / super structure at all floors, level and locations for all geometrical shapes, in plain, curved surfaces of structural/ RCC elements including chamfers, splays, keys, wedges props, rails, bracings, props, brackets, cutting holes for pipes etc., providing and applying approved form oil on all surfaces of form work coming in contact with concrete including close hacking of all exposed concrete work after removal of form work, all materials, labour etc. complete as per specifications, drawings & as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. (Area of form work in contact with concrete shall only be measured for payment and stop boards for construction joints will not be measured for payment).
For all type of structural/ RCC elements. i)Area of form work in contact with concrete shall only be measured for payment and stop boards for construction joints will not be measured for payment). ii) The rate of formwork shall include all type of structural / RCC elements and geometric shapes including circular and any other curved surfaces.
For Bridge Deck etc.:- Providing, erecting, fixing in position, striking / removing and cleaning steel shuttering & centring for form work using water proof plastic laminated ply, steel stanchion, girder, I section/ channel section etc. with adequate bracing, including making temporary rigid footing to take the load of staging/ concrete for following at all level and locations for all geometrical shapes in plain, curved surfaces of structural / RCC elements including chamfers, splays, keys, wedges, props, rails, bracings, brackets, cutting holes for pipes etc., providing & applying approved form oil on all surfaces of form work coming in contact with concrete including close hacking of all exposed concrete work after removal of form work, all materials, labour etc. complete as per specifications, drawings and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge. (Area of form work in contact with concrete shall only be measured for payment and stop boards for construction joints will not be measured for payment).
Notes: i) Design , calculations details , drawings for scaffolding with intermediate/multiple staging shall be submitted well in advance and prior written approval of form work shall be obtained from the Engineer -in-Charge before commencement of work ii) The cost of shuttering shall include temporary footing to support the staging, use of crane if required for lifting/ placing the staging in position etc all completes. (Cost of any supporting wires cables safety gears metal scaffolding metal shuttering or any mandatory material shall be borne by the contractor and shall not be measured for payment).
Reinforcement for RCC works including supplying, delivering, storing of various diameter as required at site of work including loading, unloading, transporting, decoiling, straightening, cutting, bending, placing in position at all Substructure and Super structure levels and binding with 18 gauge soft drawn annealed steel binding wire etc. complete as per specifications and drawing. Notes:- i) The cost of binding wire shall be borne by the contractor and binding wire shall not be measured for payment. ii) Fusion Bonded Epoxy Coating shall be carried out as per IS 13620:1993 latest edition. iii) The contractor shall obtain prior written approval in advance from the Engineer in Charge for the factory for Fusion Bonded Epoxy Coating of reinforcement steel.

Disposing off the surplus excavated materials by mechanical transport for following lead and lift including loading, unloading, spreading, levelling etc. complete all as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.
Notes 1: - (i) Voids @ 20% for soils and 50% for soft rock/hard rock shall be deducted from fully loaded truck measurements to arrive at net quantity of payment in case direct measurement is not possible. Note 2:- Regarding disposal of Construction waste from site of work, the agency has to abide by the guidelines of Construction and Demolition (C&D) waste management plan as approved by MCGM and any other regulations issued by statutory authorities in the matter from time to time and Department is not responsible in any way in this regard :- (i) Royalty for excavation, transportation, filling of earthwork etc. including obtaining permission from statutory authority shall be borne by the contractor. (ii) Contractor shall strictly follow the statutory rules and regulations of the Construction and Demolition Debris Management Plan for project site. (iii) Surplus Excavated materials shall be disposed from construction site at approved disposal ground of MCGM including cost of necessary statutory charges, applicable. (iv) Construction debris shall also be disposed from construction site at approved disposal ground of MCGM including cost of necessary statutory charges, applicable. Contractor shall submit irrevocable Bank Guarantee for the amount as insisted by MCGM for the purpose of ensuing compliance of the Waste Management Plan/Debris Management Plan approved by the Municipal Corporation from time to time, till the grant /issuance of the occupation certificate and charges for same will be borne by Contractor. NOC from C&D Waste Management Department of MCGM shall be submitted by the agency after submission of Bank Guarantee. (v) Contractor shall submit acknowledgement of challan for each trip for unloading of Construction and Demolition waste material as per the standard format. (vi) Contractor shall be responsible and liable for penalty, if any, as prescribed by the Local Authority in case of non-fulfilment of the procedure laid down in the Construction and Demolition Debris Management Plan.
Disposing off the surplus excavated materials by mechanical transport to the lead 5 KM. including loading, unloading, spreading, levelling etc. complete all as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Supplying, filling, spreading and levelling well graded granular filling at the back & sides of retaining wall at all depths for all lifts and leads all complete as per specifications, drawings and as directed by the EIC. Note: Filter media should be well graded with size of coarse aggregate size varies from 1.5mm to 65mm
Using stone received from rocks at site and from available rocks at designated site within lead of 5Km and all lift, including breaking, cutting or chiselling to meet required shape and size for granular filling work.

Supplying and fixing 110mm/160mm dia PVC-SWR, grade-A pipes of approved make and with ISI mark for weep holes including laying the pipeline to proper slope and gradient, including cutting to required length etc. and including all fittings and fixtures , clamps , and finishing the outer face with matching cement slurry and cement paste @1000mm centre to centre at retaining walls and drains, staggered in RCC/ RRM masonry/ Brick Masonry wall etc. Complete all as per specification and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Galvanized Structural steel work using angles, channels, joists, bars, tubes, SHS, RHS and other sections, welded and / or bolted in built up sections for Gates, structural steel floors, frameworks, monorails and other structures including supplying, cutting, welding, fabricating, bending to shape (Curve and as approved design / any shape as per drawing) hoisting/erecting, wastages, fixing in position, scaffolding, bracing, providing and fixing in position with necessary Masonry / RRM / RCC fasteners, making holes /chases wherever required and fixing / embedding in position in concrete / brick work / RRM with necessary heavy duty holdfasts /screws & rawl plugs and finishing the concrete/ brick work/RRM after fixing / embedding including getting hot dip galvanizing treatment of application of zinc coating of 460gsm (both side inclusive) as per IS:277 to all MS work in approved galvanizing plant etc. and applying two coats of approved metallic shade and colour of synthetic enamel paint over a two coats of a priming coat of approved zinc chromate steel primer etc. complete all as per specifications, drawings and as directed by the Engineer-In-Charge
Notes for plastering works :- a) Before commencement of plastering, the area shall be cleaned, wetted and shall be marked with 'Thiyyas' or 'Tapanis' and shall be got approved by the Engineer in Charge. b) Whenever the electrical contractor/ agency has to fix up switch boxes in walls, necessary Thiyyas or 'Dhadas' shall be arranged prior to plastering so that the electrical boxes are fixed properly in line with the finished plastered surfaces. c) Finishing around the junction boxes shall be done at all floor, level and position to the line, level and right angles as required while carrying out plastering work. d) No extra claim/cement consumption shall be entertained by the Department for the plastering done more than the specified thickness shown in the schedule of quantities, to bring the plastered surface to perfect line, level and plumb with adjoining columns and beams.
Providing 12 mm thick plastering in single coat over concrete surfaces, top of coping, bed of drains etc. using Ready Mix Plaster (having CM 1:4) of approved make at all levels & lead, finishing smooth with neat cement to correct line, level, plumb and curing etc. complete all as per specifications, drawings & as directed by E-I-C. IS - 1786 grade Fe - 415 steel reinforcing bar and in U shape having dimensions 263 x 168 mm and fixing in concrete / wall as shown in the drawing and as directed all complete. Note: All Foot-rests provided for PH work will be measured under this item
Proof rolling with 8/10 tonne power roller over sub-base of the road to achieve proper consolidation including watering etc. complete as per specifications, drawings and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.
Construction of granular sub - base by providing close graded material, mixing in a mechanical mix plant at OMC, carriage of mixed material to work site, spreading in uniform layers with motor grader on prepared surface and compacting with vibratory power roller to achieve the desired density, complete as per MORTH specifications 401. (The material of the GSB layer confirming Table 400.1 shall be spread in layers of uniform thickness of 200 mm compacted thickness).
Providing, laying, spreading and compacting stone aggregate for Wet Mix Macadam as per (MoRTH grade TABLE 400-1. GRADING FOR CLOSE-GRADED GRANULAR SUB- BASE MATERIALS compacted layer shall not be less than 75mm and shall not be more than 200mm) specification including premixing the material with water to OMC in wet mix plant as per approved design mix, carriage of mixed material by Tipper to site, laying in uniform layers with motor grader/ Front end Loader/paver finisher, in sub base/ base course on a well prepared under base and compacting with vibratory roller to achieve the desired density including lighting, guarding, barricading and maintenance of diversion etc by mechanical means at all leads & lifts all as directed by EIC and per MORTH Specifications, clause 406.
Providing and laying Dense Graded Bituminous Macadam (Providing and laying dense graded bituminous macadam with 100-120 TPH batch type HMP / DMP 60-90 TPH capacity / 80 - 100 TPH Capacity using crushed aggregates of specified grading, premixed with bituminous binder @ 4.0 to 4.5 per cent by weight of total mix and filler, transporting the hot mix to work site, laying with a hydrostatic paver finisher with sensor control to the required grade, level and alignment, rolling with smooth wheeled, vibratory and tandem rollers to achieve the desired compaction as per MoRTH specification clause No. 507 complete in all respects, with VG30 grade bitumen etc as per drawings as directed by EIC
Providing and laying semi dense bituminous concrete 25mm thick using crushed stone aggregates of specified grading, premix with bituminous binder at 4.5 to 5% of mix and filler, transporting the hot mix to work site laying with paver finisher with electronic sensor to the required grade, level and alignment and rolling with smooth, vibratory and tandem rollers to achieve the desired compaction and density as per MORTH specifications clause no. 500.8 complete in all respects as per MORTH specifications 508. with VG10 grade bitumen as per drawings as directed by EIC

Taking video graph of the specified trees before & after transplantation showing its Number and other details including the entire operation such as trimming the tree, making the ring, removal of tree, root treatment, lifting by crane, transplantation at specified locations, excavation of pits, filling with soil, manure, watering, editing the CDs by allocating approx. 15 minutes time for each tree, etc. as directed by E.I.C.
Transplanting of specified tree by pruning suitably as directed excavation of trench around the root ball of the tree at least one meter away from the trunk, cleaning of the site where the trees are to be transplanted, excavation of receiving pit of size 2.5X2.5 x 1.5 mtrs, filling it with 50% excavated good quality soil and 50% with good quality red garden soil & good quality FYM, in 1:1 proportion(cost of soil & manure is taken in Item no 3 & 4), saturating it with water for at least 3 days, cutting the roots of trees sharply without damaging them excessively, wrapping of the whole trunk of tree with hessian cloth to avoid damage to the bark while lifting/transplanting, lifting & shifting of the tree to the site of transplantation (within Mandala & Anushakti nagar) providing proper support after transplantation, applying growth hormones and fungicides to the trees including disposal of cut branches, waste to the dumping yard, etc all as required and directed by Engineer-In-Charge.
Cutting of specified trees small-mid size trees girth 1-4 ft. only identified by Engineer-in-charge from ground level, taking out the roots upto 1mtr. depth(1x1x1 cu. Mtr.), and area should by levelled properly. All the cut wood and its branches by removed from site quickly, disposing the branches, leaves roots and twigs at Tapti dumping ground at Anushaktinagar, cutting of trunk into logs for transportation and clearing of site immediately, including taking permission of forest department without any cost to department, all as required and direction by the Engineer-in-Charge

Street Light Poles: Design, manufacture, testing at works, supply, assembling, installation, and erection of Octagonal pole internally & externally hot dipped galvanised , fabricated out of 3mm thick sheet as per relevant I.S, complete with built in junction box, base plate size 200 X 200 X 16 mm, as per detailed specifications. Junction box should be provided 500 mm above base plate with 4 Nos brass terminals on epoxy insulator,1 no. 6A SP MCB (D-curve) & 1 no. neutral link mounted on 4 mm thick Bakelite sheet, gland plate etc. Base plate should have 4 nos holes suitable for mounting on existing RCC foundation 200 mm above FGL. The cost of pole shall include the cost of foundation bolts, anchor plates, nuts, washers, min 2nos.HDPE PLB pipe 50/40 mm dia bend to shape min. 1.5m. in length as per instructions of Engineer-In-Charge.
Notes: 1) The cost of excavation, PCC, RCC foundation items shall be measured under relevant Civil items in SOQ. 2) The RCC foundation design for poles shall be submitted as per site condition for dept. approval.
