SH-I: Maintenance of Water Softener Plant

Operation and Maintenance of Water Softener system along with associated equipment installed at existing water treatment plant on round the clock basis i/c monitoring and carrying out of softener process as per special conditions of contract and Preventive maintenance schedule as per Annexure - A etc., complete as required.

Testing of Ion-exchange softener Resin sample from an accredited or OEM lab and submission of original test report to the Engineer-In-Charge, once in a year / as and when required / if efficiency of softening process is found below accepted level as per special conditions of contract etc., as required.

Supply of softener resin media (Indion 225 Na only) and topping-up in the existing softener vessel i/c transportation, shifting and filling of resin in the vessel as per special conditions of contract etc., as required.

Supply of softener resin media (Indion 225 Na only) for replacement of old resin media from existing softener vessel including removal of old resin from softener vessel, cleaning the inner surface and filling with resin media including transportation, loading & unloading of resin as per site requirement and special conditions of contract etc., as required.

Supply of industrial salt (NaCl) suitable for use in softener plant i/c transportation, loading & unloading and stacking at AAI stores etc., as required.

AMC of existing double mast hydraulic goods lift (Besto make - 1 No.) through OEM or its authorised service dealer i/c carrying out monthly preventive maintenance activities as mentioned in Annexure - A and submission of service report etc., as per special conditions of contract etc., as required.

Providing unskilled manpower for shifting and loading into the softener vessel for carrying out salt regeneration process as and when required and as per directions of EIC etc. as required.

SH-II: Repairing and servicing of Pumps and Motors

Repairing and servicing of 7.5 HP HPS pumps installed with existing water softener plant including dismantling, replacement of defective / deteriorated spares such as bearing, bushing, seal, impellors, minor hardware items including cleaning, lubrication, painting with one or more coat of redoxide/ enamel paint and reinstallation, testing and commissioning as per special conditions of contract etc., as required.

a)7.5 HP soft water feed pumps (Horizontal Type) 75 cum/hr

b) 7.5 HP HPS (Vertical) 45 cum/hr

Repairing and servicing of following capacity motors installed with softner plant including dismantling, replacement of defective / deteriorated spares, rewinding with suitable size copper winding wire, insulation, warnishing / backing, re-assembling & reinstallation, testing and commissioning etc complete as required. (Note : Discount towards old copper winding wire shall be adjusted in the quoted rate)

a) 1.0 HP agitator motor

b) 7.5 HP motor

Replacement of defective spares for the following capacity agitator motor / pump installed with softrner plant including dismantling, replacement of spares, re-conditioning of shaft, painting, re-assembling & reinstallation, testing and commissioning etc complete as required.

Replacement of entire strainer nozzles fixed in the existing softener vessel made up of Plastic,K1+NU 60, 70 Dia x 48 Height, size of nozzle connection: M24 x 50/80, slit size: 0.2 mm, No of slits per nozzle: 40 Nos. including removal of existing softener Resin Media (Quantity - 6400 Ltr) from vessel and refilling etc complete as required.
